Greatest city in England, its up and coming with building going on all over the city. Unique place with one of a kind dialect and lovely people. Great educational video for people not local to the area you wish to see the real Stoke on Trent.

Thanks for the video. A500 is called the D road because of its shape if you look at a map, M6 is it’s back and the duel carriageway makes the curve from junction 15 to 16.
Also D is the Roman numeral for 500
Ive driven on the d road before. I passed my driving test in 2019 and to my horror, on the test i had to drive down it. it was alright in the end though because i passed.
Looks like a letter 'D' ? Well maybe after a few pints it does. 😀😀

I loved my upbringing in Stoke, but it was rough.
Stoke council has the responsibility for how Stoke is today. How they managed and who managed them is another story ?

I've been to america too, not texas though- florida. Me and my family went in 2013 mainly to see the theme parks. We really enjoyed it. Havent been to texas though

Hi, Sir Reginald Mitchell was not born in Kidsgrove he was born in a village known as Butt Lane in between Talke and the town of Kidsgrove. The property in Congleton Road has a blue plaque stating that this was where he was born. Unfortunately to many people get his birth place wrong

Wow - makes SoT look amazing! Sad though that the pottery works now exist only as a consequence of their listed building status rather than because they actively produce any pottery. Even sadder is that the Robber Baron Coates family are given any space in this production - they have leeched every penny out this city (and much of the country) with their gambling empire. They take a lot and give very little back.

Yes he should have just included Stoke on Trent.
Stoke on Trent only magically becomes North Staffordshire in your head not in this video. Direct us to the point in the video where the narrator says that Stoke on Trent is North Staffordshire.
