There's this weird immersive appeal when you're simply reading the short summary between chapters and then watching these full summary on TH-cam. It's as if you're one of Rhodes Island's operators who goes from battlefield to battlefield, only knowing key events that happened from time to time (since you're too focused carrying on missions) and once the battle is over, you're given a complete report of the whole thing going on.

Man they just outright kill Baird at the end. Golding I can understand, she can't bear to face the guilty anymore and take her own life. But Baird ? Does it really necessary to kill her though ? I can see that war is cruel and the way her die by her acquaintance because of war is tragic, but still....
I think the point of Baird's death is to underline how pointless everything that Siege has done so far has been since she's returned to Victoria. She wanted to come back in triumph and save the day, but ended up just falling in with the Self Salvation Corp and not making a big impact, mostly being reduced to a common fighter. Then she finally had an opportunity to be the "Chosen One" and retrieve the Sighs of Kings, only to get Allerdale killed and find out that the sword doesn't even work or do anything, making all of the sacrifices to retrieve it completely pointless. At this point, finally, she just wants to do ONE good thing and save a single person - she isn't even trying to be greedy anymore and just wants to get the last of her loved ones out of the city. And then she fails at that too. Siege has been broken in every single way possible at this point - she is a failure as a leader, a king, and as a friend. Baird's death is important because it signals the death of Siege's hope that she's been desperately holding onto since she returned to Victoria.

As a person who has suffered from suicidal thoughts... i can understand the suffering from Golding, yet her decision is something i am struggling to accept... her line of arguments to choose give up on live almost left me without an argument to keep myself living. Since each person live theirs own hell, the rest of the society cannot simply say something like: "Just try your hardest to live" or something alike. We, those who are suffering or have suffered suicidal thoughts, will not accept so shallows arguments... that even make someone to be more radical and really try to attend against theirs live. So... that part of the Episode make me sad, really ,really sad, beside the "a waifu was killed", it is Suicide... and in a way, Hippogryph kind of celebrate it, wich to me... after all the effort Myself, my family, friends and many other people who help me... it is bad, bordely disgusting. As for the rest of the Episode... i felt the Tragedy is already doing bad. We need a little more hope into the storytelling because, even with the Merc Family reunion, there are not enough vanilla moments to withstand the bitter taste of the rest of the events in the story... and if we add to that the previous Episodes... it makes me wonder, at what point will we be able to enjoy it again? A 6/10 to me this chapter

Not everyone has time to read walls of text between stages when many have little time in the day to play and all that time ends up spent on one or two stages. This combined with all the characters (including random nameless NPCs) in the game having to speak entire monologues to say something that could be said with a few sentences makes it difficult to enjoy the story at certain points.
