it depends on the state your in and instincts, most of the people who were trapped for that long slept for hours-days at a time meaning they saved most of there energy and there instincts made them eat/drink what they could

In the kdrama they actually showed a lot what families wanted. So they made a REAL memorial, they interviewed victims and so on
