I share your hope for BeOnd's success and growth in attracting more passengers in the near future. Their unique offerings deserve to be recognized and appreciated by more travelers.
I enjoyed the review. Beond is a great concept and I hope they succeed. They will have to find a way of increasing the number of passengers travelling with them however, as it is obviously not cost effective to have a plane that is only 25% full. The 2x2 seating arrangement is OK for couples, but not so much for single travellers such as myself. Looking forward to your Maldives reviews.

I read the article on Beyond! In Airliner World. The Author was the only person on Board. My sister and her husband have been twice to the Maldives from Melbourne Australia to Singapore with a stop over then onto Male 4.30hrs. On top of 7.40hrs to Singapore. The other way is via Sri Lanka. So it's quite a distance for us also. That Solar farm outside Dubai is massive. Great video.

This plane is just a dream! Someday, I definitely want to fly business class to the Maldives! On the first day of summer in 2024, I want to make a confession to you! Thank you, Expert, for your work! I'm sure you have inspired many people to travel, improve their quality of life and create TH-cam channels. Watching you, I also decided to start TH-cam, even though I'm very afraid and shy. Thanks to you, I learned about the Maldives and visited them for the first time this year, though only in economy class😂! I hope I succeed! This is the Orient Express of modern-day travel.
Amazing to see a airline just offering proper business class, you know this because it has not sold entrance to their lounge to the general public to make extra profit
As an aviation geek, my fav parts of any flight are the takeoff and landing. So, for me, the refueling stopover would be a bonus...lol. I also like the livery on this airline. I wasn't that impressed with the cabin of that plane, however. It seemed rather cold and sterile, IMO. That open concept severely limits privacy, as well. Also, the lack of legroom when sleeping was surprising. I mean, this airline is just starting out, so changes/upgrades could certainly happen as they add to their fleet. It's going to be interesting to see how this airline does in the coming years. Thanks for another excellent vid, Doc. REALLY looking forward to your latest adventure in the Maldives.
When I was living in New York in the 90s, I said an airline should offer all first class only -- they could charge whatever and make a mint.
Hello Traveler. From an Easy Jet to BeOnd, that's quite a class jump. And the cabin looks beautiful. The futuristic IFE system is interesting, and adds to the ambience of the cabin. The seat profiles, and no "in seat" IFE. It makes for a more comfortable look to the cabin.
"Wait, stop the aircraft, I would like to Para-Glide into Zighy Bay on the Ocean on the Omani coast !!

Coming from other "famous"... "professional" TH-camr (about flights) here is paradise with the great quality of videos comparing with the bad quality painful for eyes videos with ancient camera of the other TH-camr.

Love the video. There's actually another all business class airline named La Compagnie founded in 2013 based in France. Beond seems nicer though.
A lovely review, dear LTE! Loved the linen tablecloths and napkins in the lounge ... but, no restrooms?? Wow! The cabin was a little too open, I thought ... no sense of privacy. The idea of the ipad seems odd. Like kids in the back seat on a road trip. And the food seemed a bit on the underwheming side. Hardly a snack for you, I would think ... lol! What was the purpose of that pole that you popped up during your seat review? Beautiful views after leaving Dubai, and your music was excellent ... !! Wonderfully paced and very well done, kind sir! Bravo!
The pole is a holder for the inflight entertainment screen (iPads)
Absolutely love your videos, they’re spectacular but I hope you go back to placing the captions within the videos. I watch mainly on my phone and I can’t use the full screen and have subtitles on at the same time so having to view this one within the small TH-cam screen which is a pity. Otherwise, amazing content as always!

Great flight. Bit surprising me, first class lounge didn't have restroom and shower, but most importantly restroom. Before I watched the video, especially timestamp, It's impossible to flight this A319 between Europe to Maldives without Stopover in real life, then when I see timestamp they have Stopover for Refueling. I think in current time, this is one of few flight which can be included in 2nd freedom flight category, since in Dubai no unloading and loading passengers, and only refueling + crew change, but only temporary until new aircraft is available. The airline have premium feeling, but it's a bit strange to see ottoman on emergency exit row and the strange between regular seat and seat with ottoman.
OOO - does this mean Soneva again? Yay?? Although everyone in coats so maybe it's old?
Personally I think if there is no direct aisle access for half the seats it should be called Premium economy.

Not sure how old the video is, but many are still in coats and jackets in Northern Europe. It was 45F/7C in my town in England last night and I was in Paris less than two weeks ago with 85% of passengers on the Metro wearing jackets or coats.

Nice but direct aisle access when you need to go not there? And the length of the beds looked short, unless you are very tall. Menus looked nice though.

Looks great, but only if the seat next to me is unoccupied... That's the issue with all these 2x2 narrowbody "luxury" airline/charter operators if you are a single passenger.
What about turbulence in such a small(er) plane? Also, for such an expensive flight the amenity kit looked a bit sad ;-) Other that that: gorgeous design!

Beond offer Business class at prices way below many well known airline companies. In some cases less than half the price. Especially from Zurich where some airlines appear to inflate their prices very considerably. Compare prices from London, Milan and Zurich to see how some are charging double the price from Zurich. I hope Beond are successful and take away customers from the bigger greedy Airline companies.
I live in Munich, where we have our own large and comfortable airport. But in recent years I have been flying mainly from Zurich. It is cheaper to fly from Zurich, and the airport is not as prone to force majeure as Munich airport. Munich airport has big security problems. In recent years, climate activists have infiltrated the runway and blockaded the airport many times. Plus there are constant strikes in Germany right now, which has also lowered the level of security in my eyes.
@@morseanen Zurich remains my choice too. It's just a very good airport, but airlines like Emirates are pushing their prices way above the norm.

Worlds First all Business Class? La Compagnie comes to mind. There have been several tries over the years. There are so few passengers and the pricing is not all that bad. I know I will not get an answer but... Do you feel there is adequate privacy in the seating arrangement?
i love watching these videos, but at the same time wandering how can someone be that rich..😅 am in my 40s, hard working whole my life and never made it to a single bussiness class… anyway, thanks to your videos I can at least enjoy virtually:)

Even Condor Airlines has phased out business class seats that require passengers to climb over someone else to get to the aisle. Do yourself a favor and take an hour flight to Frankfurt and treat yourself on a proper international business class from Condor Airlines.

Have to be honest, and whilst we all know airline catering oft tastes better than it looks, the food didn't impress me much in either portion or visual appearance. Certainly seen worse but I was hoping for a bit more. Of course if it danced across the palate like a delight then it's all good.

Always interesting videos, experiences and tips. My two cents: thumbs down for the ASPIRE lounge in Zurich with bottles of expensive wines, first class menu, danish patisserie but with *no bathrooms and shower* inside...! Frankly ridiculous....! As is ridicolous an A319 100% business class configured, full of amenities and perks but with economy class lavatories....
When showing the safety demo, is there a video and if so must everyone load it on their iPads, or is the demo performed manually?

I wouldn't call them the first by any means, La Compagnie currently flying, Before them there was off the top of my head, Maxjet, Silverjet, Openskies, L'Avion, EoS, Legend and MGM, that's just off the top of my head, so hardly the first, but it is a nice product.

I think the way he described it, it's like they annexed one end of an existing lounge for them. So the original lounge has the bathrooms, they just didn't renovate to construct new ones at their end because technically they're still part of it. Maybe a port-o-potty would fix it 😅
