Bowser phone and Shop phone are back but nerfted: Bowser Phone targets random opponent instead of your choice. Shop Phone makes it so that you can only buy from Koopa Shop and not Kamek one. But they do have cute animations so that kinda balances it out
Nah dude, the Cellular Shopper is significantly buffed from MP3: in MP3 you also could only call only one shop, the Toad shop, and you could only chose between a smaller selection of items in comparison to the actual shop, while in Jamboree you can chose between the full item selection of the Koopa Troopa shop

I’d say this “nerf” has made the Bowser Phone more risky to use. In Mario Party 3 it was easy; send an opponent to Bowser to potentially screw them over or, if you had no stars or coins, you could send yourself to Bowser and get some money. This game though, someone gets screwed over, you won’t know who, but Bowser WILL ruin someone’s day. The question is are you brave enough to call the beast, knowing that it may screw with you?

Not true, in MPDS, if you landed on your own trap (except for the Coin and Star Block traps, those functioned as normal), you got 5 coins and the trap was deactivated.
My God, why does this game move to slow?! It feels like every time they do anything, they need to drag it out with animations and jingles that take like 5 years to finish. It's completely pointless and just kills the pacing of the game!
There were never this many items in a Mario Party game, Jamboree delivers imo
