    Thanks fo much for this nostalgic mysore rasam! .. I had eaten thus till the age of 8-9 yrs n nvr met my tsnjsvur grandma after that...wn I grew up jn bombay palakkad Patti's house, I never heard abt this rasam anymore n I started liking avail more koottaan molagoottal etc! U won't believe me I knew this recipe by heart becos I guess i was a foodie from that age itself! Thanks so much yogambal mami..exact recipe shown by u...itself 63 niw but that taste is still there in my mouth!

    My mother went to one of our relative’s home and the maid there had made something in Eeya sombu but a little bit later, they couldn’t locate it. Afterwards, they realised that she’d left the vessel on the stove and gone elsewhere and like you said, it just melted on the stove

    Superb amma. Just loved. Just want a clarification. We sre told that lead(eyam) causes cancer. So I have kept my eeya chombu in the paranai. Ha ha

      I think you can understand Tamil ஈயம் 2 வகை வெள்ளீயம் காரியம் ஈய சொம்பு வெள்ளீயத்தால் ஆனது.இதனால் கெடுதல் இல்லை. காரீயம் உணவில் சேறகூடாதது. If you have any doubt please Google search .
