The stubborn Driver on the turn lane was definitely in the wrong here, Not the driver turning. If the route is designated to turn on that street and you're driving the same route, you're supposed to leave some clearance in case another bus on that route is approaching that intersection to turn, city bus driving 101. It's not about who's right and who's wrong, these are not cars

Ok bus driver here. The bus turning right was 3/4 of the way into his turn the other driver should have allowed him to complete it by not pulling up as he did.
OR the bus was already there and the right turning bus should not have attempted the turn.

The driver turning was in the right, he was already more than halfway in the turn and trying to back up an artic while its turned is bad. Especially with traffic, easy jacknife.
I was thinking the same thing. It's too late to back the turning bus. Backing an artic at an angle is trouble. Even the non CDL Jewish guy could see that it's easier to back the bus that's straight.

@2:16 ~ This is exactly why he doesn’t want it back up, because even with help a pedestrian walks right behind him. Of course he wasn’t in reverse so the bus was not beeping at the time, but how many people are listening to music and have your phones in so they wouldn’t hear it anyway.

Dude turning was in the right. Other bus shouldve stayed back let him straightened out before they inched up. Its not possible to turn a bus from curb lane to curb lane, hes gonna be in the left lane for clearance. Guy with the camera was antagonizing him and he still maintained his composure and was very courteous. Kudos to that gentlemen. MTA needs more good drivers like you.

The driver that had the green light was in the right way, the other driver was supposed to have room for the other driver since both of these buses are Artics.
This is ridiculous. This could have been easily avoided. Instead it's a big service disruption. If I did this with another operator, we both would have been written up. We are expected to be professionals. Let us keep those expectations.

The bus turning had the right of way but could have waited a additional light the other bus violated the stop line on the ground

1st Issue is based on MTA having 60" busses on the road, despite the number of riders, the busses are too long for the streets, 2nd issue is either the drivers are stressed or just too immature and stuck in their ways to communicate properly! Im not a bus driver but i know a few and im a passenger as well as a driver that can use road judgement to understand that busses are big vehicles that require certain space on smaller streets! Both drivers are out of pocket in my opinion!
