I love these. I bought some expensive Italian blazers from the thrift store a few months ago. All new with the tags on them. They will be used for all 3. Blazers are one of my favorite articles of clothing next to denim, jeans, shirts and jackets.
Those all look so good, but best of all, you gave me an idea on how to cover a pen mark on a shirt I got with embroidery!! 🪡🧵 like you, I hate hand sewing, but I'll make an exception to save my shirt lol
Thanks! I wish I could send more. I have been trying to find out how to do the cape jacket forever. Thank you so much because this is the first tutorial of the process that I could understand and follow.
As usual, you knocked it out of the park, Angelina!!! BRAVO 🙂 I need these for the winter, so I can layer and keep cool at the same time, thrift store, here I come...thank you!
My favourites - its a tie between 1 and 3. The cape for simplicity of upcycling. Any of us can do that one. But the third with the front cutout and sashiko stole my heart!!!
I love how you styled the last jacket and at my “seasoned “ age I am telling you right now that I am copying this whole look. Already made black denim cargos and cut my blazer yesterday. Sashiko coming next. Keep these great ideas coming. Love them.
They're all fabulous! 👌🏽❤💯😀 I love the blue cape sleeves, the pinstripes back cutout with backties and the front cut out! Great job as always! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️
You're freaking outstanding and well deserving of your new space! After I saw Tamisha Glashen's tutorial on a blazer, I cut the back of a blazer with the inverted circle in the back. It's nice to see you do your take on this design. I love seeing your past upcycles incorporated with your new creations. This adds to the value and sustainability of your upcycles. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I appreciate the way that you work. The creativity and the figure it out as you go is my style too, and one reason why I haven't done much sewing before-patterns are too rigid! I like that you don't edit out mistakes either. It's part of the process!
Hey girl, I really wasn't interested, but once I start watching I have follow through. I was so happy I did . I am TOTALLY feeling all three. Thank you so much. I can't wait to make them all. And your styling was on point😊
I love love them all. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Number 3 stoled my heart though...the entire look was a hit 🤗🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️ Thank you for sharing your skills and gift with us. 🙏🏾👑💃🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾✊🏾🖤🤗🌹❤️🥰😍
Always doing amazing inspiring transformations thank you! now since I'm not ready to show my side rolls on my back, still lots of work outs to do, but blazer 1 n 3, girl. My uncle died and my cousin dropped of a lot of his clothes some he never even wore. I have 4 blazers and was thinking about cropping one from that video you did, LOVE IT! But now you bring me this video. Now I have to do more at least 2 of these, always awesome Angelina! I live in the Caribbean now the Dominican republic so blazers we are melting here, lol. It's like 100 everyday.
I saved it so when I can get started your video will show me how. TYVM Angelina. 👋💕 Yes, I want to upcycle all three of those blazers. I love all of them. You did beautiful work as always.👍👍
BRILLIANT! Thank you so much for these. I have this super oversized black viscose linen blazer, by an Italian designer that I just had to have but didn't know how to make it mine and now I know!!! Breezy sleeves it is 😍
You are so dope thank you for making sewing fun and simple I appreciate you. You are my she-ro keep up the fantastic amazing work you’re doing. Your awesome
You know I've wanted to do that back out blazer & the last one will be going on my to do list as well. Yeah can't wait for next class, since our chat, I have been inspired 😘😘😘
I have a jacket which is too small in the upper arm bicep area. I think your cape style recycle may be perfect as it will allow that extra room and I should fit perfectly after than upcycle. Thanks for the tip :)😀
I’ve got a wool plaid double-breasted that I’m going to cape the sleeves on and an off-white linen that I’m going to circle the front and use a metallic gold embroidery thread
All three are fabulous! My fave is the 3rd one and how you styled it❤, then it would be the cape, I love the 2nd one as well, but I have 2 much back fat 😂😂
😮 love these!! i'm def about to give every jacket in my closet a second look. i love how simple that sleeve alteration is, so doable! that third jacket tho, i was skeptical at first, but you nailed it and then some! so cool! 💙
I love them all was very surprised with the last one the way you styled it love love love now I want to upscyle some blazers will defiantly go to the thrift tomorrow
I LOVE the last one sooooo much, and of course you styled it so cute! ✨🙌🏼🎉I just learned about the sashiko/boro techniques a little over a year ago and I was instantly in love with it. The way they speak about mending, caring, and the appreciation of clothes is really inspiring. Having said that I absolutely love your channel and how you strive to teach and inspire all of us. Thank you so much💜
Nice work, loved the one with the back out... and oh yes darlin, I definitely have some ideas of my own for upcycling blazers. They have sew much potential. HAPPY SEWING EVERYONE!
last one that you styled is my fav. i love the fact that you took a serious looking blazer and made it so fun and playful.
Thanks so much! 🥰
Loved the shirt you wore for the last one! The whole vibe is giving 90's TLC! (RIP, Lisa!)
Thanks! I thrifted it a long time ago.
@@BlueprintDIY I just updated the comment to say it's giving 90's TLC vibes! Pretty tops and cargo jeans!
The last one is super cute, edgy casual but put together,
Thanks ☺️
I love the open sleeves!
I love these. I bought some expensive Italian blazers from the thrift store a few months ago. All new with the tags on them. They will be used for all 3. Blazers are one of my favorite articles of clothing next to denim, jeans, shirts and jackets.
Yayyy! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 You named all my faves too! 🤭
You're going to look amazing!
Love the top you have on.
Those ties at 2 are doing it for me and I love the cape👌
The first blazer has so much details..... Omg!!! I love all of them but the 3rd one is my favorite and the styling is it!!!. You a Gem...
Thank you so much!!
I LOVE that last blazer with the front cutout. I think even this curvy girl could pull that look off.
Yayyy, go for It!
Wow..I see you made magic as usual in the end👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💥😍
🤭 Thank you 💕
Upstyles for size 18+. How to move us from frumpy to chic too. Love your styles.
I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the third one, but I ended up liking it the best!
Thanks 😊
Ooh, that first blazer has some Western flair! I would have loved to add some pearl snaps or some leather cordage to throw back to a bolo tie!
Those all look so good, but best of all, you gave me an idea on how to cover a pen mark on a shirt I got with embroidery!! 🪡🧵 like you, I hate hand sewing, but I'll make an exception to save my shirt lol
Oh yeah, that’s a great idea to cover a stain! To get through the hand sewing I had to put on a good movie. 🤭
Awesome thanks
Thanks! I wish I could send more. I have been trying to find out how to do the cape jacket forever. Thank you so much because this is the first tutorial of the process that I could understand and follow.
Thank you so much!! 🥹 I’m so glad to help!
As usual, you knocked it out of the park, Angelina!!! BRAVO 🙂 I need these for the winter, so I can layer and keep cool at the same time, thrift store, here I come...thank you!
That heart shirt is so dynamic! And you always look so great in fruit and gem colors!
Thanks ☺️
My favourites - its a tie between 1 and 3. The cape for simplicity of upcycling. Any of us can do that one. But the third with the front cutout and sashiko stole my heart!!!

The back cutout blazer is so cute! 🔥 🙌🏿 I love how they all turned out. Simple alterations to make such bold pieces is where it's at! 🥰
Exactly! Not everything has to be difficult.
I'm here for it ima beginner I have faith I can do this🤣💅
Yes you can! I’m rooting for you. 👍🏾
The last blazer with the inverted circle is the best look imo

Now you know you can style an outfit!!! And I ain't mad atcha!!!! Love them all

I'd love to see you do something with men's suit vests.
All the blazer upcycles are great. And none of them looked very difficult. Thank you for such creative and great ideas!! 🤩😍
Yup, we took a break from the hard ones this week. ☺️ Thanks!
The second one is my favorite! Cuz it looks normal in the front and then you turn around and BAH-BAM!!!
Yesss, party in the back! 🤭
😆
The last blazer is awesome!! I will be heading to the thrift store this week for a blazer.
Thanks so much! 🥰🥰🥰

Thanks so much!! The inverted circle in back sounds really cool too.
I just googled Tamisha. What a tragic ending!!! Domestic Violence is absolutely terrifying. He was her EX, and she still couldn't escape him.
I love the first one. That seems the easiest to DIY. Very classy look.
Thank you! 😊
i love how you styled all of them ESPECIALLY the 3rd one!!!
I appreciate the way that you work. The creativity and the figure it out as you go is my style too, and one reason why I haven't done much sewing before-patterns are too rigid! I like that you don't edit out mistakes either. It's part of the process!
Thanks so much! Glad I’m not alone in this approach because I really used to feel like a sewing outcast.
@@BlueprintDIY what's the fun if you can't improvise a little, right?
These blazers are fabulous!! I love them all but think my favourite is the last one 🎉❤
Thanks Debi!! 🥰

For hand sewing, it can help if you put a heavy duty bandaid on whichever finger you're pushing the needle through the fabric with
That’s a great idea!!
