The older brother of the drummer in the band we were in , bought this album home when he returned for Vietnam. This is the very first song that he played on this monster Marantz stereo system that he also bought back with him. Shook the whole house. We were Blown away. Of course we would play in the band for years. Still remember that amazing moment fall of 1970 RIP Gerry a Ghost Rider from 101st Airborn Thanks to John Fogerty for all the GREAT music!
You have GOT to be joking. He sounds absolutely nothing like the voice that brought him his success. He shouldn't even be playing this anymore because he sounds so far off.
When I was in the Nam 54 years ago, i had this album on eight-track stereo and me and my gunship platoon members would 'burn-one' while listening to it at least three times in succession and rock the hootch and draw more assault helicopter brothers for a JAMMIN' time!!!
Aronoff knows how to play drums but sadly he's "overplaying" this tune. He should let the song breathe. He's also rushing thru the song. He could have kept the song simple and tight. Now he's all over the place. Perfect example of not playing the song but his instrument.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with his voice!! He sings without the rough edge, his voice has become smoother, but it sounds wonderful. He doesn't sound 67, he sounds 27. He is weathering very well. Lucky us!!!!
Far beyond Creedence's best song...it's one of the best songs of all time. Hard to find any song that is as original and rocks as hard as this one. Mega influential on a certain breed of guitarist.
dang i was never really a fan but i must say that his licks from the 2 minute mark to the 5:45 mark are a guitar gently weeping and brought me to tears....so simple but so powerfully emotional....guitar playing like that just doesnt exist any longer...i am proud to have been young in the 70s...
Best jamming song ever from CCR. John sounds great and original here. So wish they'd mended their differences and had a reunion. The soundtrack to my youth...CCR!

He has got a great vocal. What more do you need from his voice. It's true, it isn't as 40 years ago but John is 67 years old and you must understand it.
I've always loved this song! This version is pretty good even I prefer the original one on "Cosmos Factory". The drummer doesn't make me forget Doug Clifford..
Kenny has played for or with over 75 major musicians. Having said that it speaks for itself. What a wonderful combination and great band of musicians playing this song! Thank You!!!!!!
To my knowledge never saw any playtime on radio unless underground of FM stations never played lived by the group Fogerty had a gem but it's not what the radio would play.Im glad I was able to see him play live in a more upbeat level .I always thought he could do more with this song.
Cómo me gusta esta a canción! me recuerda a mi niñez, cuando la escuchaba en el tocadisco Winco en casa de mis abuelos.. y esta versión en vivo está impresionante. Viva el Rock and roll!!!
I went to bed for like 2 years listen to this song it made me feel so free and excited and I was loving life I still do I love you Jonathan already more than you'll ever know
This video should be dedicated to all those people out there wondering what one of their favorite artists would sound like if they were still alive today...you know who you are. I'm happy that John Fogerty is still here...still playing...and still Rock'in !!!! You need not wonder what John would sound like today because here he is !!! Unlike so many others of his generation who have passed before their time. Go back to watching old CCR. vids if you don't like this !!!
El baterista, brutal!!!! Tremenda banda, tremendo Performance John, el ídolo de mi papá y con el que aprendí de la mejor música del mundo, antes de saber leer! Gracias papá donde estes ❣
Hermoso tema. Uno de mis favoritos.Me encanta Creedence y John Fogerty. Marcó una época. Lo q llamábamos canción de protesta. Critica de la sociedad de su tiempo. La música es increíble. Alucinante!!!
I LOVE this song! The middle part I consider a 'soulsong' and it could stand by itself. He still plays it just GREAT with a few little improvisations since the original which I have and it is stupendous. In fact, I'd like to see a release of it with some interesting 'greater' improvisations. It could be a whole album side...
i recieved this album for christmas i had only heard ramble tamble once on the radio half way through the song so happy this song and ccr and john fogarty are a part of my life . this was a great version thank you john(r.i.p tom fogarty) .stu and doug thank you all for your timeless music.
Ramble Tamble for me is Jorney of life since I listen to CCR 45 years ago. So... the sounds perfect. Strong. Tears. Time. Cosmos Factory.. Toda to Shlomo who let me know ccr since i 5 years.. Jhoen Fogerty Great!!!! Moti G. Israel
John's still got it but the original was pure and sweet - these other guys are just going through the motions. Cosmo's Factory had soul - that album will live forever. John's hair seems darker than when CCR was in London back around 1970 - amazing!!!
ed chapman first LP I bought.. when I came back after my first "Magical Mystery Tour" from Nam..but I also have bout a 160 songs on my I-pod as a playlist when I feel "froggy" to reminsist my youth of the 60's don't get any better that that!👏👏👏👏👏👏💪👍🦅🇺🇸🆒❗️
First time I’ve ever seen this performed live, thank you.
Really? You probably just saw the best performance of it then! I'm not shitting you mofo
U. Welcome
I. Jam. U. All. Nite
How was John able to recruit Paul Shaffer to drum ??

Cosmos Factory was the first
record I ever bought and I
drove my folks crazy with
"Ramble Tamble " 🎵
Not my first and I never drove my ‘Rents nuts with anything I listened to…they weren’t fans but they understood
my favourite Creedence song.
Hands down, dude! The coolest thing is that the oldest the voice, the better it sounds!
You have GOT to be joking. He sounds absolutely nothing like the voice that brought him his success. He shouldn't even be playing this anymore because he sounds so far off.
BULLSHIT MARK, WHEN YOU AGE YOU DON''T SOUND EXACTLY LIKE YOU DID WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG. BUT JOHN DID A GREAT JOB.
Ken Dematteis That's exactly what a said... except that it sounded horrible... Ken.
John doesn't smoke any more, that's what made his voice raspy when he was young, It's probably why we still have him.
pretty ballsy move to have a 7 minute track be your album opener but god damn it, this is one of the best.
When I was in the Nam 54 years ago, i had this album on eight-track stereo and me and my gunship platoon members would 'burn-one' while listening to it at least three times in succession and rock the hootch and draw more assault helicopter brothers for a JAMMIN' time!!!
Stop using God's Name in vain, please.
I could listen to this jam over and over and over again. The band is fabulous and the drummer is totally AWESOME!
I saw a clip with this drummer where he said Fogerty always tells him to "kick his ass" and make him keep his pace up !
@@rmrice hi i gave a like because of your name Bubba the drummer was great
The drummer is Kenny Aronoff, who has played for many, including John Mellencamp during his peak period in the 1980's and early 1990's.
Aronoff knows how to play drums but sadly he's "overplaying" this tune. He should let the song breathe. He's also rushing thru the song. He could have kept the song simple and tight. Now he's all over the place. Perfect example of not playing the song but his instrument.
Drummer is ok but lacks the soul and guts of Doug Cliifford I think
Jesus, great performance!!! John is a timeless, immortal genius. Wow!! Probably their best song but least known in the catalog......
This one and extended version of

Who is the bearded guy? He's fab. They r all electric!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with his voice!! He sings without the rough edge, his voice has become smoother, but it sounds wonderful. He doesn't sound 67, he sounds 27. He is weathering very well. Lucky us!!!!
His guitar playing is better, too. I would have thought that was impossible but here it is!
The best CCR song
Far beyond Creedence's best song...it's one of the best songs of all time. Hard to find any song that is as original and rocks as hard as this one. Mega influential on a certain breed of guitarist.
This song most definitely influenced this guitarist. . .
It is in my top 3 of my greatest rock songs ever

I love being an adult in 2024

Doug is more professional
Yeah the drummer could pull it back just a little but he's awesome..
Is Aronoff actiually Keith Moon reincarnated?😆
@Electronic Adventures yes, but Doug was all the songs needed. Sometimes less is indeed more.

This Great song by CCR was released in my Home Place 🇦🇷 as B-side of "Molina" in a single on Liberty/EMI in 1971 📻🎸🎶👍
I wish John played those awesome slides up and down during the interlude. That part MAKES the song.
