Ya hala 👋🏼 we don't have رائح in MSA. I think you're confused it with another word. But you are right in some situations the ئ will change to ي Like: مئة ـ مية

Hi Kenny, I didn't say they won't understand you😉 and in some Levantine regions they do say it with A so you just say what makes you feel comfortable, this is the nice thing about spoken Arabic it's flexible🙂

With hard "g" it would sound Egyptian, but that's fine 😊

I still pronounce قاموس without the ق and Arabs still understand me when I say aamoos for dictionary
