This was a great tutorial on upcycling and making your own inspired cargo pants by adding some different types of pockets. This DIY came with some bonus how to with the zipper by the yard (who knew? not me), waistband removal/replacing, buttonhole hack and sizing an existing garment to fit. I really like the end results and I think you need to do a midi/maxi skirt version in cargo (denim but would love to see in gabardine type fabric). Your styling is always blazing and it great to see you pair past DIYs in rotation with new ones you completed (you actually making a cohesive designer line). I see you wearing that halfmoon bag again at the waist (love it). After I saw you put my comment into action, and it was everything I imagine, I started to look at my larger handbags that have adjustable handles in a different way and wearing them around my waist. I had thought about it before (obviously but using small crossbody purses) but never executed it with larger handbags before. I will say though, the tassels would look better as denim, i have a pair of cargos with denim tassels and it gives such a good weight to them while theyre hanging down, they flow with the pants better while lighter tassels tend to go with their own flow more. No hate, just giving my opinion to these awesome pants!

Okay, so, I hate pants, I own maybe 2 pair, no jeans, I live in skirts because I deeply hate things tight around my crotch. But when I was in high school, I had ONE pair of JNCO jeans that I loved, because they were actually comfortable. They had a high waist, they had room, they were awesome. I'd gotten them at Goodwill, I didn't know that was a "big deal" brand until someone commented on them. Those jeans are what the adjusted waist remind me of. I am actually going to buy some jeans and do this. No one is going to know what to think if they see me wearing jeans.

Yesss, that’s a good idea. The great thing about these is that the pants just need to be wide leg. They don’t have to be too big.
Men's jeans are best anyway, shopping by measurements is sooo much better lol
