She was injured for a long time. She fell to like 200. She plays in my club so I know, and Im pretty sure that she plays mixed doubles with Federer now.

Why do these Eastern European players get driven to play tennis by their parents?
What else are they gonna do? It's poor over there... only way out of poverty.
They do the same in america with football,baseball,basketball,hockey, almost all the professionals started playing as soon as they can walk.

jamariquoi2 Swtzerland isnt a poor country. I was in the poorest parts of Switzerland and it is nicer than the richest parts of Slovakia. My dad has a friend from there. Hes getting a great salary.

Hans Imhof she was injured for the last two years! She started training not a long time ago. Shes back now and her ranking is going up fast. Dont worry, she will make it.

This girl has it all I think- she has size, power, well coached, smart, with
a tremendous desire to win. Because of all the money in the women's
game today ( unlike 20 years ago)- it may take some time for Belinda.
My gut feeling is she could become the next dominant player- like that
of Steffi Graff.
Her likely rivals will be Madison Keys, Eugenie Bouchard, or Garbine
Muguruza. With Bouchard being distracted with the glamor industry, and
the money and fame that comes along with it-she may fade fast.( just like
Anna Kournikova) Unfortunately I think this will happen, although she has
the talent to win.
One of these above girls will for sure win grand slams ( quite a few) and
it's my gut feel that Belinda Bencic will become the next dominant player.
I wish her all the luck-she seems like a real sweetheart, and cute as well.
