    Been running the Vevor 400w for best part of a year. A weird clunking bearing sound now that wasn't apparent when I installed it and that's just 1 season. Does produce energy but I think a better quality 5 blade would be better. The best thing about this model is it has a great mounting clamp which makes things easy. My other Chinese import of the same wattage has a convoluted mounting system where I have to take extra things down the shop and get them fabricated $$$. It's still unboxed lol. Thanks for the vid.

      Hi Zeberdee, I just test the turbines for a short time, a big doubt that remains about these cheap products is precisely the life of the components, especially the bearings which are a very stressed part.

      A friend of mine purchased one of these, the first thing he did was strip it down to change the bearings.

    Most important thing in buying one of these small wind turbine is to test the speed using a drill before you even think about putting it on a pole I've not found one yet that can produce energy at low wind speed even with the help of the charger that boosts the amperage they are completely wasted of time even the test being done here is questionable compared to the test I've done

      Hi, I use a cut Allen key, almost all generators of this size this year on the rotor shaft.

      Hi Omar, and thank's, possible to recharge, but I would prefer a solar panel with mppt controller for ecoflow as recommended by them.

      Yes sure. But i need much more informations in order to add Wind Turbine as a support of all the rest of architecture (solar panel + battery ON grid existing). Where i live (URBINO - ITALY) there is a lot of windy days during the year, but unfortunately i didn't find no one that can help me create a domestic wind rechargable structure. The italian istitutions that controls green power solutions doesn't provide nothing for domestic wind turbine, and i think that this is wierd because, italy has some places that are very good for this kind of solution (sorry for my english)

I'm sorry but I can't help you in this field, try to turn to professional turbine sellers (there aren't many though .....) and ask for technical information about it. I hope you can get some help but I think it won't be easy.

      Hi Anni, if you consider the low purchase price (less than € 150) it is not bad but the yield is lower than that declared, we are on the maximum 150 watts in direct current (tested with grid tiè inverter in the other video) at the output from the generator against the declared 400 watts.

    Where do the three wires coming down from the generator go no one ever tells you and I'm getting different messages please help rolls

      The 3 wires that come out of the generator without a precise sequence must be connected to the charge regulator from where 2 wires then come out that go to the battery

      Hi Some More, the pole to mount the generator needs to be 54mm but 50mm to 56mm is fine anyway.

    You can generate 100W when the hurricane pass or buy a wind turbine with 400 American Watts. 🤣

      In the next videos I will demonstrate that a hurricane is not needed to produce 100 watts .... 😊 ..... you have to consider that a turbine of this type has a price ten times lower than a good American turbine.

    How did you connect the power meter to the windturbine? Did you connect the mppt to a battery and then measuring with 2 cables connected to power meter, but there are 4 ports on the power meter and you only got 2 connections. Should you "send" the power through the power meter? Thankful for answer

      Hi Philip, the meter has 4 input +/- and +/- wires which must be connected to the load, in this case the battery, to the other two wires connect the + and - of the charge regulator connected to the turbine.

      @@windturbine Have Done that now, did you also connect 2 wires to the battery for this test? When I use a drill with 2000rpm I only get like 0.01A, the voltage never exceeds the 12v battery so I suppose it’s therefore it won’t charge

      @@philipardvall1968 Hello, of course I have connected the two output ends to the battery, if it is as you say there is certainly some problem, at 450 rpm it must start charging the battery.

      Testing with a grid tie inverter at 1000 RPM we have a maximum power of about 140 watts at 12 vdc
