I always appreciate you and Bugsy braving the elements in order to bring us an 'in depth outside news broadcast about Spurs'. That's why your subscription numbers continue to grow mate, mutual appreciation between you and your viewers and never any direct confrontation from yourself with anyone (unlike quite a few other channels). It's the secret of success and you've cracked it !
Alfie Devine has been brought into Argyle as a direct replacement for Finn Azaz (Aston Villa loanee) who has gone to Middlesbrough on loan. Ian Foster the Argyle manager is the ex England U20 coach and is great at developing young players. It's a great deal for both Phillips and Devine, Argyle and Spurs.
Big up Sean, I was halfway through the first one this morning and it cut off!!😂😂 Feel really sorry for Port Vale as Alfie will be a big loss to them, but if they think Plymouth is a better option for him and his development, then who am I to judge!!
Club Brugge fan here, he has a lot of potential but he has to work on his goals + assists. Don't expect too much from him. He is only 18 and a wonderful prospect. But it is not a 18 year old Mbappe.
Totally agree, there is no need to hurry any permanent selection, at top money, when there are sure to be "bargains" in the summer and prospective changes to the financial rules on the horizon.
Think I've watched about 500 episodes now and never seen Sean pick up after Bugsy......... Anyway loving the quality of the content and loving life as a Spurs fan right now so long may it continue!!! COYS!
If you only knew how many takes there have been in the 500 uploads because of stopping to pick up after bugsy lol.. Very occasionally it gets missed but 99% of the time we have taken care of the issue before the final take!
Great analysis as always and Nottingham Forest's defence doesn't hold water as they couldn't have known that there would have been a bid from Spurs nor the amount that was bid
Good move for devine. Gets to show what he can do in the championship. Get either get a better loan next season or be a part of the squad. Needs game time at the moment.
I've just seen this about nusa and what I've read he has a bright future, much like udogie, vdv and veliz. I day we should do what we can to get him. Neil from Wales
Thanks Sean. Personally I think Spurs have finished their transfer business for now unless a special opportunity comes along. Sonny has a couple of years in him yet!
We need a good striker, proven in a top league and even playing in European competition, not some kids from second hand leagues.Instead of buying a 15-30 mill in winter, wait until summer, and spend big, 60+ mill, that is if we want to compete at the highest level, if not, we will stay in 3rd-6th position like we always do. That also is the case for our wingers.
@streetjimmy1920 why do we have to go to the extremes of each spectrum? What's wrong with doing good scouting to find good players, regardless of the price tag? We've been burned so many times spending big money.
@@DjNasteI agree, but scouting in leagues below Championship levels doesn't sound like a club with ambition would do. Why are so many obsessing over name we are linked to ? Gift orban is dreadful this season, but you lot still want him. You only hear their names and already act as if you watch every game they played. Why we want Jota when Solomon is about the same level? Why want a kid from Belgian league but no go for Napoli's left winger Kzavarshelia? Tottenham has a history of selling big players to buy 5-6 that 'look promising ' and wonder why we don't win anything.
@@streetjimmy1920 why are you addressing me like I am a spokesperson for some group of people? I'm a singular person, not an angry mop of pitchforks coming to get you for disagreeing with your ideas. Nothing I said had anything to do with anything you've just ranted about.
Interesting video as always Sean - many thanks. When I met you briefly outside the City Ground, I urged you to teach Henry how to pronounce "Bundesliga"; it's worked, job done. Next mission: please can both of you learn how to pronounce "Augsburg"; the "Au" is pronounced "ow" as in how, cow or now. It isn't "Orgsburg"!
You may well be right, but what concerns me is the very real possibility that Spurs might keep Sonny at 35+ as a regular starter for commercial rather than football reasons. It would take an exceptionally shrewd owner to avoid making this mistake, and I'm not convinced we have one.... @@sof5930
Would rather keep hojbjerg untill the summer replace his position with alfie divine and use the money else where we have enough 1st team cm at the moment if we keep gio lo celso
Totally Agree with you Sean: Only Neto from Wolves I would take or Lorenzo Chiesa from Juve. Impact players. Time to up the ambition. If you want youth. Go to the academy where you can see who are ready and if not move them out. Buying in the same age group as the academy is nullifying any progress. That is why we have about 5 right now on our hands that are not progressing to hold down a spot on the first team.
WHERE WOULD PHILLIPS GET A RUN OF GAMES AT TOTTENHAM? WE HAVE, BENTANCUR, MADDISON, SARR, BISSOUMA, HOJBJERG, KULU, JOHNSON, WERNER ,SON GIL, SOLOMAN, LO CELSO,
If Everton had had those 10 points deducted last season they would have been relegated, a point that Everton fans seem to have quietly forgotten about. And they also complained about the withdrawal of the funding from Alisher Usmanov who is sanctioned by the UK as he is “not deemed conducive to the public good” so not a savoury character. Everton FC have only got themselves to blame IMHO, terrible way to run a club.
The two clubs that have been done for breaking the rules managed to swindle us to massively overpay on players from their clubs. I don't see Gallagher happening. It's a smokescreen. I would go after Branthwaite, Hackney, Gimenez and an elite winger in summer. Will cost us around 150m.
I cannot understand why we haven't gotten Jota in on loan, he''ll score you goals and create assists. He's got brilliant technical feet, he's highly intelligent in the final third unlike Kulu, Johnson, Gil and Werner. We need to slowly get out players like Gil, Werner will leave in the summer and then we can bring in players like Nusa, Jota or Bakayoko of PSV. Maybe Akturkoglu of Galatasaray. All these players like Solomon, are very tricky being technical players that can cut inside or go round the outside. Johnson and Kulu are just headless chickens for the most part and they're not goal scorers. We got rid of Lucas only to bring Jonson and Werner in so where is the sense in that? Gil as much as I like him, should have been sold last year.
@@Longeezy Yeah, nothing against him as a person, I like him, he's got great character and hopefully Ange can fine tune him once more. It's just that Jota gets far more goals and assists, he's a much more composed technical player on the ball in the final third. I just think there are better options out there. And now is our chance to win the league but I'm seeing Levy is hindering us again. Bring in top quality now and we won't need to sign to many players in the summer. Next season we'll have european football but now we don't. We have a slight advantage and a great manager so why not back him fully now?
I say sign nusa and loan him to someone like Brighton for a year or soas they have been successful with neutering young talant when we're ready to move sonny on bring him in with a year or 2 of Premier league expirance
Antonio Nusa is a special one

Good to see Devine getting to move up a league. Plymouth still have plenty of games against high flyers like Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds etc.
Alfie Devine has been brought into Argyle as a direct replacement for Finn Azaz (Aston Villa loanee) who has gone to Middlesbrough on loan.

@@lesliecrawford783 I'm no expert but I will do my best!
Foster was the manager in charge when the U19s won the Euros in 2022.
Great episode, Shaun! Thank you for providing timestamps (chapters) for the video, this is really helpful.
I couldn't agree more! I've echoed this point of view for some time. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Plymouth can make the play-offs. That would be the experience you want young players to have.
Big up Sean, I was halfway through the first one this morning and it cut off!!😂😂 Feel really sorry for Port Vale as Alfie will be a big loss to them, but if they think Plymouth is a better option for him and his development, then who am I to judge!!
Antonio NUSA looks really good. He can actually weave past players and shoot well!

Imagine Norway front four is Haaland, Nusa, Bobb and Ødegaard. And we are still shit.
Few more defensive talents and you have a great future
Joao gomes from wolves fine player for spurs
Sean you speak so much sense
Morning morning morning!! Big up mate
I felt the same about Salha when we played Basel. Nervous every time he got the ball and ran at us. No Idea why we didn't bid for him back then.
Devine and Phillips at Plymouth is good thing I hope when next season comes they are both part of our first team squad.
Jonathon Rowe at Norwich looks a real prospect - 2 footed & can play anywhere across the front - he would be a definite upgrade on Johnson & Solomon ?
Makes me smirk when Sean says he'll put the stats on the screen for us and it's just tumbleweeds
sorry i forgot to add! had all sorts of trouble with the upload today
Gotta be loan deals with option to buy though. Otherwise clubs just hold you to ransom.
I did like tang I jus feel like he’s too soft . Would love to see Devine given a run as a sub in the team #coys

I’d love John McGuinn at Spurs, is Connor G as good or better than him? But we are going to have to start looking at the youth team..

Sean, Sonny is NOT ‘getting on’! He’s peaking… the age limit for players has drastically increased. He’ll play til 35 at keast
Most likely, he'll be in Saudi or MLS at 35.

Not sure why we are still after Gallagher when we can get players like Vermeeren or Jao Gomes for less
Will be due to the English quota as to why we are linked to Gallagher
