I know these videos are 6 years old but my wife and I used them as our weekly tradition. Such great content without pushing any agendas. Well, our little dude arrived today. He’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done. Thanks again to this channel and the commenters for helping keep this overly anxious dad sane for the last 39 weeks or so. Good luck to everyone. I just had my first daughter two days ago at 38 weeks and 6 days she came out weighing 5 pounds and 12.8 ounces and healthy as can be. All natural no epidural, no pain medicine (it was too late I dilated so fast I didn't want pain medicine anyways) 5 pushes later out came my princess. 😍❤

Feels crazy to be sleeping next to my baby when I was supposed to be watching this for my 39 week check in. I was dilated and gave birth to my son at 38 weeks and 4 days. I have been watching these since I've been 6 weeks and I've learned alot. Thanks Channel mum ❤️
Getting induced on Monday, I can’t believe I’ve made it all the way to the 39 week video. It’s been hard but we as women are so strong.
From 36 wks til now (38w), I ate 4 pineapples, drank raspberry leaf teas, and ate spice food (except midwives brew).....results-->NO CONTRACTIONS!
Bottom line: if ur body is NOT ready, it is not ready no matter what u do.

39weeks +5days!! So exciting :) lots of pain and discomfort in my pelvis and I'm moving about like a turtle that's stuck on its back! Still a lovely stage of pregnancy though. Good luck everyone!

39 weeks tomorrow and it feels so surreal! I’m 1cm and 70% effaced and being induced on Tuesday. :) Time to meet my first child- my son. 💙 Best of luck to all you mamas!! The pain will be over very soon!!!
I've been ichy all over it's driving me nuts
Heartburn, headaches, extremely hungry/thirsty, can’t lay on either side too long without my hips hurting 😭 , & very emotional . I will be induced in 6 days & I’m starting to get more nervous than ever !! This is a very bittersweet moment ☹️

I've had sort of a rough pregnancy with heart burn, anxiety, a bad flu and body pains (I'm 35 and this is my 3rd baby) but this will probably be my last baby and I'll miss it all. The big belly, maternity clothes, kicks and flutters and hiccups. Being pregnant is such a gift even though it's rough sometimes. 🤰🏼❤
It's amazing how the amniotic sac, the placenta, and a full sized baby all fit in my body. I'll meet my little one soon, so excited!

For Women who come across this comment and worry...your mucus plug is Not anything to depend on or worry about. Hardly any women pass it or even notice it, sometimes it doesn’t come at all until your already delivering. Frequent liquid leaking or gushing along with Constant steady Contractions are the things you need to keep an eye out for. Another very important thing to be aware of and get exited about is colored bloody discharge near your due date, it’s a sign that your cervix is thinning and baby is descending!

I'm so eager to meet my December prince and expirence the mother-son bond I hear so much about🥰 I remember watching these videos in the beginning stages. 39+1 today! 🎉 Feeling wonderful even through the huffing of moving in bed or putting shoes on. I have had a fantastic pregnancy and hope to meet my little one this week or I think I might be going down the induction route due to them measuring a bit on the big side. I’m feeling lots of heaviness low down since yesterday eve so hoping that’s a good sign things are starting to progress 🤞🏼

I'm in my 39th week now, so technically at 38 weeks + 4 days. It's my first baby and I honestly feel like a balloon that is about to pop. I'm terrified of the labor pains and equally excited to meet my baby, but I'm also ready. If my baby doesn't decide to come out soon, I already have an induction scheduled due to my blood sugar. I'm 39 weeks today and I'm having my baby girl Tuesday March 8, 22 schedule c-section and I'm sooooooooo ready.
Thank you Charlotte, you were a huge part of my pregnancy journey in 2022. I thought I'd come back to update my birth experience.
39+3 days my waters had broken at 5am after receiving a stretch and sweep from my midwife the afternoon before. I was to be induced via Foley balloon 2 hours earlier that day but luckily didn't need it. I was induced with Oxytocin that same morning and on the 6th April 2022 at 3.43pm I naturally gave birth with no drugs except gas to a tiny baby boy at 5 lbs 6 Oz. I have a new admiration to woman to be able to endure such trauma and beauty all at once. My baby was classed small for gestational age but thrived all his hospital checks and we were sent to the birthing csntre for 4 days to learn latching. My boy is now 10 weeks old and has doubled weight and thriving so well 😁

Congrats!!!!! I had mine when I was 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant ... So close to 40 weeks but hey, baby boy couldn't wait any longer and what's so funny is that he was born on my DAD'S bday!!!!! So grandpa and grandson have the SAME birthday 🙈.

I had my baby girl yesterday (9weeks 3days) she was 8lbs 12oz and she looks like her big sister so much if I compare thier baby pics you would think they were twins for sure and her big sissy loves her so much! When she came to see her she was peeking over the bassinet saying “I love you baby sissy” definitely one of the best proud mom moments I’ve had and don’t get me started on this huge smile she got when she got to hold her omg! 💕💕💕 they make my heart so happy!

Jasmine Barbosa it was ... intense 😅 after the first 6 hours I couldn’t take it anymore so yes I had to have epidural! I had to bend forward and try and keep really still while they inserted the needle in my back, I had to tell the doctor when I felt a contraction coming and he’d stop 👀 it was an experience that’s for sure, but when you see your little baby pop out nothing compares to that feeling you’ll be fine 👌🏻

Our Scan EDD is 19 August 2022 and today it is the 11 of August... Been watching your videos from 5 weeks and I've learned a lot and was able to support my girlfriend positively. Thank you very much. These videos make a huge difference.
I’m 39 + 2 days and honestly so ready for her to come out. Pelvic pain, pains down the front of my legs. She seems very happy where she is, kicking my stomach up and head butting my bladder! As she’s my first I’m preparing myself for her to be overdue, but hopefully not!
39 weeks today. Every week I'm in awe that we've made it this far. Into my second week of mat leave and it's nice being able to relax and take things slowly. My mood swings are terrible though I think I've been in a terrible mood for the past 3 days. I keep having to take myself to my bedroom so I don't keep snapping at everyone 🤦🏻♀️

39 weeks and I’ve been ready for her to come since week 37. I’m starting to feel really pitiful. Back, hips, legs, pelvis extremely sore. Can’t sit, lay, or stand for too long. I assumed the last leg would be tough, but sheesh!

I’m 4 cm dilated and have been feeling some pre labor symptoms for the past 3 days so any day now plus I’ve noticed 3x the amount of discharge for 3 days in a row which I’m pretty sure has been my mucus plug.

Wow my little one is due next week and it's sometimes hard to get out of bed I feel like a turtle on its back trying to flip back on it's tummy . I have to have my sweetheart to help me get out of bed even in the night but I'm so glad and thankful he's there to help me out
