'Never Bow To Terrorists': Dutch MP Urges Indians To Support Nupur Sharma After Al-Qaeda's Threat

- Amid the massive backlash from Islamic nations and threat from terrorist organisation al Qaeda for her statements about Prophet Muhammad, former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has found support in Geert Wilders, a far-right leader from The Netherlands.
The BJP high command suspended national spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Sunday over her controversial remarks on Prophet Muhammad during a TV debate. The party has also suspended Delhi BJP's media in-charge Naveen Kumar Jindal.
This comes after violence broke out in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh on Friday after some people allegedly tried to force shopkeepers to down shutters over the remarks made by Nupur Sharma. At least 40 people, including 20 police personnel, were injured during the clashes, the police said.

The courage of Geert Wilders in defending the democratic right to freedom of speech should be admired! Nupur Sharma only quoted from Islamic scriptures. As Wilders says, one should stand up for the right to think freely and question any ideology. India should not have been contrite.
