Instead of using the 3d cursor you could scale to active element instead of scale to cursor. Select the verts you wanna move then select the destination vert last then simply scale to 0. The destination vert acts like your cursor and it eliminates a step.
Muscle memory makes snapping faster for me, the difference would be marginal so it's not worth retraining
To snap to other vertices, you can activate the snapping setting, and set it to vertex mode. Then you get a "Sketchup"-like functionality to your snapping.

Absolutely TOP Tier tutorials, NO BS, Straight to the point
I would highly suggest binding the snap to window on the top bar of blender to something easy like a mouse button, 4 or 5 and using the vertex snap feature rather than using the 3d cursor as a pivot point to snap verts in place, this way you also have super quick access to things like edge center snapping and edge perpendicular snapping

Do i want an animation tutorial - Yes.
The Iphone 3D model requires a little bit more details. but for a 18 minute video tutorial it is a good starting point for people who want to learn.
Too good... More like a timelapse and so much content to be absorbed. This circle trick was really cool for making rounded corners. I would have gone with bevel and then cried and cried to fix the geometry.
Cannot wait to see the animation. If you do decide to make the animation, it would be good if you can talk about the lighting (not HDRI) and how you control the lights in an animation.

Hello, I have a question like a rookie 3d modeller. Why we won't create camera base like cameras itself (like personal island, without welding vertexes with base of smartphone and some other topology porn)? This may cause some sort of problems or it's you like view of model blocking? In another tutorial you said, that using base shapes is better then complex shapes. Then why we need to do this topology thing here instead of 2 rounded cubes, aligned like in reference?
