It's a series that needs to come back. One criticism I have of ow youtubers is that they don't redo videos when patches YEARS AGO have made the video irrelevant
KarQ has the funniest opportunity now if he ever makes a 1 LW Tip vs Every Hero if he features you and has the title as 1 LIFEWEAVER TIP for EVERY HERO ft. KarQ
This will probably be the only video I use my voice in, I didnt really know how to explain all stuff this without using it. Sorry if you hear any stutters/voice cracks/tone changes, I tried my best to do retakes / edit them out. Hope this video taught you guys cool stuff, see you in the next video
Regarding 5:55, it's very much worth noting that Doom's block *still gets charge from javelin before being cancelled* (unlike other sources of stun like other doom punches that cancel it before giving charge) so it'll almost always be better to let him take the javelin than block it entirely. Looks like the specific timing in this clip still managed to let the damage go through which is awesome, but if you can't consistently get that perfect timing, aim to be late rather than too early.
Great tips! I also think it would be interesting to do another 1 LW tip for every hero but with teammates, showing all the possibilities like Petal-High noon or Petal-Cage.
I've been playing this character for quite a while now, and yet I've raised my eyebrows a lot! It's the depth and beauty of architect heroes like him, great video, and you've done really well with the voice! 😊
Great video, you earned a new subscriber +1 👍🏾 14:09 Using the petal to lift a ice-block Mei from stalling the objective is a great idea! Can't believe I never thought of that lols.
16:51 That's so good! My tree always got destroyed by torbjorn lava , i forgot we can put the tree on platform and then make it floating to avoid lava!😊 Thank you for all of info/tips in this video!❤
I can’t listen to this right now but I can’t wait to watch it because I’ve recently picked up LW and you’ve been a huge inspiration even before I played him! I was hoping you’d make a tips and tricks video, so thank you!
i actually discovered a pretty niche window counter with tree if theres absolutely no cover whatsoever then depending on where the window is you can put your tree in the center of it to make its area of effect significantly smaller ive only ever done this a couple of times though so it might not be as viable as im remembering it, i just remember being like "hm this seems like it could be smart" in a qp game and it ended up working really well lol
I absolutely love watching your LW videos and they’ve inspired me to try maining LW over the past month with no intention of stopping anytime soon, learning all the techniques has been an uphill struggle but really rewarding to finally start pulling off and hearing positive feedback from your teammates. I can barely stop a flux and my grips are wonky at best but I really hope to become as good at Weaver as you someday! Thanks for making these awesome videos and I hope I get to see more in the future, oce for life!
I just lifted the mauga cage by accident a few days ago! It was pretty awesome to figure out that interaction, but the platform was broken before he died. The tree trick in addition is genius!
Wow these are some advanced tips!! I didnt know so many of these interactions im so excited try them out with friends! You did amazing on this video! The voiceover was great :)
I was able to do the Mauga cage piñata trick and it was so satisfying when I successfully pulled it off and it was a game deciding move. I definitely want to keep working on that and the other strats.
Loved this! It's just as good as KarQs. Thank you so much for putting so much time and effort. I love your vids so much, even when I'm taking a break from overwatch.
I once played lifeweaver in Gibraltar with my buddy. We were on attack and almost had the cart to first point. I was at the part of the map where the payload goes under the highground before it reaches the first point, and my two dps were AT the high ground right above me. An enemy reaper came up to me, and I reacted to him ulting me, with a petal! But instead of boosting my self up, I boosted him up to my dps, killing both of them :)
Yyyyeeeesssssss The 1 tip for every hero is back. I've been waiting a long time for these vods to return. Plz redo some or the older 1's. Luv u @KarQ for listing and delivering (edit) wait mb I thought this was a karq vod 😂😂😂. He really needs to bring these back
I have been playing lw since he came out and didn't know most of these tips. And ngl, this vid made realize how lw can be powerful in the right hands, and also perhaps how underrated he is since I think most players don't give him enough credit
Love these types of videos!! Could you make one exactly like this but with healing and support tips? Like what to do and watch out for when your team features certain heroes (like that Cassidy trick you do)? that'd be so awesome 🥺
I didn't know heals could go underground 😅 but the Flicks are escential to keep track of the teammate you want to heal, otherwise you might end up healing a full hp heroe
Hey Ravi, do you have any tips for how to make the legacy controls less annoying to use? I just can’t get past the muscle memory of wanting to use left and right mouse to fire and then not being able to do that. If I could have that functioning normally I feel like I could pick it up, but it makes weavers weapons feel even more clunky than they already are when you have to click a button to swap between his weapons with legacy controls on
I tested the legacy controls for a week and its just a minor buff. I haven't noticed any changes in my gameplay or decision making or positioning. In fact, I don't necessarily NEED legacy controls as I maneuver myself out of sticky situations just fine with the default control scheme. Play whatever you feel the most strongest with or what you want to prioritize. I like doing damage so I'd take the smoother weapon swap over not having to jump and dash 9 times out of 10.
Also! LW is getting a buff soon (hopefully on his weapon swap and other quality of life changes). Once those buffs come through, I might change my control settings.
And get ready for every hard core weaver to tell you that not using legacy controls is a self nerf because you're not playing the character how they expect you to. 🫠🫠
Another general tip for weaver! If any enemy is behind a shield and you cant heal them, flick your mouse and release the burst heal at the same time so the heal goes around the shield! If they are in a winston bubble, flick the heal downwards so it goes under the bubble.
If you are grav'ed and friendly Mei ice blocks in the air in front of you, it blocks your LoS to the ground, meaning it's hard to tree in front. That messed me up spamming the button wondering why it wouldn't place.
There is this weird mauga interaction I noticed as weaver, If you platform after he uses cage, you can send him to the top of his cage while preventing him to get off. He would need to destroy the platform before being able to shoot anyone else. This is less useful than platforming cage itself but still useful.
This looks familiar
Actually really respect you helping out smaller content creators. You’re a good dude.😊😊😊
Why don’t u do This any more
Sue him!!!

KarQ already did remaster 30 tip videos but the game still gets updated. Give him a break, man.
KarQ has the funniest opportunity now if he ever makes a 1 LW Tip vs Every Hero if he features you and has the title as 1 LIFEWEAVER TIP for EVERY HERO ft. KarQ
dunno why he would make a video about lifeweaver tbh xD
@@kusolp544 probably because he has one of like every hero
eyyyyyy piratewalnut! cool to find you here, really enjoy your vids 👌
*Not KarQ

very helpful! trying to make lifeweaver more viable in my games, and hopefully these tips will help me get more value.
you voiced this vid better than some voice only creators
Great video. Does the Sigma vortex/tree thing still works? His ult now ignores LoS after all
tbh I didn't found a single problem with your voice
Thank you for your hard work, it is very useful and we appreciate it!!❤❤
weavil being a menace on rein even when youre getting footage LMAO
NU UH
ok but that healing flick is actually so funny and so cool at the same time lol
Right??? I didn’t realize you could do that with Mauga’s cage!
it's fckng nuts lol
the tip for kiriko is so funny and also depressing at the same time
This video reminds me that Lifeweaver has so many strategic plays. The skill ceiling on this hero isn’t as low as a lot of people think
Thank you, this video truly helped me out, especially in the Kiriko match up.
I like how Lifeweaver's petal ornaments on his back act like shields to protect his head.
That venture tip is actually so useful wtf 17:46
Amazing video! I can see why this must've taken a long time to make.
2 months well spent
@@ReformedRavi Quality assured
Damn, today was a good day to go back to playing weaver.
this isn't one tip for every hero, it's a whole masterclass on every single matchup

Oh yeah good point, i shouldve used something like deadeye as an example instead

Bro even has the same backing music
Pretty sure it’s for the bit
I have so many hours on weaver and still learned a ton from this video. Excited to go back to being a menace!
I've been playing this character for quite a while now, and yet I've raised my eyebrows a lot! It's the depth and beauty of architect heroes like him, great video, and you've done really well with the voice! 😊
The LifeWeaver guide is here!
This was so useful ReformedRavi!
I feel like I learned so much, and I’m genuinely saving this video so I can rewatch it regularly. HUGE thanks Ravi- this is freaking rad
100% needed this. The kiriko part cracked me up lmao
Great video, you earned a new subscriber +1 👍🏾

I've always thought about doing that to maui so it's cool that you shared your insight on the interaction
that mauga tip is diabolical
i love it
Damn I gotta try that trick against Maugas and see how pissed they get 😂
I can’t listen to this right now but I can’t wait to watch it because I’ve recently picked up LW and you’ve been a huge inspiration even before I played him!
I was hoping you’d make a tips and tricks video, so thank you!
You should probably know theres a guy name Karq that is making rip off guides of your videos just like this one.
i actually discovered a pretty niche window counter with tree

8:33 another way to break the mines is throw petal underneath them, they will blow up when they hit the petal
I'm eatimg stew with rice while watching this, banger combo

These are some great lifeweaver tips, makes me wanna try the legacy control scheme again now 😅
Time to start playing LW every single game and carry their asses
Every LW player rn: ^

i did this once by accident and my mercy superjumped into it and went "erghiaerigkdfgtrkr" in vc.
I just lifted the mauga cage by accident a few days ago! It was pretty awesome to figure out that interaction, but the platform was broken before he died. The tree trick in addition is genius!
I almost forgot I wasnt watching a KarQ video! very well done and educational! now time to go play some LW before my team tells me to swap to Kiriko

The best things I learned were moving mei while she's frozen and lifting up venture when they're underground then breaking petal. TYYYYYYY
everyday im learning something new about LW

Best Weaver makes the best guide, sick stuff man!
you blew my mind with that petal tech for mauga ult. I am actually super excited to try it out now.
Awesome tips dude! Thank you! 👏🏽
Gained enough knowledge to finally maybe be able to get as much value as kiri ty 🙏
massively well-directed video. thanks ravi
Thank you for this video! KarQ would be proud.
This is like 10 tips per hero, I'll gladly take it etither way
I've played LW a ton, but some of these techs are absolutely genius! Great video! I'm gonna go suffer in ranked trying to apply some of these now!
Thank you so much! This is so useful.
6:40 that block was so amazing 😻
That Mauga tech is straight up sadistic lmaooo. Will definitely remember that one.
I have 250 hours on LW, and I still learned a lot of things. Thanks for the tip, and I guess I'll try legacy controls now lol
Im just flabbergasted by the heal throw from below the shield lmfao, that is so nasty

The video premier of our lifetime... I've been waiting for this!
These tips are so good, learned a lot of new things even as a LW main!
5:20 LW breaking the laws of physics just to throw petals at his teammates (he’s a romantic)
also do people not read patch notes???? so many are saying they thought flux doesn’t require los anymore but that changed 10 days later hello 😭
love your content man, hope that you post more often. My fav lw youtuber!
I have been playing lw since he came out and didn't know most of these tips. And ngl, this vid made realize how lw can be powerful in the right hands, and also perhaps how underrated he is since I think most players don't give him enough credit

crikey yeah mate i am
Thank you!!! Finally some good weaver tips
I’ve watched this video about 5 times so i remember it 😭😭
I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE FLICKS THIS IS A GAME CHANGER
I had no idea you could flick heals over things that's gonna be so useful
I didn't know heals could go underground 😅 but the Flicks are escential to keep track of the teammate you want to heal, otherwise you might end up healing a full hp heroe
I love using life grip on hooked teammates and saying "nope. Put him back."
Tysm!! this help me so much
you saved my life(weaver) once again with this one i love you reformedravioli
honestly man this was actually to almost the same quality as a karq video good job man
so basically counter every 10 second cooldown enemy ability with your ult thats not ready every 10 seconds. got it!
Man I never realized how useful it can be to break you platform. Great video
Haha brother I'm the Queen you tree'd in the video 😅I've seen you a lot in our little OCE servers lmao. Love the video 💖

Great video I hope this does well! Would you ever consider doing a "1 Lifeweaver combo spot" for every map type video in a similar style?
maybe in the future, got some other stuff planned for now though
9:40 f) hope they cant aim
oh my god I didn't know you can flick under shields too, that's amazing
GREAT tips. Thanks!
this popped up just as i was looking at your page :D
i never knew u could flick under/over so thanks for the tip

If you are grav'ed and friendly Mei ice blocks in the air in front of you, it blocks your LoS to the ground, meaning it's hard to tree in front. That messed me up spamming the button wondering why it wouldn't place.
Damn you made me pick up weaver again. Those are some juicy tricks
YOU CAN LIFT UP THE TREE?! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS
thank u, very useful tips!
As a main LW, used some, but really nice advice! Keep up mate, one day you'll be Sup n°1 (already in my heart tbh)
I DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD FLICK YOUR HEALS OVER SHIELDS LIKE THAT 🤯
