    Easily top 8 maybe top 5. Best backcourt in the country, 2 5 star wings coming in. Cade Tyson is an elite shooter, Jaelyn withers is decent. Just signed ven Allen Lubin who was productive in the SEC on a bad team. They need Jalen Washington to step up but they’re loaded

      WITHERS is more talented than he showed...got off to slow start looked unsure for awhile.takes a while to learn the defensive schemes.finished the yr well...he will be a better shooter than last yr..

    As a life long Heels fan I agree with you. The fandom is freaking out because of a few portal misses and is missing the forest because of a few trees. They are vastly underrating the impact the incoming freshman are going to have. I think this team is going to be better than everyone aside from Kansas.

    As a UNC fan y'all are vastly underrating the value we had with Ingram and Bacot. We will have an average at best front court with an elite backcourt. I just don't see us doing well on defense and on the boards. Not to mention we will have trouble scoring in the post. Overall, good team not title contending though. We will hover around 15-20 all season.

    Worthy was my favorite all time Heel followed by MJ then Hans and Jamison. Anyway, the team may get another big before it's all said and done but right now, I do not see them a top 5 team. I think we still have a hole on the front line. Get Hawkins or the 7' uk transfer and I agree they will be a top 5 team maybe seeing #1 for a few weeks.

  • @jaggerbarfield305
    @jaggerbarfield305 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think jalen Washington showed major flashes of excellent defense, little bit of foul trouble but I think he’ll work that out with more time on the floor and bigger expectations. jaleyn withers showed consistent energy and passion and can guard any front court position and probably the 2 if u needed. Lubin is gonna be a beast at 4/5, all though undersized for a 5 I think he could hold his own in most scenarios. Zayden high is a big fella, and we’ll just have to see James brown play before we make any judgements. Drake Powell is the best defender in his class, Seth Trimble is an elite perimeter defender. Rj davis, Cade Tyson, Ian Jackson are all prolific scorers. The whole front court is capable of shooting the 3. Elliot cadeau showed defensive hustle several times, especially after being beat on the previous play, he’d go get a steal and make up for it. And of course he’s probably gonna be the most electric playmaker in college basketball next season. I think it’s gonna be a scary, high flying, fast pace, deep threat team. Nobody is gonna want to play Carolina, I think 3 is perfect spot

    Maybe I’m in the minority but I feel like Washington’s shooting ability is going to open up the lane for Cadeau who excels driving to the basket. My only question is who is going to step up for the 4/5 minutes. Someone will and the Heels will be there ready to make a run in April.

    Under the settlement reached with the Power 4 conferences, each school will have to pay out $20 million EACH YEAR for the next 10 years to pay past players from 2016 onward. The settlement also now has cleared the way for SCHOOLS THEMSELVES to DIRECTLY pay players a salary. Many if not most athletic departments won’t have the funds to compete for top players. Being one of the most storied programs EVER won’t do you any good anymore. It’s ALL about which schools can pay the biggest salaries. College sports is dead. It’s not official, but it’s really close. This is truly sad.
    College sports is now officially PRO sports. 💯 percent. Also going forward, College athletic departments will be required to share a part of their profits with the players as well. Numerous athletic departments will simply be unable to compete, and likely will shut down. Top players will just go to the highest bidder.
    This all came about due to incredibly SHORTSIGHTED GREED. All this conference hopping around hasn’t been done to benefit the schools or the general student body. All this extra revenue has been going almost SOLELY into the pockets of COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES (some make $1 million plus per season), ATHLETIC DIRECTORS, and even STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACHES, some of whom are paid north of $500,000 per year!!
    They destroyed the PAC 12. They destroyed 100-year-old rivalries. And it was all done for their PERSONAL ENRICHMENT. So now we are left with athletic departments trying to figure out how they will be able to compete while having to pay players enormous salaries to guys still with pimples on their faces. This is really very sad. 😞☹️😵‍💫🫣

      They will not be the same type of team as last year, that team was definitely a top 5 team. Shooting will be much improved and more consistent from the outside. I'm not sure who is replacing the energy from Ingram and the inside power of Bacot. I think much more up and down the court and better 3 point shooting. Washington is going to be the key, if he can play to his potential we will be really good.

      People dont listen every announcer that has watch Jalen Washington practice have said he was a great player and didnt understand why he didnt play more. Outside of 5 feet he was better than any big that Carolina had last year. He could outshoot all the guards but RJ last year. Trimble and Cadeau will be so much better. Powell and Jackson are 5 star ballers. Withers was getting better and better as the year progressed. My expectations is J wash 16, RJ 18, Cadeau 14, Withers 12, and Cade 15. Bench High 6, Jackson 10, powell 7, Trimble 10. I expect them to be a high scoring team about 86 a game
