@@ssnived No it is Not! Conquer is the same word for vanquish or defeat. In the old times it means to occupy another area or country. So I don't think it's the right word to say to respect the nature..

But it's still not a good word for using to nature because the word "Conquer" it self can be mean defeat, overcome, overthrow, reduce, subdue, and vanquish or to gain or acquire by force of arms. Instead of using the word conquer you can use accomplish or achievement. It shows more respect and humbleness to the nature.

The word of conquer is to arrogant for a human being to say to mother nature. Maybe you can use another word instead of conquer.
I think conquer was used in a way that respects the climb but also acknowledges mother nature and its beauty.
