Can I ask where you get your dust mask/respirator with the mouth piece and nose clamp? Also with the type C metal, do you just calculate out how much catalyst and hardener to use each time you do a project? Can you thin the metal paint out and use it with an airbrush?

    • @usskullhunter
      @usskullhunter  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am pretty sure you could. I use it in a regular paint spayer and works great so I am pretty sure it would work for that too.

    Hello from England,
    The metal paint, can it be sprayed on?
    I found your channel and I’m looking forward to a bit of leave in February to get on with a collection of rams heads I have.
    Kind regards
    Kev

      I wouldn't think so, since there is metal fragments in there.

    Been checking out all your stuff over the last few days. Awesome work. I really appreciate the time you invest in documenting all these processes.
    Question, have you tried any other primers other than S.N's primer? Wondering if something out of a spray can would be suitable?
    Thanks again.

    • @usskullhunter
      @usskullhunter  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks again Jason! So yes, pretty much any good quality primer will work. I like to keep the same brand for the entire project but really any primer will do.

    What are you using to fill the nose holes into the skull?

    • @usskullhunter
      @usskullhunter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Could you clarify your question?

    • @smithicalbeast4454
      @smithicalbeast4454 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@usskullhunter gladly. At 13:48 it looks like you’ve blocked the nose canal (for lack of a better word) with something to sort of wall off the entry into the skull. Is there a specific way/product you use to do it? I’ve been leaving mine open and the way you’re doing it seems like a much cleaner look.

      Hey sorry for the delay. So that, haha, is a replica skull :) Hence why it looks like that. If you did want that look on a skull you could actually do it with apoxie sculpt fairly easy.

    Great video man!
    Couple questions:
    Have you used the gold coating and if so what patinas go well with it?
    Which color patinas look best in your opinion?

    • @usskullhunter
      @usskullhunter  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Shane! Sorry for the delay. SO I have not used the gold coating. As far as other patinas you can't go wrong with blue or Tiffany type patinas
