Thank You for your previous replies. I would like to know IF I could either get a copy of the 3D file you used to make the motor bracket OR can I get one from you. Also what is the gear ratio of the little motor unit you use.

what do you use to make this

I was actually just thinking about making an R/C sub and thought if the same thing. Everyone online has these crazy ideas... you seem to think the same as me. Have a sub that is weighed down that is just the tinest but positivly buoyant with the syringe closed, suck up water to submerge, squirt it out of the model to surface.

Would you be kind enough to tell me what kind of motor and gear box you are using. I am an electrical designer by occupation, and have a ton of 3d design and printing experiance, but this will be my first attept at anything this large of an operation. I only have dealt with steering and forward and reverse on cars, how do you have it limit the travel so you do not strip the gears.

I was wondering where you purchased all these components and where I may be able to get them, for example the motors the syringe and I’m assuming that the gears were hand made or 3D printed

I bought everything except syringes at a Chinese shopping mall called aliexpress. The syringe was purchased from a local pharmacy.

This is a test version. The piston ballast was created with the limit switch added. th-cam.com/video/9s_EiS0xeeA/w-d-xo.html

Very clever , but it takes in not enough water to be of use . The total weight of water that is sucked up into the syringe . Would the total weight of the model submarine on the surface , the reserve buoyancy . Which would mean your model would have to be very light . If the model is heavier then this it would never surface !

Use weights to adjust the neutral force.
Use ballast. There's no problem with diving and rising.
But the ballast capacity is small.
      Diving and rising...A short moment...
It will require fine finger control over the radio.
