A Floorpump with an Air Tank?

Lezyne Pressure Overdrive Floor Pump
I've seen many videos of these floor pumps with the extra air tank so you can pump to your desired pressure and just release the air into your valve shooting out the tire beads into place unto the rim. How convenient... Well, as I found out in the making of this video some things are not always as simple as they seem.

Nope. The gauge is only to show the pressure in the cannister.

When you are firstly boosting the tyre onto the rim its easier to do without the valve core.
Once the tyre has popped into place then you no longer need to boost and the pump can be used the normal way

Thanks for the info. I'll have to make sure because I think the pump connection screws onto the valve core. But maybe just hold the pump's firing over the valve (without the core) by hand, maybe?

Nice vdo on pressure over drive bicycle floor pump. Can we use this for normal bicycle tyre and general purpose use as on football? Thanks for the demo.

Don’t use CO2 it does not work with sealant , and this is a good pump. Pump to 160 psi open quickly to seat tire .
