A few months ago I walked past a charity shop and something in my head told me to go inside so I turned around and went back in. I found Resident Evil 1, 2 & 3 on the Gamecube for £3 each. Now every time I go into town I have to go into every charity shop and CEX just in case I miss something..😶
Heads up Cayle I know you're not to concerned about 4k blu rays but DONT USE CURSE OF THE BLACK PURL AS A REFRENCE DISC because it's known for having a bad transfer to 4K so just a heads up, love the content mate 👌
4K discs tend to be a lot more sesntive to small marks and scratches so i would defo get the disc swapped out if possible, also sadly the Pirates films (the 1st especially) were not great transfers so not the best demo/showcase of the format, if you do upgrade a few things in the collection a good rule of thumb tends to be anything shot on film (older stuff mostly) tends to transfer forward better than a lot of stuff shot digital , those can be very hit or miss depending on the transfer, if it was a native 4k or a 2K DI etc
Found Horizon zero dawn limited edition for £10 in cex today, regularly sells for £40+. Its something i want to keep for the collection but thought id share my bargain today.
It's funny that you say pirates of the caribbean would be good and older stuff would be redundant on 4k. A lot of the best stuff on 4k blu ray are older movies that have been rescanned from the original film, this is because a lot of modern movies are finished in 2k whereas 35mm film can be natively scanned to 4k. Try watching something like the original bladerunner or the godfather on 4k blu ray, they look unbelievable. There are also fantastic newer movies such as dune or the spiderverse movies, i always look at a review of the disc before i get it because you never know how the transfer is.
Second this, the best 4k blu rays I've seen have been older and shot on film such as The Shining and Lawrence of Arabia. Though, It's also to do with proper HDR grading and how they apply DNR which can remove a lot of detail as shown with the pirates of the caribbean transfers. Newer digitally shot films can still look amazing if done right, like The Revenant.
If you’re picking up 4k Blu rays. I can heartily recommend getting Into the Spiderverse. On the LG C panels especially, that final scene was as good as it was in the cinema, and that shit was a life changing experience!
£3,600 worth of free stuff and a salary on top of that, is that not a huge money loss for myprotein? Because you can’t be making them like over £10,000 a year, and I assume they pay you more that that
All that protein and energy stuff ya have haha get ya dog out the room for the day brother took my husky for a massive walk before I did my big kitchen he was sound , just knacker them out first saves so much £££ on decoraters . You will have it primed and rolled in a few hrs , I'm far from a decorater but couldn't afford 1 for, and the new house wow falling to bits I did 5 rooms in 5 nights and still rolled turf at work that week has to be done , specially if ya indoors anyway but hey respect either way mate

Pretty lucky find there, generally anything decent they put on eBay these days instead of on their shop floor
I would recommend replacing that 4K disc. Due to how the compression works any damage to the disk itself makes it hard to play properly.

I generally find with a lot of protein bars and cookies etc they’re a lot nicer if you heat them up slightly in the microwave (like 5-10 seconds)

I'm 90% sure you're secretly the owner of CeX. You definitely deserve a discount.
Do you still intend to upload on your Cayle Grows account? I noticed that you haven’t uploaded onto that account in a while. Really enjoy the content!

Can you play 4k dvds on my Xbox series x
yes
Yes, you just don't get Dolby Vison support for 4K Discs but it will play back in HDR10 just fine :)
It won't play 100gb discs so I'd be wary of that.
