bro als n Turk vertel ik je dat je de beste kofte kan maken met vlees van de ribben dus van shortribs ... reden van lam is om de vet gehaalte omhoog te brengen .. maar als je de kans hebt moet je vlees van de shortribs gebruiken er moet ongeveer 40 procent vet zijn... en turks is geen arabisch .. maar leuk om te zien dat je het probeert en ziet er ook best goed uit ..

Adding whipped egg whites makes good job too
A great idea. I've previously used pork mince (instead of lamb) and finely grated carrot (instead of onion) to get a similar result. Will try the lamb and onion combo next time as a comparison.

Those looked so good that I would've heated up a quart of marinara sauce and "gone to town". The onion thing is a winner (I do that when I grind my own leaner meats)
For no stick, in Romania we use a piece of smoked pork fat. Once is burned, is "old style teflon" non stick 😂

Alright, now ya went and done it. My Houston Nephew, being of Greek heritage, says you need a permit, a license and a visa to make meatballs - he says even though you are Swedish you are not allowed to make meatballs. I tried to explain to him that the Netherlands and Sweden are not the same, but being American he cannot grasp the geography of “the European area,” as he refers to it. He will send you his Greek great-grandmother’s recipe when he gets it translated……. (BTW, that really is a recipe very close to his Greek great-grandmother’s recipe (my Grandmother), or yiayia, as they call grandmas in Greek……)

Kefte we call it in Greece when we don't use lamp when we put lamp we call it kebab. Try to put some fresh shredded tomato and you will eat the most juicy meat balls ever
Do you also add tomato for the kefte you make in tomato sauce? Or do you leave out tomato in the meat?
You did grill the meatballs like Japanese, although we normally take the charcoal tray out and put it on the table to grill meat.
