0:24 “So old that it doesn’t even have a audio input on it.” yep he forgot that those are the white/red (left and right) RCA inputs on the front of the stereo.
Why would you go to all the trouble of taking apart the HiFi system to solder directly to the boards, only to twist-the wires together later? Cool idea, bad execution. Like others have said (or sarcastically implied): tone back the voiceover and the camera work. This is an electronics tutorial, not a video for distracting babies. Your actual content and your tone is all muddled up. And if you're already soldering, solder the wires together. The twist-and-tape is the worst bonding method ever. But I appreciate the idea. I think you could make quality videos if you adjusted how you produce them.
All of which could've been done without opening it up using those RCA inputs. Solder to the mainboard but then just twists those other wires together what a bodge if you're gonna do that heatshrink and solder fgs and lastly the length of those wires, unshielded I wonder what the audio quality is really like, honestly buzzz buzzz hummmmmm. Nice idea though and all power to you for showing that you can teach an old dog new tricks. If you're going to do stuff like this on youtube you really need to do the extra, make the wires as short as possible, use solder, heat shrink not tape and you certainly never ever twist audio wires together. If this is a early prototype for your channel then its a good start you just need to tone the voiceover down a notch and a little more attention to detail, like sealing both those tape deck sides together etc
this is the most annoying voice over. it’s so cringy
yeah for real
@@chronicandironic8701 Plus the camera/phone constantly moving in and out, totally amateur.
@@markmalasics3413 reminds me of 2018 early tik tok cringe
Yeah your content is garbage. You can buy Bluetooth adapters for 5 bucks that don't require you to open the chassis.
I want to appreciate the attempt of teaching electronics repair but this fix is overly complicated and there is already an aux input.
Also, the voiceover is cringy af
zoom in and out more, its absolutely enjoyable
not annoying at all
This video is so bad I'm going to buy a bluetooth radio and convert it to RF just to undo the cringe I felt
this is the most annoying
Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs had a kid?
Target audience: People that can use a pencil soldering iron but know absolutely nothing about stereo systems.
LOL Laughing at the comments! Brutal!
A fun concept if you aren't scared to ruin your old stereo system.
Awful.....
