    Having this RC mojave specific kit with the shock extensions installed today with some 37in yokohama geolander X-AT's.

      @Icepack I love it. Rides wonderfully and looks amazing. I did spring for the Rough Country V2 steering stabilizer to upgrade from the factory one and am glad I did. Only other thing I am adding to it is a set of rough country front control arm drop brackets and a set of metalcloak spring coil correction pads in the next week or so. Had it installed by my local jeep shop that is a Rough County dealer.

      How come RC kits are so much cheaper than some kits? Is that a bad sign being cheaper than some other kits on market?

    One thing to point out with the vertex shocks, the can and will rotate in the bushings meaning the shocks will clatter constantly when off-roading.

    ordered and received this kit w/the Vertex Adjustable shocks from Quadratec . Plan to put them on my 2020 JT LE next weekend! hoping for somewhat smoother in town driving as its my daily driver while still being able to adjust quickly for offroad! Currenty running Nitto 35x12.5 Ridge Grapplers but will be going to 37s once I get my $$ worth out of the 35s!

    I'm wondering about the use of the factory fox shocks. What do the extenders look like once mounted.

    I don’t understand why they offer this kit without caster and pinion angle adjustments, I see no adjustable front upper or lower control arms to set the proper pinion angle and caster on the solid front axle? I would assume this kit would be all over the road and putting strain on driveshaft front and rear without a drop bracket for the center of the rear driveshaft??

    Are rough country shocks like these in the same league as Fox, Bilstein, etc? I like the idea of an all in one kit but I don't want to cheap out on shocks either

      @motorhead_jt21 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Skip the RC N3 shocks. Mine were fine for a little bit but went bad fast. Go with the V2 Monotube if you want a decent shock for the price. Spend a little more for Fox 2.0s if you want a softer ride because the V2s are on the stiffer side (but in a good way).

    There’s no way a lift this high would ride like factory without longer control arms

    I want to lift my Gladiator higher. I have a 3.5 Rough Country lift on it. Is there a way to lift it higher without using a bigger lift kit?

  • @Harvdawg1981
    @Harvdawg1981 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Did you have to change the drive shaft?

    • @onebridge7231
      @onebridge7231 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not required for a 3.5” lift but it does cause the drive shaft bearing boot to wear more as the drive shaft angle changes. I have a 3.5” Clayton Overland Lift kit and will be upgrading to a single drive shaft but it’s not required. Been running my factory driveshaft set up over 2 years with lift kit installed.
