I think i need to figure out perfect grit for prep,my nails are thin..so i try and make sure my nails get a good etch but lately im not sure i am etching with a rouch enough file,just nervous to ruin my natural nail because they are already thin.
I totally know what you mean! Yes you should definitely buff it slowly until it’s matte at the top then you can stop to avoid overfilling. I get so scared for that part of the prep but I think if you clean it well enough with alcohol afterwards you should be ok
