- The interior and cockpit layout achieved on this boat is another impressive achievement for Regal. The space utilization down below makes this boat a true 4 person weekender with two decent beds and and epic mid cabin that many 40ft boats would be jealous of.
If build quality, reliability, performance and a wide array of features for genuine overnight boating is important to you then you need to pay attention to this Regal 33XO because it will dish all of that up and more. This is a boat you could hold onto for many years and continue to enjoy.

You did a great job on explaining this Regal. I’m sold. Spoke to my dealer today and this video helped 👍
So happy to hear that! The more the dealers and factories can hear this the more boats i'll get access to to test for you
Thanks for the share Dan.
No worries - thanks for commenting
Can't wait to see what the Regal interior update does for the cabins on these sports cruisers. I enjoy the style Regal was going for with the previous appointments however, and appreciate the craftsmanship.
so very good 🎉🎉🎉
Same set up as my 2011 Chaparral 310. Great set up
Another beauty, thanks for sharing Dan…. Stilling waiting for that beaching and take off from beach video 😎
Cheers! It will be coming!
Really cool! Good Job!
So much more reliable and less maintenance with outboards !
Also a really great hull. This boat gives you confidence
is the A/C down in the cabin strong enought to cool off space during the summer months?
Yes it is and that day it was around 28C and humid
Thank for getting back to me @@BoatLife_DansBoatLife
Does only the American version have a built-in grill in the outdoor galley?
I believe thats an option but check with your dealer
I like it
Dan in this sport cruiser line, have you seen Formula,'s 380 SSC? Curious your opinion if it's a boat that makes it down under.
G'day Scott, I know of the Formula but I don't have any experience with them as not big downunder. When I eventually make it to the US i'd love to check them out. So many great US builders i'd love to compare with the Europeans.
Very clever design 👍
A bit overpriced.....
Also the performance is really very good. Quality is super high on these Regals which is why the price is higher. Just imagine all the shallow water places you can get to in this.
850k!!!! jesus...
One very important item that’s missing is a compass.
I hope it’s not a digital one on the dash screen.
Is that left engine at 12:38 smaller than the right one …
No same size. Must be a camera trick
down below, the ship is strangely spatially resolved, what the hell is the space under the high bed?
Amazing boat. Has it all but $850k is insane. I wouldn't want to pay more than $100k for this used with 350hrs on it.
100$ true
Agreed... you should see the ski boat prices...400 G ...hahahhaahh unbelievable.great comment
You can pick up a solid 580 Sundancer for that.
Boat prices are ludicrous right now.
@@mojoman327 Everything is right now thanks to Biden and his puppet masters creating this disgusting reality.
❤
Plush for sure. If a sports cruiser is the goal - and you want one that's still enjoyable to lounge in during inclimate weather - this boat impresses. OTOH it has somewhat of a retro style when stacked up against the European trends we're seeing now...altho' the latter don't offer the mix of interior function and outside social areas that are combined here. Pricing in $A with those dual 300's would be of interest.
Hey Jack what does OTOH mean...?
Agree with your points and when onboard the styling actually feels pretty modern to be fair. I think Regal just keep their build to such a high standard that yes if a SPort Cruiser is what you desire then you would be very happy with this boat. She was $849k AUD as tested.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Like FYI (for you information) and IME (in my experience) OTOH is just a lazy person's way of saying 'on the other hand'. (Bet you actually knew that...)
@@jacktyler7599 OMG that makes sense now! lol
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Sundancer 320 is 460k OTD......849k laughable!!!
850k for this? Innovative and beautiful for sure but WAY overpriced!!
I think it's just that our dollars buy less these days. A boat like this was always about the price of a one bedroom apartment in Sydney and $850k is what you would pay for a 1 bed these days so it's all relative. I wish my salary inflated at the same rate haha!
The Regal build quality is some of the best i've seen though. They build really great boats.
Would any boat sponsor want you to pick one older American with health problems to receive a boat?
850k is downright laughable.
I've always just compared boats to houses in Sydney. A boat this size has always been around the price of a one bedroom unit in Sydney which these days a 1 bed unit in a nice suburb is around $800k - 1M so it's all inflated somewhat the same I guess. Except wages :(
You’re deluded if you think a 33ft boats insane price tag is anywhere near justifiable by aligning it to real estate! 😂
People have lost their minds to pay so much for the boat's being made most could charge half price and make it very good profit.
I think a lot of that is the inflation we have seen over the last 2-3yrs
Boat reviews without pricing are useless.
Cheer's I now include pricing in my reviews.
