I took Econometrics at a prestigious private university and got a C-, which meant that I had to retake. I sat in on the summer cause before retaking the following fall. Even after taking, auditing, and retaking, I'm actually learning more from Ben versus simply mimicking what the professor was doing with no idea what it actually means. Well done.

I assume it will be coming later, but the distinction between DGP and populations sounds interesting and I'd like to know more about the motivating reasoning for it. Why would it be necessary, if thinking about panel or time series data, that if you were thinking in terms of populations, you would get into thorny issues regarding infinity?
