Great sir.... But I think there is a correction in y(t) value that is AM signal you write :- y(t)=Ac(1+modulating_index*message signal )Sinwc(t) But I think the value of y(t) should be- Y(t)= Ac(1+modulating_index*SinWmt )SinWc(t)...... Please correct me If I am wrong
The AM equation u're talking about is generalistic in nature... In this lecture sir has shown the demodulation using square law device... He therefore has taken the equation corresponding to the AM signal generated from the square law modulator.

Low Pass filter only selects the low frequency stuff, basically it neglects all the powers and higher terms of message and carrier signals, and band-pass filter only selects a range of frequencies.

How do we know if term is having the information ? Like for carrier term we know x(t) will be present but what about info part ?
After lpf their is Ac^2 it is the carrier amplitude but u said that the term consist of only msg signal
