- Yes! Yes! I finally managed to finish this~
To find it finished is a success of a dream. Ever since I watched the movie and listened to this song, I know that they will fit too well together, especially when it focused much more to the main character, General Gregorio "Goyo" del Pilar. (See below for more information about him). I'll say that my commitment to finish this project made it only a few days to be finished.

The movie focused about the last five months of Gen. Gregorio del Pilar before he met his untimely death at the Battle of Tirad Pass. The movie may have stripped down the hero to a human with flaws than the heralded hero among the clouds.

About General Gregorio "Goyo" del Pilar
Gregorio del Pilar, much known as "Goyo", born on 14 November 1875, was one of the young generals of the Philippine Revolutionary Army who've fought against the Spaniards during KKK's Revolution and the Americans during the Philippine-American War. Being a general at the age of 23, Goyo's baptism of fire was during Kakarong de Sili where he was grazed by a Mauser bullet on the forehead at the latter end of 1896 and start of 1897. His success as a courageous leader landed him a spot among President Emilio Aguinaldo's inner circle, that he brought Goyo with him during his exile in Hong Kong. On his return to the Philippines, he liberated his home province of Bulacan against the Spaniards. At the spark of the Philippine-American War, he fought hardly against after the failed Schursman Commission of peace talks. He died on 2 December 1899, at the age of 24 years old, during his Last Stand at Tirad Pass with 60 men, acting as Aguinaldo's rearguard against the Americans chasing after them. He was part of the 52 casualties at the side of the Filipinos in the battle commonly referred as the "Philippine Thermopylae."

Imagine if general gregorio del pilar didnt died in tirad pass maybe he had a chance to realize what manuel said to him...He has the chance to realize na naging sunod sunuran siya nang presidente and nakipaglaban siya sa tirad pass for the country pero hindi niya na realize na nakipaglaban siya for the president's sake .
Well yeah, if only General Gregorio del Pilar didn't died in the Battle of Tirad Pass, he could've done better. At kung na-realize lang niya na naging sunud-sunuran siya at natauhan, hindi sana siya tinatawag ngayon na aso. Imagine, before he swore loyalty to Aguinaldo, he was hailed as the bravest and the most patriotic among the heroes. Also, baka mas naging maganda sana yung kasaysayan natin.

Parang may bias yung pagkakaportray nila Kay Luna ang image ni Luna parang unstoppable na wala Kang makikitang mali ngunit Yung pagakaka portray nila Kay gregorio napakalayo sa totoo. Galing mismo sa history na Hindi basta basta na heneral si Gregorio Del Pilar. They made Gregorio in the movie more like a lame general or young person who is inexperience but the reality or history of Gregorio is different. He achieved a lot of merit that is almost impossible for his age that even Luna in his young age will probably been impossible to achieve. Gregorio Del Pilar will probably been more better general than Luna if he didn't die early and reach the age of Luna in his peak with lot of experience in battle. They even made his image bad to some Filipino's with the fiction 'Tahol' goyo scene. Yup they made Luna look good while they made Gregorio Del Pilar image bad that he is just a follower of the leader of the country instead of Patriotic general who will die for his country which is the reality. The goyo ang batang heneral movie is more on fiction rather than reality or historical events. I wish they will make or remade the goyo movie that will be more on real/historical events rather than fiction or chismis.

Goyo should have won the battle of tirad pass if he wasn't shot in the back of his head and allegedly a Filipino helped the sniper to have a good spot so they could shot goyo without him knowing. Goyo won several battles despite of his young age surpassing other generals in his time . He was on the frontline to protect Emilio Aguinaldo and the Republic of the Philippines so they could take time to escaped from the hands of the Americans. Though they didn't won the battle in Tirad pass Goyo and his men are considered to won in battle strategy as the battle takes place in a extensively difficult mountain where americans are not fond of. Goyo, KKK, Gen Antonio Luna and other Filipinos who fought during wars are the greatest example of "Ang mamatay ng dahil sayo" they all died to protect this country despite of having limited ammunition and tools. Unlike now, almost most of young Filipinos are afraid to undergo ROTC or mandatory service in Military. Afraid to go to war because we don't have enough power.
