Hi Mr. David i think we need to more listen Christopher Whalen in details regarding the topic and what was in world war 2 and now situation. His way of briefing is very straight forward.
Ah yes, an investment "guru" who doesn't consider the people that actually do the work so his clients get wealthier. Trickle Down Economics theory is garbage, trash. John Kenneth Galbraith TOLD Ronald Reagan this, but Reagan didn't want to listen and created a recession. This "theory" is all about the ultra-wealthy getting most of the money, the rest get what little is left over. "Supply side economics" is exactly the same thing. Wealth should begin at the bottom NOT the top 1%.
Christopher took your show down a peg when starting talking about the deficit, which in light of the subject of this video, is absurd. And if hes so concerned about deficits why would suggest lowering interests. Musk says he can cut 2 Trillion from the deficit ..that’s a fever dream, I know markets guys lack a good foundation in economics but just stay in your lane
The ongoing banking crisis is far from reaching a resolution. Those with more than a decade of experience understand that credit crises do not dissipate within a mere two weeks. It's amusing to witness some people believing that everything has already concluded so swiftly. I'm 62, and rising prices have derailed my retirement plans . I worry that today's economic conditions are more challenging than ever. The stock market's unpredictability, coupled with reduced income and soaring inflation, makes me anxious about having enough for retirement.
I've found working with a fiduciary has been invaluable in navigating market uncertainty. Their expertise in risk management and hedging has helped me grow my retirement savings significantly to almost a million. The system is failing as a result of both government and federal policy. In the next days, the banking crisis would have to be epic and gigantic for the FED to decide not to raise interest rates. This won't happen; an increase and a crash are coming. There will be more negative portfolios in early 1st half of 2025 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder
Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Melissa Terri Swayne for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.
Consider diversifying your portfolio with a mix of stocks and stable assets. Seeking professional advice now could provide valuable insights and strategies to navigate market uncertainties and protect your investments.
Accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.
It surprises me why everybody gets really worked up about recession and inflation data. Inflation has always existed, and people have been using investments to beat the inflation. The stock market return, for example, always beats inflation. I heard of someone who invested $121k last October, and has grown the portfolio by more than $400k. I need recommendations that can give me similar return.
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $124k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $480k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I just got an advisor and kept the money there, just because I didn't want to keep the value of the money depreciating in the bank. Tbh, it's the best investment decision I've made since then.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service?
Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Stacy Lynn Staples for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.

When everything is approaching ATH, whether there is a crash or not, it's time to start reducing fat and adding dry powder. I can't determine where the market is going based on the growth estimates of a seven-figure portfolio. Should I hang on or should I sell off assets to prevent the panic?
There are strategies capable of delivering consistent gains irrespective of economic or market conditions, but these are typically implemented by seasoned investment experts or financial advisors.
Such uncertainties are the reasons I don’t base my judgement on a ''heresay'' , 2020 had me holding trash stocks, but thankfully revamp my portfolio through the aid of a pro before seeing significant gains. To date, I've scaled up nearly 320% ROI. it's been 4 years and counting. I and my advisor are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal and we're not far.

Love the interviews with Chris Whelan and it never gets old. I'm hoping he starts talking about the tech sector I know a couple of companies that he likes but it would really hit a star point with me if I understood what he thought about the tech sector.
If American corporations, the military industrial complex and the US government weren’t so corrupt, then we wouldn’t need the banks and we wouldn’t need bitcoin so maybe self regulate a little better and try to control spending and corruption and then and then say no bitcoin but otherwise keep bitcoin.
University should be scholarship only and state colleges should be way less expensive. Predatory school lending and the government selling the American Dream without proper oversight of Sallie Mae, Navient, etc. is criminal. Without an understanding of how a debt based system screws the average American and corporations sending jobs oversees is also corrupt greed. Do not go to college or university if you have to take on debt to do it.
The defense budget was $850B roughly. The real heavy hitters are entitlements like Medicare Medicaid and healthcare. Just cutting defense won’t be enough. Entitlements gotta be cut too.
Healthcare can be cut a huge amount because the healthcare system is riddled with fraud, corruption and inefficiences. It is possible to improve the quality of healthcare while cutting the cost by 50%. RFK jr is going after the scientific fraud at the core of this inefficiency. Drugs that mask symptoms should go away.
The 10-year Treasury will NOT, by hook or by crook, be allowed to touch five percent. One reason is because too many people are looking for and expecting it to happen. So don't hold your breath.
Very doubtful that long term rates hit 5% when only the top 10% are benefitting from the financial bubble. The rest are struggling with higher costs. And the top .0001% are selling rather buying into the rally.
Interesting video and thought provoking content! At the close the guest touched on EV's. There is a lot of ignorance surrounding them because they're very new. The comparison is not just between the fuel sources, it's the parts and maintenance too. I've had two EV's now, over 10 years, after owning a hybrid. Over the long term ownership, the EV doesn't have a Transmission, Exhaust, oil, or require tune-ups. In addition, the distribution network is much better. The argument is always about the efficiency of fuel but I believe people who never had one understand the convenience. I fill my car at home. I never wake-up and have to get gas nor do I have to stop to fill up to make it home. I question what people do in apartments. There's a new complex near my home that added two chargers and I see Tesla's in the parking lot. I don't see them at the older complexes. But for a homeowner, I don't have a distribution network bringing gas to my home. My wife currently has a plug-in hybrid but the rest of my family has an EV (Except adult children). After having an oil change and recommended maintenance, my wife also wants her next car to be an EV. Good luck and keep up the great interviews!

25:18 FDIC has 1.58% of total deposits are you comfortable with that ? I am not. Besides the FED will probably come to the rescue and do bail-ins which means the money printer is going to go Burr which means inflation is going to go up which means gold is going to go up. It's going to be a great time
I watched in 2008 when gold and silver tanked like everything else. Gold hit $2050 in 2011 and would need to be $2938 just to be even with inflation. The gold and silver dealers are the people making money on metals. Gold is not a good investment, but as a hedge it might be worth having 10% of your investments in metals.
@jefferysurratt5650 I buy gold to preserve my wealth as long as there is inflation gold will keep going up. I got in when it was at 2000 so going up between 25 and 30% is a pretty good investment to me

Well Chris why not compensate the banks treasury loses by raising their mortgage loan book an extra 2% above where they "want it to be". Ooo that would reduce residual real-estate values and cause a revaluation of stocks. OK. Maybe it would come down to the long term average. Don’t keep more in the bank than you’re willing to lose…
Banks are fdic insured. If we get to the point the government can't pay that insurance, it won't matter where you keep your money.
@@trustmebrobrowhat they just did with SVB should scare you… they insured those depositors in full, when they were only supposed to insure them up to $250,000 each like everyone else. Effectively, they took money from the FDIC fund for people like you and me and gave to their pals at SVB. Also, it’s a unanimous vote by the FDIC board whether they bail out a banks depositors or not. There’s a video of Janet Yellen saying this to an Oklahoma State Senator. Not good…
@@joshuakelleher-bw5dgThey will bail out everyone and their dog. People are not gonna complain. That’s how they get people to accept huge inflation which allows the gov’t to soft default on the debt.

great show and guest thank you!
This man speaks so clearly 😎. Great interview. Most others are full of bs.
Love the interviews with Chris Whelan and it never gets old. I'm hoping he starts talking about the tech sector I know a couple of companies that he likes but it would really hit a star point with me if I understood what he thought about the tech sector.

I'm a fan of Whalen's idea of the US getting back into the gold buying business. Would love to hear him expound on that more fully.
I'm interested in investing, but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any advice or contacts who can help me out?
It is wise to seek professional guidance when building a strong financial portfolio due to its complexity
Talking to an expert like Bill Ackman to reshape your portfolio is a very smart move
The reality is that you can't do it without a tried and true person like Ackman.
Ackman distinctive strength is his pragmatic approach, setting him apart from other brokers who often set unrealistic goals and fail to deliver

If American corporations, the military industrial complex and the US government weren’t so corrupt, then we wouldn’t need the banks and we wouldn’t need bitcoin so maybe self regulate a little better and try to control spending and corruption and then and then say no bitcoin but otherwise keep bitcoin.

Awesome guest. He truly knows the banking crime scene.
13:06 Warren's been getting out of big banks with a nod that caused his whole body to rock back and forth and a big ole smile.
very good speaker !
29:55 Student loans WERE a private market and it worked fine. Until the government took over.
We have Obama and the Democrat house and senate to thank for that. Remember the interest on these student loans was to go toward offsetting Obama Care
Universities are gonna be in a world of hurt soon. They don't produce a product that is worth it.
I can't help but to believe the govt has always been in the student loan industry somehow given all of the state run universities in the U.S.
The defense budget was $850B roughly. The real heavy hitters are entitlements like Medicare Medicaid and healthcare. Just cutting defense won’t be enough. Entitlements gotta be cut too.
You understand when you say entitlements need to be cut, you're talking about stealing money from Americans, right?
850B declared. How much undeclared went thru the back door, ohh wait
Let's ask Biden.😮
Healthcare can be cut a huge amount because the healthcare system is riddled with fraud, corruption and inefficiences. It is possible to improve the quality of healthcare while cutting the cost by 50%. RFK jr is going after the scientific fraud at the core of this inefficiency. Drugs that mask symptoms should go away.
So true.
Medicare is not entitlement we pay Medicare tax for that!!! Welfare, food stamps, housing that's entitlement programs!!!!
NorvenAI is an absolute gem from your last video bro.
Hey David. Your back . I missed you from kitco . Lucky you came up on my feed . Suscribed

The 10-yr yield has been struggling to hang on to 4.5% the last two weeks, let alone 5%. As of this writing, it settled at 4.26% today.
Yeah, past performance not a guarantee of future performance
I think it hits minimum of 12% but probably closer to 18%. ❤
@bpb5541 man if that happened..I would dump all my savings into 10+ years treasury bonds.
That laugh after talking about some catastrophic event that could take place. 😂
Thanks for sharing XAI68Y and SUI. 💯

Is that bad in the long term or we have to live in this delusional state of overvalued assets?
