    There's actually no water content in Novec, its liquid at room temperature but evaporates to the heat of your skin, its solution is also dielectric so you can submerge a phone in it and not do any damage.

      Adding water will alter the chemical structure of Novec. In some cases it might turn it into a substance without extinguishing benefit or even become a flammable compound.

    If a fire happens, you're not going to stick around. 15% is -more- than enough to sustain your life and allow you to get to safety.

      thats only 5% less than what your used to breathing every day
      15% is about the oxygen youd expect to find in aspen colorado when skiing at a altitude of 2500 meters

      Yeah better just go with the full CO2 only gas system.

      Co2 is Danger but Inergen is safer and you can breath

    so since when can a human breathe at 15% oxygen? i think th ecreator needs to do a little trial testing!!

      It does not sustain life for long, but compared to CO2 systems (1 minute and you're done) they're pretty safe.

    • @Dr.W.Krueger
      @Dr.W.Krueger 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It works fine. The added CO2 level accelerates breathing which in turn will keep O2 saturation high enough. You are also not exposed to it for long. We easily managed 5 minutes in a closed room during a live demonstration.
