Actually Eminem wanted her to have a normal life but she never knew she was so special due to her dad until she asked her best friend to come on a trip with her and she told her that he always does this for her. And in that moment she knew her life wasn't normal. But he did his best to do it. It's on her sisters podcast "It's a little Shady" I think it's called.

Shout out to all the strong dads out there who love protect and provide for their kids regardless of how they grew up. My dad died penniless and estranged from 2/3 of his kids and told me he didnt care for me as much as he did his own ways. He wouldnt go to my brothers wedding either. Now he’ll never get a chance to redo and walk me down the aisle. He left us nothing but trauma and unanswered questions, not to mention genetic patterns to overcome by the grace of God. If youre a parent or plan to be one, dont provoke your children to wrath. The wounds may never heal. Glad Em realizes the importance of being a strong and loving parent and never left his babies
