Andy i got a cheap applicator from china years ago which was about 30 dollars. And i clip to the rail now which works, or you have to use a nail in your plaster work cheers Robert
Hello, that area is coming along nicely. I couldn't help noticing what a big layout you have. I became a sub at the beginning of the Magnorail series. I, for one, would love a tour of your seemingly beautiful layout. Maybe a cab ride? Or....if you have already done that, maybe supply a link for us newer subs. Thanks. See ya next time.
Nice work as usual. I noticed, or it was just the way the camera picks it up, but it looks like the Auto yard cement pad is bubbling. Could just be the darker color on the pad. Is it?
Great to see the rest of your spectacular layout in the background but this peninsula with the magnorail setup and the roundhouse and industrial area is really gonna be the show piece of the layout. Spectacular work Robert. You might consider Just plug it lights for the parking area because you can install the base permanently but the light posts just plug in so they are removable if you have to remove the styrene to access the magnorail system. Love the layout.
Derek love your comments keep them coming lol. But with the lights i will be using my Wago Connectors, this way i can take them off if needed. But the plug in lights, i would still have the problem getting the plug through the layout cheers Robert
Nice video, just a suggestion, can you cut the guts out of an auto rack and place it over the exit ramp, to hide the cars leaving the other 2 auto racks. Cheers John.
Some may laugh, but in general this is how they apply ballast. I am surprised that no one has modeled the ballast machine that grades it out as it is laid down.
csxmad It just happened to be one of the suggested videos from another train video, I’ve been watching a lot of train videos so I’m getting a lot of suggested ones like this
Robert that scene totally comes alive with the ground cover and lights. Looks awesome mate. Does the Mrs know that the Cappuccino shaker is in the layout room? Mark
@The Barbarian Infidel No i don't have a comparison between non or stactic, but i might give it a go. But i think the grass would just lay down tho. And i too like Faller but the cost of the vehicles got me to go to Magnorail cheers Robert
Looking Great Sir Robert. So good to see it all coming together now. It's Going to look awesome when all completed and Lit up at Night with the cars driving by. Cheers Mate Andy M

I am wondering what static grass applicator you use and does the power need to be on clipping to the rails???
Thanks in Advance Mate.

John you might be able to do that with a auto rack, but i will have a shed over
the ramp so you don't see this cheers Robert
