If one transistor starts carrying more current than the other it will run hotter. That results in a reduction of the base-emitter voltage, meaning it will take even more of the current and runner hotter still. The emitter "ballast" resistors do increase losses in the circuit, but they are essential.
Can it handle 12volt or more voltage 9amper current for long time like around 4 to 5 hours or little less?and can it decrease little voltage then 12 volt?
I've seen several people do this basic circuit but NO one is showing an amp meter or using a thermometer to check the heatsink to see how heat is being transfered to that piece. It is really important to know this to see how effecient the regulator is actually. These are nothing really more than a linear regulator and therefore cannot be all the efficient as there has to be lost power in heat. A switching system would be much more useful, For sure if all you want is a linear system then these are fine and simple.

O problema destes circuitos caseiros ,e disto ninguem fala va-se la saber porque,e a sua queda de tensao,quando se aplica uma carga...uma lampada ou motor na saida de ajuste,ou seja por exemplo uma lampada de 12 volts 21 watts quando ligada na saida de ajuste a 12 volts reais,nao tem o brilho que deveria ter ao ser ligada a 12 volts reais,e se na maioria dos videos de facto mostra a lampada la ligada com os 12 volts e o brilho normal,e porque a voltagem la injectada de momento nao sao os 12 volts reais mas sim uma voltagem superior talvez 15v 20 v ou mais para ela dar o brilho normal,e para provar isso e muito facil em antes de por a carga lampada e regular a saida ajustavel para os 12 volts sem carga e so depois ligar a lampada,entao ai pode-se verificar a queda de tensao de 12 volts reais para 7 volts 6 ou 5 volts,porque de facto nao pode ter uma quebra tao acentuada,no aceitavel talvez 0,5 volts,dai a grande lacunas destes circuitos caseiros,nao quero dizer mal destes projectos e bem haja quem os faz e ate sao interessantes,mas na realidade tem este senao.

There is nothing in your setup to guarantee that both tabs will punch through the oxide layer on the aluminum heat sink, or that a low-resistance connection will be formed if it does. Also, while I have your attention, the thumbnail says 50 amps, and that is just complete and utter hogwash. You don''t have the base drive to do it, and the heatsink is completely inadequate. It is misleading to read what is written on the transistor and put it in the title thinking it will be in the whole circuit. Pass 12 volts, 10 amps through this circuit for 1 hour. The circuit will burn. It will burn like crazy. It only works in small jobs. Efficiency is fifty percent.
