A note on V.III O'Keefe- it is possible to kite him down to the pit at the bottom of the arena, near the worm cave (which is blocked off by an invisible wall). For a melee-only run, this is crucial. He doesn't like dropping his hover mode, so he'll get caught in the rocks and pinned with successive attacks.
I already had all S ranks and still learned quite a bit. That Ice worm tech would have been very useful. Also didn't know ammo is such a big deal. I did it all on pace/ little damage taken.
You mentioned the mission "eliminate the enforcement squad" but not the actual boss of that mission, which is unfortunate because that's one of the only bosses I actually needed tips for. I guess there is no tip? You just get bullied by it over and over again until you rage.
my tip is to just commit to a "zone" (150+m range is good enough) I normally run the mission with Ransetsu RFs your trigger fingers may need some rest after the mission but how you do it is basically use the ransetsu RFs to up the stagger use what ever shoulder weapons you want I would use a 4-6 cell forward firing missile, and then melee so you can guess Basho arms (or arms with decent to high melee perf) maybe needed for fast kills the melee weapon of choice is up to you I recommend pile bunker if not then the pulse blade I can make a vod about it if you want some ideas the vod should be viewable on my profile
He can't hit you if you're either directly above or below him, his shield doesn't cover his back, and he has a fairly low stagger threshold. Biggest challenge here, is that you gotta fight him a damn phonebooth. I recommend something fast, that can be in the air for a while, and dual ransetsu RF works wonders.
I got a few of my own Sea spider: when the spider does the big slam attack, you can pretty consistently dodge it by going towards it, through its legs, as opposed to going up or away Nepenthes: Put on a high energy resistance frame and a shield and you can sit in the little nook where the bridges meet the center platform and fall straight down. Yoh will barely get hit and what does hit you you will barely feel. Allmind/Iguazu: Missiles + Hard lock + Run away = kekw. Double hand missile + double coral missile (hidden part you get on the mission just before) with a heavy frame, coral gen, and the ng001 thrusters for vertical performance and just go up and down while back strafing to dodge everything
I did the exact opposite for fighting All Mind Iguazu, his buddies in phase 1 can be very disruptive if you focus him down directly, and the Sea Spider lites actually don't do all that much in phase 2 and can be fully ignored. Apart from one instance where one swooped in off screen and hit me with a melee.
he keep one shotting me on the 3rd phase lol i am so tired its been 3 days now and i have yet to beat him because of the one shot moves he has and how tanky he is as well.
@@eljoven732 The Ibis, Ayre, and All Mind Iguazu fight are all boss battles where I felt I had to change my strategy to overcome them. Instead of being aggressive and chasing them down, playing more defensively and making distance and waiting for openings more like a Souls game was a more helpful strategy. The melee attacks are what usually gets me, so I would try to mostly stay grounded until I see one coming and try avoiding by jumping at the last moment using reverse joints, combining with quick boosting back and to the side, or jumping and trying to cross over them. Sometimes they just have way too good tracking, you'll have to play around with the timing.
@Blakobness yeah I have changed strategy like 8x and I cannot beat him 😮💨 i have no problem getting to the 3d phase with all repair kits he basically one shots me every time or I get obliterated because I run out of EN. I am starting to think this was just a poor design of a boss fight, because I have never had any issues with the other boss fights
@malum9478 I have no problem with the adds, I can make to the 3rd without using a single repair kit, it's just the 3rd phase, he has suck a massive hit box and even when he barely hits me I take so much dmg. The boss fight is broken 🤕
My suggestion for the Smart cleaner is dual mini guns in hands and dual vertical launchers, also make sure to have the hover legs equipped. When the fight starts, follow Rust’s advice for the first part but immediately lock onto the smoke stack and fire your rockets rather than targeting the core. So long as you’re on the ground, your rockets will generally not hit the ceiling unless he’s in one of the alcoves, you are, or you fire under one of the weird roof crane arms. As for when your launchers are reloading, immediately jump and start hovering about a AC’s height higher than the smoke stack and start dumping both mini guns down it. You probably are gonna take hits if you aren’t paying attention to when it does the fire balls from its stack or the arms. Now you have created a viscous cycle of breaking its posture and dealing damage.
I'm gonna edit the tip against the 2nd helicopter. If you take out all the snipers first, moving in a box shape from right, pushing to the one on the highest tower, dashing to the furtherest one from there then taking the one out on the center you are near a cluster of 3 xylem defense droids, these can be more effective if your generator doesn't recover as quickly or you aren't using tetrapod legs. I used this with the spring chicken legs to almost always hide in the city then apply pressure. When stunned the droids do help out a lot and I only had to 2 stun it twice to take it out.
Thats actually a great tip if you aren't interested in getting the log he drops for killing him. That singular mission has no checkpoints and until you're VERY good you might not last the whole mission. The HC is a big meany!
@@kirbyis4everArguably the hardest mission in the game. 4 consecutive AC-like fights, with one of them being a gank, and no checkpoints whatsoever is brutal.
It may feel awkward to use but the chainsaw is the best weapon against him. 3 charged connects and 95% of his hp is gone. Use the bubble blower to erase his shield. Got a video for it.
Use the same build Vaati uses to erase ordinary balteus IT WORKS bubble guns and dual shot guns will still melt it I can not comment on the beyblade lasers he does though but altitude helps so.... Gridwalkers? Killing the smart cleaner with dual shotguns though maybe a tad different but should be doable with rusty at your side
Tbh while I do like the Swinburne tip, it's frankly even funnier to straight up erase him with a charged pilebunker while he's in the middle of making his offer & after his pulse shield self-drains from him utterly wasting the thing. Granted you'll probably need Basho arms to deal enough damage, but with roughly 50% of his AP bar remaining the bunker should be able to ice him even without being ACS broken. I straight up laughed my butt clean off for a good 5 minutes in disbelief when I first did it, it was utterly glorious. lol
5:29 ummm ackhually you can just fly up to the right side immediately after entering the arena. not only do you not need the helicopters for the s-rank but that way you'll also be right behind the enemy LC spawn 8:35 ummm ackhually you can just stand still and the ice worm will come out facing you 16:11 I've found it a ton easier going for the HC first because for some reason it's really hard for the LCs to actually come help him also vro ignoring our boy Rokumonsen
Use horizontal plasma missiles during the Nile fight to clear the MT's. In fact, as someone that got the plat, if you're dealing with lots of MT's, just use those horizontal plasma missiles every time. They have fast reload and targeting (the fastest, targetting, actually), a massive ammo pool, can target 6 enemies, and are a guaranteed one-shot against all MT's and Normals. You don't even need a good missile-focus on your FCS. The missile platform and tower defense missions are a joke with them. The only time they don't work are in the "Survey the Uninhabited Floating City" against those little bird drones. They move too fast.
When fighting Carla, she's pre-scripted to do a missile volley and EMP explosion at battle start every time. Move behind the column on your left at the very start to avoid everything.
for the helicopter escort, just wait under the helicopter and assault armor and you'll 1 shot the ads and you can 1v1 the AC with minimal damage to the heli
The tactic that works for 90% of the bosses is to always get within spitting distance of the target, unload and keep up with it when it inevitably runs away.
I feel like because of how the movement feels in this game, players think that it's way more of a fast paced combat system than it actually is. Just keep in mind that just because you have so much going on during fights doesn't mean you have to let it overwhelm you, that's what the CPU is aiming to do. This game is fast paced yes, but not enough that don't have enough time to think about your next move on the fly
So no one is thinking that the laser pistols are a bit OP? Cause I used them the whole game and did not feel. Much threat from anyone......well other than that ninja AC in the area
The ALLMIND Iguazu fight is easily my favorite boss in the game and as such I've done it like 30+ times with a huge assortment of different builds, so I'd figured I'd add my own set of tips for the fight: Phase 1: I seriously recommend taking out the mooks first as they can really get in the way when you try to go after Iguazu. Iguazu himself plays super passively and doesn't really do a whole lot so once the mooks are gone he's really simple to deal with. This phase is easily the most annoying part as if you don't take out the mooks they will interrupt you when going after Iguazu by ganging up on you and using their blades and Assault Armor. It is incredibly annoying and will happen to regardless of whatever build you are using, especially if you're using a hyper aggressive melee build with stuff like the Lance, Pile Bunker or Chainsaw where they will consistently knock you out of your animations. Those kind of builds can ignore the mooks through how fast they can defeat him, but I tend to just play it safe and destroy at least a handful of them. Phase 2: In my opinion this is the easiest part. I start the fight by standing with Ayre at the start and forcing Iguazu to come to me. Ayre likes to drop Pulse Protection when you do this and that can save you a lot of AP should she choose to drop it. It also puts her in range to be able to hit Iguazu much more easily which is a massive help giving how much damage she can actually deal. Then just focus and tail after Iguazu while ignoring the Sea Spiders. From my experience the Sea Spiders tend to pose very little threat in the grand scheme of things and if you simply rush down Iguazu and dodge accordingly. Phase 3: This is by far the hardest part and arguably the hardest boss in the game, which is fitting. Seeing how this is a boss similar to CEL-240 in that it just launches a ton of attacks that you have to be able to react to quickly enough, I don't have many tips for this. To be frank, I don't even know how to dodge everything here, when I get to this phase it often times feels like my hands are playing the game by themselves without any input from my brain and I could not describe to you what I was doing. What I can definitively say is that during this and the second phase he has a gigantic hitbox that likes to get hit by anything meaning you can squeeze more hits than you think. As such the Truenos are fantastic for this, but personally my fastest runs of this fight were from using Chainsaw builds bizarrely enough. I definitely don't recommend trying that if it's your first time trying to beat the boss, but I do recommend trying it at some point because I think it's a lot of fun.
You see I have no problem getting to the 3rd phase without healing and I basically have the same strategy as you mentioned for the first two phases but the 3rd is ridiculous 😩 he hits me even when he didn't hit me and almost every time he does hit me I died instantly. I even had the pulse armor once and he chunks me down in 2 hits that I just can't dodge even when I dodge
Some advice for Phase 3: The biggest danger is his melee swipes and flying charge. There are two methods; First method - Equip boosters with high vertical thrust, and simply fly over his head, and drop STRAIGHT down, quick boost back under him, and back up, but the most reliable way I've found to dodge this is to bait the attack in the air, and while dropping straight down as he approaches quick boost towards and slightly left (Iguazu's right.) MOST OF THE TIME, his swipes will whiff right over your head, timing doesn't have to be frame precise, but you can't be too off. If you can manage to stay directly beneath, or directly above him, those will be your safest positions, as his melee attacks have crappy vertical tracking. Another thing you can do, in an emergency, but you can't rely on it, bait a melee swipe, and hit him with assault armor to stagger and punish, but if you don't hit the stagger your screwed, because the assault armor animation is enough that you won't be able to dodge the incoming attack, high risk, high reward. Beyond that, most of his attacks aren't to much to worry about, just don't tank them with your face. Safest method is to stick fairly close to him and get as many staggers as possible. I find dual Ransetsu RF to be VERY effective for this fight, as well as a dual cell 8-way split missiles, and a coral oscillator. Personally, I used The HAL 826 but replaced the generator with the VP-20C, aside from that, a standard HAL 826, yeah I lose the bonus damage on my blade, but the additional energy efficiency is worth the tradeoff.
Missed both of the standard ending penultimate bosses. The infinite energy duel with Rusty in FoR, Snailteus in LoR. Also, I've always refilled supplys, I don't think it costs you the S rank.
I’m still jealous of everyone who says raven was easy. He smashed me face in so many times that I completed the entire arena before I beat him… then I realized what shotguns were :)
Double needler always make things easy for me when paired with high mobility and boost build... I often pair it with two stun needles its surprisingly very good on PVE with mid rand close range FCS it just stun locks everything and also deals decent quick damage you will never retry any boss again.. except for ayre though it seems shes still difficult tbh i find ayre to bw the most difficult final boss took me atleast 20 tries compared to walter and allmind which i finished in one run
You said to ignore G6 Red, and I know he's not the hardest AC fight considering he's in a tight section of the map, but what if there are folks need a quick tip to get that combat log? You gave a tip for the Tester AC and Index Durham, two of the easiest AC fights in the game, but G6 Red doesn't because he'll get in the way of an S-Rank?
Double zimmie on Michigan till stagger then full laser slicer combo plus a pulse armor will put him away Also I don't think taking a resupply affects s ranking
Pretty sure the only way resupply can hurt your ranking, is if you needlessly waste ammo and take excessive damage. Because at that point, you're just further jacking up ammo and repair costs.
I beat the Ekdromoi with a bazooka, a napalm launcher, and missiles. Just never stopped firing :P Good ol' warcrimer, lighting everything on fire and bombing the area.
You actually ignored Snail Balteus, also you seem to think resupply affect your rank, they dont. And killing stuff gets you more score then your time lost most of the time, basica MTs are 4 secds each and you dont even need to stop your assault boost to kill them.
There's a handful of glaring omissions from the boss list and I think if you were gonna make the tips this build dependent you probably could've just made a build for each boss and explained how to use them. Feels odd to do an in between when either of the alternatives seem to click better. I appreciate the effort you're putting into covering this game but I think so far a lot of it's been very surface level and a little ignorant to the emotional "core" (ha) of the game. It really shouldn't come up in a best to worst ranking of the bosses that you just didn't really pay attention to the dialogue. Totally fair, neither does AboveAverageGaming, but I feel like you could at least call it "easiest to hardest" and be honest about it. Really love your content usually, and there's a pretty close to 0% chance that you read this, but I hope you do, because I really do love your content, and I wish AC got the same amount of care your other videos seem to have in spades.
Ngl, everyone says to run up on Balteus, completely forgetting that he has a shotgun that insta-stuns and mulches you. One can even see him use it in the footage used here. It's really not as good advice as people say.
@@itol2201 I had not such issue but regardless, he tends to not shoot the missles when up close, and for phase 2, the flame sword swings miss, or if he does one that is more vertical, you can QB out of the way easily. The hardest part is getting to said position with how much he moves.

15:14 MT starts dancing😂
I already had all S ranks and still learned quite a bit. That Ice worm tech would have been very useful. Also didn't know ammo is such a big deal. I did it all on pace/ little damage taken.
Great content as always! Keep up the great work man!
For allmind iguazu you should just ignore the spiders because most of the time they'll focus on ayre and they die once you get iguazu to 50% anyway
You mentioned the mission "eliminate the enforcement squad" but not the actual boss of that mission, which is unfortunate because that's one of the only bosses I actually needed tips for. I guess there is no tip? You just get bullied by it over and over again until you rage.
my tip is to just commit to a "zone" (150+m range is good enough) I normally run the mission with Ransetsu RFs your trigger fingers may need some rest after the mission but how you do it is basically use the ransetsu RFs to up the stagger use what ever shoulder weapons you want I would use a 4-6 cell forward firing missile, and then melee so you can guess Basho arms (or arms with decent to high melee perf) maybe needed for fast kills the melee weapon of choice is up to you I recommend pile bunker if not then the pulse blade I can make a vod about it if you want some ideas
the vod should be viewable on my profile
He can't hit you if you're either directly above or below him, his shield doesn't cover his back, and he has a fairly low stagger threshold. Biggest challenge here, is that you gotta fight him a damn phonebooth. I recommend something fast, that can be in the air for a while, and dual ransetsu RF works wonders.
Thank you Rusty for reminding me that I keep forgetting to buy this game
I got a few of my own
Sea spider: when the spider does the big slam attack, you can pretty consistently dodge it by going towards it, through its legs, as opposed to going up or away
Nepenthes: Put on a high energy resistance frame and a shield and you can sit in the little nook where the bridges meet the center platform and fall straight down.
I am starting to think this was just a poor design of a boss fight, because I have never had any issues with the other boss fights
nah you may just wanna work on your evasion bro, bursting down iguazu is way easier and more efficient than trying to deal with all of his adds
@malum9478 I have no problem with the adds, I can make to the 3rd without using a single repair kit, it's just the 3rd phase, he has suck a massive hit box and even when he barely hits me I take so much dmg. The boss fight is broken 🤕
I somehow killed Walter in seconds. Pretty sure it was just from running duel pre-nerf stun needles.
Had the least issue with him out of all the final bosses, myself. His rifle and blade are almost too easy to slip around and punish.
He has the same life as an AC.... killing Walter in seconds is "easy" you just have to shove down a giant pole into the core with Basho arms
Can you do a video on Lies of P
It's basically a new souls like game
Armored Core 6 romance tier list next video. Iguazu S rank or riot
You don't need to fight Ring Freddie after picking up the combat log from the wreck. Just fly away and he'll just go back.
Thats actually a great tip if you aren't interested in getting the log he drops for killing him. That singular mission has no checkpoints and until you're VERY good you might not last the whole mission. The HC is a big meany!
Really, the only reason to fight him is for the log. Otherwise, if you're just trying to S rank, you're better off not even going over there.
@@kirbyis4everArguably the hardest mission in the game. 4 consecutive AC-like fights, with one of them being a gank, and no checkpoints whatsoever is brutal.
I see a lot of tank builds, while i am just here with the High speed crak head one
Ooo it was hard to make it work and carry all the heavy weapons
For Nepenthes, I don't even activate the platform, just go over to the nearest corner near the wall and just freefall
Most difficult boss for me was Arquebus Balteus, and seems he was so difficult that no tips can help with him XD
What about Rokumonsen, Snail Balteus, the arquebus Heavy Shield Cavalry?
Tbh while I do like the Swinburne tip, it's frankly even funnier to straight up erase him with a charged pilebunker while he's in the middle of making his offer & after his pulse shield self-drains from him utterly wasting the thing. Granted you'll probably need Basho arms to deal enough damage, but with roughly 50% of his AP bar remaining the bunker should be able to ice him even without being ACS broken. I straight up laughed my butt clean off for a good 5 minutes in disbelief when I first did it, it was utterly glorious. lol
Ok, but hear me out: you can eject your weapons and kill him with a punch.
How dare you forget the best boss! MAD STOMP!!!!!
5:29 ummm ackhually you can just fly up to the right side immediately after entering the arena. not only do you not need the helicopters for the s-rank but that way you'll also be right behind the enemy LC spawn
8:35 ummm ackhually you can just stand still and the ice worm will come out facing you
16:11 I've found it a ton easier going for the HC first because for some reason it's really hard for the LCs to actually come help him
also vro ignoring our boy Rokumonsen
Pilebunked his ass before he knew I was there
Use horizontal plasma missiles during the Nile fight to clear the MT's.
Professor snail
This is beautiful more ac6 content please sir
hey where was the other other rusty fight with infinite energy?
When fighting Carla, she's pre-scripted to do a missile volley and EMP explosion at battle start every time. Move behind the column on your left at the very start to avoid everything.
for the helicopter escort, just wait under the helicopter and assault armor and you'll 1 shot the ads and you can 1v1 the AC with minimal damage to the heli
The tactic that works for 90% of the bosses is to always get within spitting distance of the target, unload and keep up with it when it inevitably runs away.
You can also just blow up all the ads with assault armor during the first phase with allmind so they won't bother you any longer.
Do quick tip vs enemies next
There are like 6 enemies in the game
So no one is thinking that the laser pistols are a bit OP? Cause I used them the whole game and did not feel. Much threat from anyone......well other than that ninja AC in the area
I somehow managed to kill v.iii pater before his healthbar even appeared on screen using x2 stun needles

The ALLMIND Iguazu fight is easily my favorite boss in the game and as such I've done it like 30+ times with a huge assortment of different builds, so I'd figured I'd add my own set of tips for the fight:
Phase 1: I seriously recommend taking out the mooks first as they can really get in the way when you try to go after Iguazu.
Can't go wrong with the Double Trouble
Did you not know the cleaners chimney was a weak point that builds up a bunch of strain
I feel like the chimney is a trap, took several attempts mainly targeting the chimney, switch priority to the front and it was cake
Just equip quad legs and you can bypass the entirety of the fight mechanics of the smart cleaner.
Balteus? Oh you mean the Almighty Filter
I have all achievements so this guide is kinda useless to me, but I'm watching it anyway in case I REALLY want to go back and demolish some bosses
One tip for all of them. The tip of my Pile Bunker heavy attack! 😅
For o Keefe i would suggest a tetrapod missile spam build to ease the challenge
If you want help from the rubiconians, go find the tetrapod combat log and hang out with it and it'll help you fight them.
Guys, I need a 10 minute guide on how to beat Rummy guys he's literally so hard that he's "invincible"
great video buddy as always keep up the great work.
I've watch your bloodborne video an was inspired to start it again. Wish me luck.
All that's great till you've used max ap + 2 Dizzies and 2 earshots.
Wait until Rusty picks up Lies of P. Quality Soulslikes similar to Bloodborne are hard to come by, after all.
glad to see you have the capability to compliment something other than bloodborne rusty!
Missed both of the standard ending penultimate bosses. The infinite energy duel with Rusty in FoR, Snailteus in LoR.
Also, I've always refilled supplys, I don't think it costs you the S rank.
They don't, you can also usually get away with at least one repair kit in boss fights.
I'm waiting for that Lords of the fallen video .
First time I went against Nightfall Raven, I fully charged the chainsaw and when they rushed me I instantly ended them with one hit
I’m still jealous of everyone who says raven was easy. He smashed me face in so many times that I completed the entire arena before I beat him… then I realized what shotguns were :)
I beat the game 5 times and the last time I left off at the last chapter 5 so I can keep replaying the boss.
I have a tip for nepenthes use the pile bunker for a one shot
Dont think I didnt notice you skipped Mad Stomp lol.
Surprised the advice doesn't begin and end at "just get good" considering this is the FromSoft community we're talking about here.
I don't think Rusty likes the "Fromsoft community" very much, if his scripts are any indication 🤣
I mean recommending "just get good" when you recommend the Recon Depot mission in Last Raven as the first mission.... is a tad bit... on the nose?
you uh, you missed one boss
Double zimmie on Michigan till stagger then full laser slicer combo plus a pulse armor will put him away
Also I don't think taking a resupply affects s ranking
Even after the nerf?
Does the resupply actually damage the ranking? I used all the resupply and still got all S rank, I thought they allowed it...
Pretty sure the only way resupply can hurt your ranking, is if you needlessly waste ammo and take excessive damage.
Because at that point, you're just further jacking up ammo and repair costs.
I Was Wondering Are You Still Working On Fyremoth You Just Haven't Made Any HK Content In While So I Was Curious
Global tip
Press Shift to Win
I beat the Ekdromoi with a bazooka, a napalm launcher, and missiles. Just never stopped firing :P
Good ol' warcrimer, lighting everything on fire and bombing the area.
this is very helpful
Where’s the V.II BALTEUS encounter?? That’s the only boss I’m struggling to get the s rank on for the platinum
OMG he looks so much like the Snail in my head 😅
Where is Snaill Balteus?? Did I miss him or is he not in the video?
Did we forget about Arquebus Balteus? Am I blind?
Errm where the flip is Mad Stomp?
Or if you dont care about s rank or anything just go full gatling for nearly all boss fights
29k views in almost 2 weeks… yeah we aren’t letting you move on from Elden ring quite yet
Any ideas on how to avoid ALLMIND Iguazu's melee? I keep getting smacked by it with seemingly no way to avoid it
Dodge to the opposite side he's swinging from and towards him and you should go under his swings
Video idea : rank the elden ring areas
Ngl, everyone says to run up on Balteus, completely forgetting that he has a shotgun that insta-stuns and mulches you. One can even see him use it in the footage used here. It's really not as good advice as people say.
You just need to stay either directly above or below him and it can't do much to you.
@@NotASuspicousPerson I've had it shoot through his body to hit me, I don't think where you are matters much xD
@@itol2201 I had not such issue but regardless, he tends to not shoot the missles when up close, and for phase 2, the flame sword swings miss, or if he does one that is more vertical, you can QB out of the way easily.
The hardest part is getting to said position with how much he moves.
