Thank you! I definitely recommend listening more songs with Tarja😁
A song called Slaying the Dreamer from this same concert, End of an Era, is a really good song.
Also if you are interested, definitely check out Tarja's solo career. She has become very versatile, not only as a singer, but as a song writer.
A song called Innocence is one of her most famous ones. The live version from Circus Life (2020) is a really cool performance.

The contrast of Tarja's rich dark classical vocals and Marko's rough metal vocals created such magic!!! Try their song "Slaying the Dreamer" from this same concert

Best version of this song, ever! You pronounce Tarja perfectly, by the way! Greetings from Finland.

if you really want hard dark spell-binding Tarja (and Marko too) with Nightwish:
(even some rocking on invisible guitar, head windmills, and etc theatrics too)
(remember, the concerts/albums/covers must be BEFORE 2006, for Tarja's performances)
    (not ranked, just listed)
    1. Slaying the Dreamer
    2. Planet Hell
    3. Wishmaster
    4. Kinslayer
    5. Ghost Love Score
    6. The Siren
    7. End of All Hope
    8. Dead to the World
    9. 10th Man Down
    ---------------
    Nightwish's 3 singers:
    1. Tarja (original singer): 1995 to 2005
    2. Annette: 2006 to 2012
    3. Floor (current singer): 2013 to 2020+
everyone knows Floor, she's super popular with everyone, especially right now, and is a really good singer, having a huge variety of singing capability (pop, classical/opera, belting, growling/raspy), able to sing nightwish's old songs that were for Tarja's classical/opera singing, as well as new songs for her own variety/range of singing abilities
Unfortunately for Annette, she's a pop/rock singer, and a very good singer too, but her pop/rock singing just didn't go that well with nightwish's music, which was made for Tarja's dark classical/opera singing. So, usually, she gets left out.
so, it comes down to "Targasm” (Tarja) vs “Floorgasm” (Floor) in terms of the Nightwish singers in who you like most, if you like classical/opera singing better, Tarja is better at it, but that's all she does back when with nightwish, as nightwish was created for tarja's unique dark operatic singing/voice, (now with her own band, or solo, she does a greater range of singing), but she does it really well, she's really got a beautiful voice, if you like more pop singing, belting and growling/raspy, with or without classical/opera singing, than you like Floor better
I knew nightwish from the early 2000s, so Nightwish will always be with Tarja, but Nightwish with Floor is really good too, but it's Tarja, who's my favorite singer with nightwish
(many others will help you out with Floor's songs, so I'll just stick to Tarja's songs here)
    ----------
if you do like Tarja with nightwish, here's some good ones:
(just make sure the song performances are before 2006, else it's not tarja who is singing)
    (NOT ranked, just listed)
    1. End of an Era (her last concert with nightwish, hard to find good quality and the entire concert, as it gets taken down)
    2. Phantom of the Opera (her duet with Marco, really good, both of them together, this song was actually used in the Phantom of the Opera remake movie in 2004)
    3. Wishmaster
    4. Planet Hell (marco sings in this song as well)
    5. End of All Hope
    6. Dead Boy's Poem
    7. Nemo (watch the official music video and also her live performance of it)
    8. Kinslayer
    9. she is my sin
    10. wish I had an angel
    11. slaying the dreamer
    12. the siren
    13. dead to the world
    14. 10th man down
    15. walking in the air
    16. ghost love score
    17. dark chest of wonders
    18. bless the child
    and many more too
    ------
this is about the 'phantom of the opera' with tarja nightwish, but it applies to tarja for all other NW songs too:
Tarja has her own stage performance/presence, but the focus is on the entire band (much more respectful), unlike with floor, where the focus is almost entirely on her, and also, Phantom of the Opera isn't about that much showmanship, so you're not seeing more of Tarja's performance/presence (love how the camera work and Tarja worked together, with her ducking down, seeing Marcus as he delivered his singing, and then Tarja stands back up, seeing her face back in the camera as Marco's part ends and hers begins again, Tarja is really such a team player, as she could have had all the focus upon herself, like Floor gets, but instead she chooses to give the entire band the respect and focus that they too deserve, it's not all about Tarja, like it is with Floor, despite how good Tarja is and thus how she could be the entire focus with nightwish, as is Floor with nightwish)
there's other songs, where Tarja was way way way more stage performance/presence/showmanship, including hair windmills, rocking an invisible guitar along with empuu rocking his guitar, along with her doing her squatting too as she sings and taps her foot/leg to it, as she's swinging those hips too, along with her getting the crowd involved as well too, and etc stuff, you got to watch way more songs, to really see her amazing stage presence/performance and showmanship, as Phantom of the Opera is likely the one song with the least of that stuff, due to the nature of the song itself, being about their singing (contrasting and then cacophonous harmonous duet, nothing can compete with Tarja and Marco voices duet'ing), though Marco and Tarja had a bit of showmanship and fun snuck into it, with Marco pointing to his face and Tarja's facial expression reactions, while both song their parts

Hey there, mate! Tarja and NightWish huge, long-time fan/addict here! lol. I just came across your channel and I'm thoroughly enjoying your NW reactions, eager for more! 🤘lol You've got a new subscriber right here and lots of thumbs up! Thank you for this reaction btw, Ioved it! Theirs imo is the ultimate version of The Phantom of the Opera (which btw is from the same-name musical by Andrew L. Webber), and this whole 'End of an Era' concert is pure gold, it happened in 2005 and was the very last time she and NW performed together before their dramatic breakup. Plus a curious fact: she was very sick with a severe throat infection during this iconic End of an Era concert. She didn't even know if she'd be able to sing that night, yet she did it marvellously! So if this is not the best she can do, just you imagine how damn incredible she is at her best!😍Remember this everytime you react again to a song from this concert, which I hope you do lol. Well, I love Tarja, I love NW with Tarja, and I simply love NW in all lineups, with all 3 lead vocalists they had, for they're such an epic, extraordinary, legendary band, as you surely know already. I'm guessing you're already familiar with some of their history and lore, so I'll mostly skip that part and focus on the Music
I'm glad to see so many people on YT reacting to them and thus coming to know their music this way!🤘🖤 I mean, you witnessed it, through their Music they've created such magnificent otherworldly realm!!! Pure magic, regardless of who's the singer they're working with! So please continue in the path of this fantanstic musical journey with them, from all eras (which are usually associated with the 3 female main singers they had, hence roughly 3 different eras: Tarja first, from 1996 to 2005, she was co-founder of the band (after that she's been on the road of a long, very successful solo career); then Anette Olzon from 2007 to 2012; and now Floor Jansen since 2013), only then you'll have a full scope of their lore, history, evolution and Art. I enjoy NW's music from all eras because they're an incredible band no matter what, and although I'm a huge Tarja fan (or Tarjaholic, as some would call us lol, and think she's very unique and brought NW to a whole new level combining her stunning dark, absolutely beautiful and powerful operatic vocals with Tuomas' genius - the rich, warm tone of her voice I must say is rare and uncommon even into the classical music world), I love, respect, support and appreciate all their singers as the equally great, amazingly talented musicians they are in their own different ways and rights - that's a fact only the blind don't see, all else is just a matter of personal taste and preference imo. Each of them brought special, individual elements to the band that helped them grow, mature and develop their artistic identity. As a fan, I strongly believe we are blessed to have witnessed 3 amazing talented ladies fronting NW and should just enjoy the gift the whole band (all members, past and present) deliver us with their timeless Art, and I think we should feel grateful and honored for that, regardless of our personal preferences.
That said, I hope you're taking suggestions from the comment sections for I have plenty lol. So if that's alright I'd like to drop down my recommendations list from NW in Tarja's era, since from what I've seen you've reacted more often to NW with the amazing Floor with songs that I generally recommend from her era, plus I'm more of an "old school Nightwisher" (although I absolutely LOVE them in all eras!💘), moreover I don't want to make this comment any longer than it will already be lol. So, without further ado, back to the list ('tis not in chronological order or anything, and I tried to make a selection as short as I could, really difficult to choose from their vast, outstanding repertoire lol, but there's so much more to explore as you go):
    1. th-cam.com/video/YODCM26JXOY/w-d-xo.html . "Ghost Love Score", song from their 2004 album "Once", performed in the iconic "End of an Era" show. This is one of their greatest masterpieces of all times! Floor also sings this one differently but beautifully🖤 and I love both, I just personally love the way Tarja sings it, I feel like she deeply understands the crucial importance of the instrumentals (especially the epic orchestral arrangement and choir), and the unspoken soul of the song, so she doesn't sing it like it was all about her voice and it's clearly intentional; if you listen closely sometimes she even seems to use her voice like an instrument, often blending her sound at the end of some phrases with the orchestra's (which in Floor's version was made lower probably to match her style better), becoming one living soul with the music. It's just so perfect imo!
    2. th-cam.com/video/LAoUWU4Opto/w-d-xo.html . "Bless the Child", live at Raumanmeri in 2003, song from the 2002 album "Century Child". Another brilliant song and performance! If you wish, there's also the official video for this song, quite beautiful and breathtaking.
    3. th-cam.com/video/LUy8T_3kieI/w-d-xo.html . "The Siren", another iconic "must listen" masterpiece, also from "Once" and performed in the End of an Era DVD. Tarja becomes The Siren here, mesmerizing! And 'tis interesting how she uses different layers of her singing she rarely did while with NW, apart from ramarkable dark operatic vocals: she uses a soft, drawing, mystic almost ethereal voice, and also a sort of arabic/gypsy chanting style! Really beautiful, mystical and enthralling imo!
    4. th-cam.com/video/lZgkxgkH6I8/w-d-xo.html . "Planet Hell", also from "End of an Era" dvd (song originally from "Once" as well). Heavy! Tarja & Marko!😍 They rock so freaking amazing together!🤘
    5. th-cam.com/video/VSMCD39EIMc/w-d-xo.html . "Kuolema tekee taiteilijan", also from "End of an Era" dvd and ine more track from "Once". I put this ballad because it's simply beautiful and so very touching (plus, it's in finnish, their native language, and I love it!) The translation of the title is something like "Death makes an artist"
    6. th-cam.com/video/J7N8MekeH20/w-d-xo.html . "Wishmaster", also live from "End of an Era", but song from their "Wishmaster" 2000 album. Great performance of another iconic song!
    7. th-cam.com/video/JYVl6MOZXIs/w-d-xo.html . This is "Swanheart", live performance from 2001 dvd "From wishes to Eternity". The song is originally from their 1998 album "Oceanborn". This is gold, one of their most beautiful ballads ever! If you wish there's also this 2013 version from Tarja's solo career: th-cam.com/video/TvFVdET3ng4/w-d-xo.html in which she performs with an orchestra and choir, beautiful arrangement and her vocals are so thrilling and emotional! She's obviously much more mature here.
    8. th-cam.com/video/tFSqaLKXzwY/w-d-xo.html . "Slaying the Dreamer", live from End of an Era DVD but the song released in their 2002 "Century Child". Heavy, bombastic, mindblowing, phenomenal!! She puts a bit of "belting" effect in her voice here, plus she and all of them headbanging so hard gets me excited and headbaging along 🤘 And Marko is wild!
    9. th-cam.com/video/E_RRMRXJWxI/w-d-xo.html . "Sleeping Sun", live from End of an Era. Such an Iconic ballad, truly beautiful, astounding!
    10. th-cam.com/video/0QtdQQne2Ts/w-d-xo.html . "Passion and the Opera", this one is actually performed in Tarja's solo career, 'twas in 2007 (therefore after her departure from the band), but the song is from NW's 1998 album "Oceanborn". I don't think they ever performed this live together, neither did the other singers as far as I know. Anyway it's sooo amazing!!! In this song Tuomas seems to make "subtle" musical mentions of Mozart's "Queen of the Night" aria, from his opera "The Magic Flute". Love this and Tarja is gorgeous, showcases much of her vocal skills and powerful energy on stage!
    11. th-cam.com/video/eJEJ6kcyss4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mtWOKwNMKmJb7Xl- . "Beauty Of the Beast", from their 2002 album Century Child; link to a lyric video 'cause I couldn't find a good live recording, but this song is simply beautiful, breathtaking, one of their first symphonic rock "grand pieces" and a treasure that I think shouldn't be left to be fallen into oblivion as it is more often than not.
    12. th-cam.com/video/ROdKrGVVuI8/w-d-xo.html . "Dark Chest of Wonders", from their "Once" album and performance from "End of an Era" too, the openning title of the concert. Brilliant, heavy yet flowing like a river!
    13. th-cam.com/video/lI2WRR8lXgE/w-d-xo.html . "Ever Dream", another iconic, great song from "Century Child", also performed in End of an Era. Floor also sings this one just as beautifully.
    14. th-cam.com/video/GG8UNbI2KM4/w-d-xo.html . "10th Man Down", from 2001 EP "Over the Hills and Far Away", and performance is live at the Summer Breeze Fest in 2002. Baby NW and they're already grand!
    15. th-cam.com/video/k2g-I-uNR1s/w-d-xo.html . "Wanderlust", from their "Wishmaster", quite an early performance, their baby faces 😍. Simply amazing, some melodic power metal vibes!
All of those are live versions because they're simply amazing and I love usually even more than their studio stuff, but there are tracks that they never or rarely play live, so 'twould be wise too I think, to keep digging into some of their studio material.
Also, as I mentioned earlier, Tarja's been on the road of long and stunning solo career, so I'd like to recommend songs from her too in the next comment, her work is unlike anything else and definitely deserves more attention, it's creative and overall mindblowing, plus 'tis inspiring how she's constantly growing and improving herself as an artist and a person, and only in her solo career you truly get to know her artistry! I hope you're willing to take this fantastic musical journey delivered to the world by these phenomenal artists, it's so worth it!

Tarja's Music is another epic, life-changing journey, as much as NW's, so I'd like to encourage you to react to her besides continuing your NW reactions. I mean, her solo career is golden, full of treasures to find out, and since after her departure from NW back in 2005 she's clearly much happier and finally free to be fully herself, you know, without the "shackles"... and ever growing and maturing vocally and artistically through the years. She's simply a fantastic, hard working, super talented and phenomenal artist who's sometimes a bit underrated by some unfortunately, a remarkably beautiful soul too! Such an amazing artist, so creative, expressive, she plays the piano (since she was 6 actually), became a noteworthy songwriter/composer (yes, most of her songs are written and composed by herself), and a producer, collaborator... And a powerful, captivating performer; I love her stage presence and energy too, she always gives all of herself and owns the stage. She's truly one of a kind! I got to see her live a few years ago and man!, what a mesmerizing voice and enthralling presence! She draws in every person in the audience always, and controls the crowd without having to say a word, almost like she's casting a spell, as if she's perpetually connected in an almost spiritual level, we feel that and she does too, and knows how to use it! The videos can capture a glimpse of that power, but seeing her live... it's an entirely different experience! She's much more energetic on stage now solo than while with NW🤘❤, yet she managed to keep that same majestic aura and otherworldly presence! And at the same time with a distinctly dramatic expression and deep, emotional human renditions! And I don't know how to explain it, but I get this feel from her, in her solo career too and particularly with NW, this sort of vibe of like a dark sorceress warrior, Morrighan-like bewitching powerful entity or something lol
Therefore imo, one cannot hope to truly know Tarja as an artist without diving into her astonishing solo work too. She's such an inspiration to me, her voice and renditions give me deep, spiritually magical Eargasms💘A-hem... Sorry about that😜. I just Love her so much! Her heavenly voice and work speak deeply to my soul. Anyway, her solo musical rock/metal style (apart from her classical music and xtmas concerts, and other "out of the box" side projects of hers) is very unique and not easily defined, though it still has plenty of the symphonic metal elements as guidelines such as some kinds of guitar riffs, epic orchestral arrangements, dramatic theatrical "ingredients" and her remarkably dark, powerful operatic vocals (though now she mixes a bit her classical singing tecnique with a few more "contemporary" styles and her strong chest voice in a very singular, non mainstream way). Her solo work is much more versatile, she incorporates and merges aspects of different stylistic elements, and is always experimenting new things in her music without any fear of exploring the unusual, so you never really know what to expect or what she'll do next, AND I find it magnificent, exciting!!! Plus, I love the fact that she walked her own path and found her "artist self", the ways to translate her soul into this world through her Art, and I absolutely LOVE the results of her choices, I hope you like it too. So, without further ado, back to the list (also just a small selction, many more hidden gems for you to find out yet):
      1. th-cam.com/video/6T-Wyw9lYyM/w-d-xo.html . Song "In for a kill". Album "What lies Beneath" (2010). Performance from her 2012 first live-album "Act I". Bombastic! Hear the lion within her roar!🤘
      2. th-cam.com/video/K3QmQN7VSNI/w-d-xo.html . This is also from Act I, a kind of mixed version of two of her ballad songs ("Oasis" and "The archive of lost dreams"). Here she sings while playing a grand piano, showing some dramatic nuances of her expression and voice, sort of "gothic vibes". She delivers such a touching, emotional performance! It brings tears to my eyes! It's sort of a "forgotten" treasure!😍
      3. th-cam.com/video/jxqodwLVdcU/w-d-xo.html . "Love to Hate", this song is part of her 2016 album "The Shadow Self" and the performance recorded in 2018 for her live-album Act II, at London's Metropolis Studio, a more intimate setting, which makes it even more special. Outstanding, breathtaking performance, one of my favorites! Plus, the song has an unusual structure, which is awesome.
      4. th-cam.com/video/tv4XWkTWQ0M/w-d-xo.html . "Undertaker", also live for Act II, and another track from "The Shadow Self". So epic and Incredible! You'll love this one, her energy is amazing and the song is epic!
      5. th-cam.com/video/UGkbQj8e6JI/w-d-xo.html . "Crimson Deep", also from "What lies Beneath" and performance, from Act I too. It gives me chills, I just love it!
      6. th-cam.com/video/TGjkjNXYBWI/w-d-xo.html . "Dead Promises", live at Masters of Rock 2019, and the song is from her 2019 album "In the Raw". Freaking awesome! 🤘Great guitar riffs that function as a driving force to the song. Many songs in this album actually have this same characteristic, I think you'll love it.
      7. th-cam.com/video/CpxA5JTT5Ec/w-d-xo.html . "Shadow Play", also from her "In the Raw". Link to the studio version for the epic choir and orchestra, but there is an outstanding live performance at Circus Life where she plays piano too, worth checking out.💘🤘
      8. th-cam.com/video/Lq-genEQNLA/w-d-xo.html . "Innocence", from "The Shadow Self" and live at 'Circus Life' in Bucharest, in 2022 (quite recent). Fantastic live version, no backtrack recordings or anything like that, everything literally live! Beautiful, it feels so alive to me, as the whole concert!! Worth checking out as well is the official video for context
      9. th-cam.com/video/R_CQNdPbkzM/w-d-xo.html . That's a double 'cause I couldn't find a better live recording lol, so here it is: live at Luna Park Ride in 2011, first song is "Stargazers" by NW (from their album Oceanborn) but performed during her solo career, and following this she sings her own song "Ciarán's Well" (from her first solo rock album "My Winter Storm"). So epic, her operatic vocals and stage presence going wild, so much energy, sure you'll be blown away 🤩
      10. th-cam.com/video/H5FRurGWqjo/w-d-xo.html . "Too Many", from "The Shadow Self" and also live from her Act II in that London intimate set. Deep, emotional, breathtaking!
      11. th-cam.com/video/GxDnhbGTJSs/w-d-xo.html . "Victim of Ritual", live at Woodstock (Poland) in 2016. Insane great music inspired and built on Ravel's Bolero! Crazy vocals, wild energy, she's got such unbelievable stamina and ability to keep jumping and moving all around the stage while singing that way, with so much intensity, engaging the crowd and having fun!
      12. th-cam.com/video/e5zEb5xFlIE/w-d-xo.html . "Supremacy", it's a Muse cover, live at Woodstock too. Astonishing, thrilling high notes!
      13. th-cam.com/video/yma4r9Ep_kc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ffYuiRtg2LmxJknc . "The Reign", from her first rock album "My Winter Storm", but the performance from Act I. The song itself is alredy beautiful and emotional, definitely a hidden gem, and then what she does here..... So very touching😪💘, a unique moment! It shows the deep bond, reciprocal connection, love and trust between Tarja and her fans. I can't tell you more, you have to witness it lol
      14. th-cam.com/video/LIwC7P7zAOk/w-d-xo.html . "Medusa", from her "Colours in the Dark" and live at Metropolis Studios as well. Greek mythology driven, very different atmosphere she evokes here, epic yet mystical, mesmerizing, sort of alluring in a sense, I have not enough words to describe it lol. The studio version is a duet, worth checking out as well
      15. th-cam.com/video/Gwdv0UaxSos/w-d-xo.html . "Anteroom of Death", also from Act I dvd. Awesome and a bit insane, love it!
      16. th-cam.com/video/1mrBJGdM5_U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iSCLrVdHidzqglu9 . "Eye of the Storm", the only new song in her 2022 compilation album "Best of: Living the Dream", which is a restrospective where she looked back to her career and handpicked songs from her six studio albums. She has such an interesting, remarkable way of putting hints that reference important parts of her personal and professional journey. And there's a unique mix of styles that she merges together, that's all going to say for now lol
      17. th-cam.com/video/JFJkCdOUEQg/w-d-xo.html . "Stand Away", this one is actually featuring Tarja. The song is by Angra, a Brazilian melodic power metal band, in a live performance in 2013 I believe. It's another astounding piece of art! Prepare to be blown away by the music and the voices!..
Also, I don't know if you're into classical music (I am, I'm a classical musician 😆), so should you wish to see her go full "operatic" (I mean, her real classical singing so you can hear the difference), let me know I'll give you as well a small list with videos of her classical performances, totally worth it!
Thank you, mate! Hope to see you soon. And sorry for such a long, massive comment split in two, I just couldn't help it 🤣. We fans are very passionate lol

@@UntitledtotheGrave I thank you, mate! Really, thanks a lot, for your kindness and quick reply, and your channel☺! Well, I'm sure you'll love it all! 🤘 And of course! I'll gladly give you my small list with a few of Tarja's classical performances, here it is:
      1. th-cam.com/video/kEFFp3G3cMc/w-d-xo.html . This is an Ave Maria composed by Tarja herself! It is a live performance recorded in 2013. Truly beautiful, heavenly, divine and touching, with a stunning arrangement as well!😍💘 Try to hold back your tears ahaha
      2. th-cam.com/video/T2VIhB7q9uQ/w-d-xo.html . This is a czech opera aria known (in english) as "Song to the Moon", from Dvorák's opera "Rusalka". Tarja sings it beautifully, so expressive, majestic and stunning!
      3. th-cam.com/video/761qOzEdl8E/w-d-xo.html . This is the german aria "Mein Herr Marquis", from Johann Strauss' opera "Die Fledermaus". Here she shows some super high notes of her soprano vocal range and an agility that is quite impressive, for her voice has a more dramatic, heavier and darker tone, so it's not an aria exactly for her vocal Fach (the vocal classification of a singer). Considering this, Tarja's done a very good job!
      4. th-cam.com/video/4NL6xSHWQv0/w-d-xo.html . This is Tarja singing the well-known Puccini's aria "O mio Babbino Caro". Exquisite and gorgeous!😍 You can't miss it!
      5. th-cam.com/video/q1rfx63pf-0/w-d-xo.html . This is "Säv, Säv, Susa" by Jean Sibelius (a Finnish composer😍). I love this song (it's short but awesome) and the composer! Tarja is really incredible in this one!!! It's clearly recorded from a cellphone, but the audio and image are surprisingly good considering! And trust me, it's worth it hearing her in this! You'll witness her true dramatic, "spinto" soprano timbre in full; her rendition is so intense, it gives me chills from the beginning as well as her facial expressions haha.
      6. th-cam.com/video/3groSGNqMBY/w-d-xo.html . This is "Vilja Lied", a german aria by Lehár, where she sings during her "Beauty and the Beat" project, just like "Song to the Moon". It's another "must listen" from her classical repertoire! 😍❤
Once you've seen some from these lists, in case you're interested there's also Tarja's albums of "Dark Christmas", classical christmas songs but done in a very unique, sometimes soundtrack-like, and gothic, beautifully dark and captivating way. And she has just released a few songs from the part 2 of this project 🖤
Anyway, thanks again, mate! I'll be close around eager to accompanying you in this fantastic musical journey! ❤🥰

The song is a cover of the song from the musical of the same name.
Because Tarja refused to sing anything other than opera, she established opera singing in metal. She sings better today because she is more versatile:

Love og Nightwish. More rocknroll than today. But watch it when reacting to them, soon you will get Gabriels list and the army on your doorstep. The band is grater than their vocalists. Everone is replacable exept Tuomas. Go pick songs as you wish and out of all eras. 🥰

This was the.best Era. They lost the symphonic metal and become a moody folk music band. The best song they play today is from the other two Eras.
