Actually owls are the sacred animal of Athena. Wolves are sacred to Zeus, Apollo, Artemis and Leto. The bee was sacred to Aristaeus. I can’t find anything that says turtles are sacred to Aphrodite. The dolphin, Rose, scallop shell, Myrtle, dove, sparrow, girdle, mirror, pearl and swan are sacred to Aphrodite. I don’t know where you got the rest of your information

I was picking flowers to press the other day and I had sat next to this big patch of what I think was chamomile. I was going to pick it and then suddenly bees appeared out of nowhere and buzzed. It frightened me at first but I didn't mind them.
Then my friends start talking about her alot, and I've always loved her bc she was this pretty and love oriented goddess.
Bees all my life have always been really attracted to me even tho they scare the hell out of me.

I’ve been practicing for about two years now and Dionysus told me that he was trying to connect with me for a very long time. Paradise Danger I’ve been getting signs from Loki, and I asked my pendulum if he wants to work with me and it said yes. I also asked if I would work with 2 deities, the answer was no. 3? No. 4? Yes! So I started asking about as many other gods I could think of, and when I asked if Apollo wants to work with me, it said yes! I’d been seeing suns a lot (decorations, etc.). Then I asked if I would work with 2 male deities and 2 female, it said yes. I asked about a bunch of female deities, and when I got to Aphrodite it said I would work with her! I’ve been seeing a lot of dead bees and roses too. Then I asked about a handful of others, till I asked about Freya. It said yes! But I don’t think I’ve gotten any signs from her yet. I’m still new to this though, how long do you think I should wait and continue my research until I try to contact them? I still need to learn about casting circles and protection spells anyways. But one thing that felt weird was that my pendulum told me that I’m ready to contact deities and that I’m not a baby witch anymore....but I’ve only been researching for a few days and I haven’t even done any spells yet. It makes me worry that a negative entity is trying to trick me into summoning it.

Same, yesterday I asked my Alexa to play a song an she said all the artists name and at the end she said Aphrodite and I was like “What?!?” Bc I’d never heard that before
That is so amazing! Aphrodite is my matron goddess as well and I see bees literally everywhere, and they get close to me but don't sting me and I'm like awe she's showing me love. She also knows that I looooovvve Stevie Nicks and I will hear and see Fleetwood Mac everywhere!! From a coffee shop walking to school, in a movie, in the library, Barnes and noble, everywhere. The last time I went to Barnes and noble I saw an advertisement with Lady Gaga's "Cheek To Cheek" and Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors " and immediately thanked my divine beings. I love the little surprises they leave me and the amazing ways they appear in my life. Two days ago o was crying in bed and while my eyes were closed I felt and kinda saw with my third eye Aphrodite descend to my room and embraced me as a whole being. I instantly felt loved and really knew that she and my Patron God really do care about me and love me.

Aphrodite is my Matron as well. I am still learning about her. She is not very subtle when it comes to signs. I have seen a lot of bees everywhere but it never occurred to me that it was her. I went to goodwill and found this painting of her in near perfect condition for half off...I love her. If you have any other resources to learn more about her please share.

I'm looking into different types of Witchcraft and intend to be solitary. I got chatting in a spiritual shop the other day and found out so much. Sometimes the Spirit themselves might tell you what they like, not always the books are accurate though I cant say. I wouldnt follow books 100% but rather use them as a guideline. This is just my view, your path is yours.

And last night I started on making love oil from roses and I have lilac/ pale lavender roses that I call moon wish roses so idk if that's a coincidence but your gunna love that roses color and it smells so soft:p and I've been getting callings from the wolf and turtle but I didn't know that was connected with Aphrodite. I think Aphrodite is calling me. At first I thought it was loki bc everytime I entered the astral plane I saw a wolf facing me and looking into my eyes. What’s the difference between a patron/matron goddess and a spirit guide or any type of god? Because I’ve been contacted by Aphrodite and I’m a baby witch so I’m not sure of a lot of things. Like can you have matron/patron and still have spirit guide(s)? Because I feel an overwhelming connection to Aphrodite and she spoke to me through my tarot cards the other day and I just started crying because I could see her comforting me and I could hear her saying “it’s okay, my dear. You’ve fought for so long, you can rest now.” And I would never want to disrespect her by seeking a spirit guide if that’s not something I’m supposed to do
Everyone has a spirit guide ^^ its okay, the difference is that a patron/matron is going to help you in divination or in everyday life. But your spirit guide is originally there first to help you, guide you towards the right path ^^ idk I cant explain much but hope this helps- you can actually choose a pateon/matron but you cant choose your spirit guide,

I was also told you can use any necklace with a weight on it, that there doesn’t have to be a crystal on the end...I’m not sure if that’s true. Maybe that’s making my answers a little weird? I don’t know.
