Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. The members of Stray Kids were hand picked by the leader of the group, Bang Chan. They are 8 members (initially 9, but one left the group in 2019), Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N (Bang Chan and Felix are Australian). They did their official debut in 2018. Bang Chan together with Changbin and Han, produce the music and write the lyrics for all of Stray Kids’ songs. The rest of the members also participate and have produced songs for the group or for themselves. This is truly a self produced group (not very common in Kpop), with the leader even creating the Stray Kids’ logo. They have won several music awards and have performed for the President of South Korea, and all over the world. They have a huge discography with over 180 great songs, and a large fandom (name of the fandom is STAY). Every member has a very unique voice different from all the other members, and they can blend them seamlessly in one song. Besides being amazing producers, they are outstanding singers, rappers and dancers, and have great personalities and stage presence. Since they produce their own songs they like to experiment with different genres, beat changes, etc, so you’ll find that all of their songs are different, but at the same time they are unmistakably “Stray Kids”. Stray kids compose produce record their own songs. But rap is stray kids perfect craft. To me no kpop group can flow like them. Changbin and han are rap beasts.
Changbin's head scarf and fit is more of a nod to Christian religion. He is wearing the blue shirt and rosary beads with a cross. The symbolism is of a Rap God, which is mentioned in Felix's lyrics, that they run with the God's across the universe. That they are the Gods of their megaverse. It's not cultural appropriation. It's religious.

I LOVE the theme of this MV. The security guard was disrespecting them by DOODLING all over them in the newspaper. This angered SKZ and caused them to break the 4 th wall and arrive in their hellevator to right the wrong. CHANS sweater is covered in DOODLES. The boys morphing into each other stamps we are one. One for all, all for one. Mess with one, you mess with us all. I also love the fact that it is the music that blasts him through the wall and the floor. SKZ replied to their haters the best way they can, their music. If you notice no matter where the guard tried to escape to..... through exit doors, he couldn't get away. Yes, Stray Kids composed their own songs, mainly it is 3 of the members - who are called 3RACHA consisting of Bang Chan (the second person appearing in their MV, the in orange hair), Changbin (the rapper whom you said who knows hip hop, and he does) and Han (the rapper that comes after Changbin). They wrote all their lyrics, make the songs with some other producers (they have a favourite who is called Versachoi) and one of them even arranged their lots of their songs (Bang Chan). So yes they know the lyrics because they literally write them.
That's pretty cool! From what I see on twitter/tiktok it seemed that it was pretty rare for Kpop groups to be involved in production and writing so that's good to know. I'll definitely keep that in mind if I react to them again -really impressed by all three rappers
This group is self-produced. That rapper you like so much is Changbin. He is part of 3RACHA which is a sub unit made up of three members that are the main writers, composers, and producers for the the songs. The other two 3RACHA members are Bang Chan and Han. Bang Chan was the one with the orange hair and Han came in right after Changbin, All eight member sing, rap, and dance. They have all helped write and compose songs too. If want to hear more rap from Changbin and the rest of the 3RACHA sub unit, a couple of their songs are 3RACHA, Heyday, and We Go. The Tortoise and The Hare is good too and has all eight - that one people either love or hate it so it is fun to watch people react to it. Overall, the group's songs hit on SO many genres that it is hard to recommend sometimes. District 9, Easy, Venom, and Freeze, and God's Menu are good older harder songs. Lalalalla is a newer one with Megaverse. An older song that flies under the radar for Changbin's rap is Awaken...other's rap on it too and it has group vocals. Back Door gets you dancing a bit. All of their vocals are really well displayed on a newer song called Cover Me.

Stray Kids are very diverse. They are labelled "noise music" because of their heavy beats, edm, raps, in most of their title tracks. They embraced the "criticism", stayed true to their style and released an album called "No-Easy" (say that fast....."noisy"). They all rap and sing but it's usually a 4-4 split between those who rap more often and those who sing more often. Surprising to most people new to Stray Kids, they also have some gorgeous ballads where all sing, even the rappers. There's lot of info and recommendations already in the comments but i didn't see anyone telling who the chill vocalist you liked was ! That was I.N (Jeongin) the youngest (maknae in korean) of the group and YES amazing vocalist! He has couple solo songs and few that is featuring another member. 미제 (untitled)‚ maknae on top‚ black hole‚ hug‚ and then multiple covers he's done. The first guy Changbin‚ the rapper‚ also has some solo projects. My favorite is streetlight (feat. bang cha) and Cypher. And then multiple songs with 3Racha that i highly recommend ! 3Racha actually started as soundcloud rappers in 2016‚ you can still find their old songs from soundcloud (or from youtube where ppl have uploaded them). Hello! So the members you asked about were Changbin (rapper, and yes he writes his verses) and I.N (singer, real name Jeongin). Stray kids are self produced, the group has a ''producer unit'' consisting of 3 members, they call themselves 3RACHA and they produced/wrote and released songs as a trio before this group was formed, they were 16-19 years old back then, until now 7 years later they have been the main producers and lyricists, but all other 5 members have produced songs and written lyrics too. Kpop have a new trend of releasing ''recording session videos'', Stray kids have behind the scenes videos ''recording scene'' or ''intro recording'' and you can see the producer unit direct the recordings as well as letting the other members make their own decisions. I recommend their songs Lalalala, S-class, Topline!

Rappers are good but vocalists are good too. Skz most songs are rap based sometimes there are no room to showcase their vocals. They showed enough in skz songs what they're doing is already great and very stable live vocalists, especially Seungmin is very stable(I never hear him being unstable from their live performances). They showcased their vocals more on their solo projects. I just wanted to tell skz rappers are great but skz vocalists are great too. All 8 of them are really talented, hardworking.
There is program called “Lee mujin service” in this program idols showcase their vocals and 3 members( Han, I.N, Seungmin) of skz participated. If you’re becoming a STAY it’s one thing you need to watch. Your fav voice I.N is on that show. So i hope you watch that one day. And Seungmin’s performance called “Love poem” you need to watch this one too. There are more but i think it’s enough for now.

I'll give you a few things to help you. Most of the other commenters have let you know about SKZ & the theme of this video. So I'll give you a heads up about other things that might confuse you. A lot of westerners don't understand what K-pop means. It stands for Korean + popular. And what's popular changes from year to year. So it's actually a industry, not a genre. It's an umbrella term that covers everything from cutesy sounding stuff, to hip hop sounding stuff, to rockish stuff, and everything between. Some groups have changed their sound from when they first started, and some have found what suits them & never changed. There are groups that are predominately hip hop, and some that are more EDM based, and some that have that sugary sweet sound that is expected when you hear "K-pop". Most groups have rap lines, and some focus more on that. Some focus on vocals more. Almost every group will incorporate more than one genres into a song. And rapping in a idol group is a very hard thing. There are serious rappers who think that if you are a idol rapper, you aren't a real rapper. You are just doing it to add flavor to a song. And some groups are like that. They just have a "rap line" to meet the token sound that's popular. There are some groups that only have rappers because the idol can't really sing as well. It's few & far between where you can find a idol group that has rappers who are dedicated to their craft & still blend it into the vocal parts without a jarring switch. Stray Kids are a bit of an oddity, because three of the members had actually formed a hip hop group while they were still trainees. 3Racha was made of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. They put together their own tracks & put the music into soundcloud. When Stray Kids was formed, 3Racha was the center & became the producers of the group. When they first started, they were very rap heavy, and over the years they have evened out the rap & vocal. It helps that all the members can rap to some extent, and all of them can sing. They do divide into rap group & vocal group, but they switch members across those to suit the song they made. When Stray Kids (SKZ) are called 'Noise Music', it's normally meant to be derogatory. But SKZ have embraced that title, and are proud of their sound. Since they write 99% of their tracks & lyrics, they can add sounds & lyric styling that isn't heard in most places. Some of the odd sounds that are part of their music that I can think of off the top of my head are sirens, an elephant's trumpeting, breaking glass, some guy reading out side effects, the cawing of crows. And so much more. Most of their title tracks are loud & in your face....But their b-side songs cover so much more. They have softer songs, rock songs, experimental trap, EDM, and so much more. And their lyrics almost all have deeper meaning behind them. Sure they have their flex songs, but they also have songs that raise thoughts & questions about who you are as a person, how you fit into society, how you deal with stress, how love effects you, how depression can seep into your life, how to reach out for others to support them. They have songs dedicated to their fans (Stay) to thank them for being by their side, and to encourage them. Those to me are the true essence of Stray Kids. As far as genres though, they really can’t be defined or contained. They are pretty hip hop/rap/edm focused for most of their title tracks, but can also do beautiful ballads, r&b tracks, rock, & pop. Members tend to have specific positions in the group (main rappers, vocalists, dancers) but with Skz they aren’t defined by those labels as they ALL can rap, sing, & dance exceptionally well. I absolutely LOVE stray kids so much! thank you for reacting to them! They do produce their own music. They have a sub group called 3Racha, consisting of Bang Chan ( 3:43 ), Changbin ( 5:40 ), and Han ( 6:45 ), who write and produce all of their songs together. they have another sub group called DanceRacha consisting of Felix, the guy with the deep voice ( 7:51 ), Lee Know ( 7:43 ), and Hyunjin ( 8:23 ) who are the main dance line and help with some choreography. and then there’s VocalRacha consisting of Seungmin ( 10:52 ) and I.N ( 10:01 ) who are the main vocal line of Stray Kids. Bang Chan is the oldest followed by Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and then I.N is the maknae (or the youngest member). sorry that was so much information all at once 😅 its a lot to process. you should definitely react to more of their songs! The high falsetto backing vocals sound like Bang Chan, the one with copper hair who rapped second. Btw we don't mind someone with opinions and a strong grasp on what they like and don't like, as long as you're respectful to the boys, which I feel you were 😁 Speaking for myself, I had a preconceived notion of what kpop was in my head, so I never even considered giving it a listen before. A little more than a year ago, Skz popped into my TH-cam algorithm, and now they are all I listen to! As a Binnie (Changbin) bias, also known as Seolars after his sir name Seo, I was smiling from ear to ear at your fascination with his rap! The man is talented and has studied rap for the science it is! He an Han have spoiled my palate when it comes to rap so I really can't go anywhere but Skz! The vocalist you kept pointing out is I.N, or also known as Innie, agi bbang- baby bread in korean as he's our maknae/youngest member. His designated Skzoo character is a fox, and his striking features look just like that! Innie was 16-ish when they debuted, so his voice has matured during the almost 7 years, coming to this beautiful tone he has now. Almost hauntingly beautiful, his voice when he bleeds emotion into songs and covers. Also one of the prettiest smiles in the world but so fierce when not smiling, giving him a crazy duality! ❤

When you have listened to enough that you are in live with this group (😂) it can be fun to dive into the MVs, in order, to learn some of the lore. It can get confusing, because there are multiple stories (universes) going at once, and the Kids never actually explain any of it. But the theories and speculations are part of the fun!

I was quite surprised when I saw them myself … If you notice throughout the whole styling aside from the first two the other 6 all have some sort of cross reference on them. You ask why they wear certain things. I think this is for advertising purposes. All SKZ members are representatives of popular brands. And fans buy items from the brands that the guys wear.
Stray Kids are one of 2-3 groups that put out more than the bubble gum pop everyone expects. Ninety percent of k-pop groups are just carbon copies. Over the last couple of years there have been a lot of attempts to copy SKZ music. They write and produce 99% of everything they put out. The man at the end of the video was Tablo. He is in the Korean HipHop group Epik High.

I actually like your reaction cause your perception of Kpop is so different from what Stray Kids bring in kpop. They have plethora of genre. You can share us your kind of music and we’ll probably find something you’ll like. They produce and write at least 99% of their discography and 1% with other producers in their industry. They are also known for mixing different genres in one song that not many like it at first but it became a signature of Stray Kids to be able to mix and match genres seamlessly and they have over 100 songs now. Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. The members of Stray Kids were hand picked by the leader of the group, Bang Chan. They are 8 members (initially 9, but one left the group in 2019), Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N (Bang Chan and Felix are Australian). They did their official debut in 2018. Bang Chan together with Changbin and Han, produce the music and write the lyrics for all of Stray Kids’ songs. The rest of the members also participate and have produced songs for the group or for themselves. This is truly a self produced group (not very common in Kpop), with the leader even creating the Stray Kids’ logo. They have won several music awards and have performed for the President of South Korea, and all over the world. They have a huge discography with over 180 great songs, and a large fandom (name of the fandom is STAY). Every member has a very unique voice different from all the other members, and they can blend them seamlessly in one song. Besides being amazing producers, they are outstanding singers, rappers and dancers, and have great personalities and stage presence. Since they produce their own songs they like to experiment with different genres, beat changes, etc, so you’ll find that all of their songs are different, but at the same time they are unmistakably “Stray Kids”. Stray kids compose produce record their own songs. But rap is stray kids perfect craft. To me no kpop group can flow like them. Changbin and han are rap beasts.
Changbin's head scarf and fit is more of a nod to Christian religion. He is wearing the blue shirt and rosary beads with a cross. The symbolism is of a Rap God, which is mentioned in Felix's lyrics, that they run with the God's across the universe. That they are the Gods of their megaverse.

Yes, Stray Kids composed their own songs, mainly it is 3 of the members - who are called 3RACHA consisting of Bang Chan (the second person appearing in their MV, the in orange hair), Changbin (the rapper whom you said who knows hip hop, and he does) and Han (the rapper that comes after Changbin). They wrote all their lyrics, make the songs with some other producers (they have a favourite who is called Versachoi) and one of them even arranged their lots of their songs (Bang Chan). So yes they know the lyrics because they literally write them.
That's pretty cool! From what I see on twitter/tiktok it seemed that it was pretty rare for Kpop groups to be involved in production and writing so that's good to know. I'll definitely keep that in mind if I react to them again -really impressed by all three rappers
This group is self-produced. That rapper you like so much is Changbin. He is part of 3RACHA which is a sub unit made up of three members that are the main writers, composers, and producers for the the songs. The other two 3RACHA members are Bang Chan and Han. Bang Chan was the one with the orange hair and Han came in right after Changbin, All eight member sing, rap, and dance. They have all helped write and compose songs too.
If want to hear more rap from Changbin and the rest of the 3RACHA sub unit, a couple of their songs are 3RACHA, Heyday, and We Go. The Tortoise and The Hare is good too and has all eight - that one people either love or hate it so it is fun to watch people react to it.
Overall, the group's songs hit on SO many genres that it is hard to recommend sometimes. District 9, Easy, Venom, and Freeze, and God's Menu are good older harder songs. Lalalalla is a newer one with Megaverse. An older song that flies under the radar for Changbin's rap is Awaken...other's rap on it too and it has group vocals. Back Door gets you dancing a bit. All of their vocals are really well displayed on a newer song called Cover Me.

That was I.N (Jeongin) the youngest (maknae in korean) of the group and YES amazing vocalist! He has couple solo songs and few that is featuring another member. 미제 (untitled)‚ maknae on top‚ black hole‚ hug‚ and then multiple covers he's done.
The first guy Changbin‚ the rapper‚ also has some solo projects. My favorite is streetlight (feat. bang cha) and Cypher. And then multiple songs with 3Racha that i highly recommend ! 3Racha actually started as soundcloud rappers in 2016‚ you can still find their old songs from soundcloud (or from youtube where ppl have uploaded them).

Hello! So the members you asked about were Changbin (rapper, and yes he writes his verses) and I.N (singer, real name Jeongin).
Stray kids are self produced, the group has a ''producer unit'' consisting of 3 members, they call themselves 3RACHA and they produced/wrote and released songs as a trio before this group was formed, they were 16-19 years old back then, until now 7 years later they have been the main producers and lyricists, but all other 5 members have produced songs and written lyrics too. Kpop have a new trend of releasing ''recording session videos'', Stray kids have behind the scenes videos ''recording scene'' or ''intro recording'' and you can see the producer unit direct the recordings as well as letting the other members make their own decisions.

Rappers are good but vocalists are good too. Skz most songs are rap based sometimes there are no room to showcase their vocals. They showed enough in skz songs what they're doing is already great and very stable live vocalists, especially Seungmin is very stable(I never hear him being unstable from their live performances). They showcased their vocals more on their solo projects. I just wanted to tell skz rappers are great but skz vocalists are great too. All 8 of them are really talented, hardworking.

There is program called “Lee mujin service” in this program idols showcase their vocals and 3 members( Han, I.N, Seungmin) of skz participated. If you’re becoming a STAY it’s one thing you need to watch. Your fav voice I.N is on that show. So i hope you watch that one day. And Seungmin’s performance called “Love poem” you need to watch this one too. There are more but i think it’s enough for now.

I'll give you a few things to help you. Most of the other commenters have let you know about SKZ & the theme of this video. So I'll give you a heads up about other things that might confuse you.
A lot of westerners don't understand what K-pop means. It stands for Korean + popular. And what's popular changes from year to year. So it's actually a industry, not a genre. It's an umbrella term that covers everything from cutesy sounding stuff, to hip hop sounding stuff, to rockish stuff, and everything between. Some groups have changed their sound from when they first started, and some have found what suits them & never changed. There are groups that are predominately hip hop, and some that are more EDM based, and some that have that sugary sweet sound that is expected when you hear "K-pop". Most groups have rap lines, and some focus more on that. Some focus on vocals more. Almost every group will incorporate more than one genres into a song.
And rapping in a idol group is a very hard thing. There are serious rappers who think that if you are a idol rapper, you aren't a real rapper. You are just doing it to add flavor to a song. And some groups are like that. They just have a "rap line" to meet the token sound that's popular. There are some groups that only have rappers because the idol can't really sing as well. It's few & far between where you can find a idol group that has rappers who are dedicated to their craft & still blend it into the vocal parts without a jarring switch. Stray Kids are a bit of an oddity, because three of the members had actually formed a hip hop group while they were still trainees. 3Racha was made of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. They put together their own tracks & put the music into soundcloud. When Stray Kids was formed, 3Racha was the center & became the producers of the group. When they first started, they were very rap heavy, and over the years they have evened out the rap & vocal. It helps that all the members can rap to some extent, and all of them can sing. They do divide into rap group & vocal group, but they switch members across those to suit the song they made.
When Stray Kids (SKZ) are called 'Noise Music', it's normally meant to be derogatory. But SKZ have embraced that title, and are proud of their sound. Since they write 99% of their tracks & lyrics, they can add sounds & lyric styling that isn't heard in most places. Some of the odd sounds that are part of their music that I can think of off the top of my head are sirens, an elephant's trumpeting, breaking glass, some guy reading out side effects, the cawing of crows. And so much more. Most of their title tracks are loud & in your face....But their b-side songs cover so much more. They have softer songs, rock songs, experimental trap, EDM, and so much more. And their lyrics almost all have deeper meaning behind them. Sure they have their flex songs, but they also have songs that raise thoughts & questions about who you are as a person, how you fit into society, how you deal with stress, how love effects you, how depression can seep into your life, how to reach out for others to support them. They have songs dedicated to their fans (Stay) to thank them for being by their side, and to encourage them.

Those to me are the true essence of Stray Kids. As far as genres though, they really can’t be defined or contained. They are pretty hip hop/rap/edm focused for most of their title tracks, but can also do beautiful ballads, r&b tracks, rock, & pop. Members tend to have specific positions in the group (main rappers, vocalists, dancers) but with Skz they aren’t defined by those labels as they ALL can rap, sing, & dance exceptionally well. They’re called the Ace’s (namely, Han) of kpop for a reason.😉 To truly see all of their versatility, i’d for sure suggest checking out damn near their whole discography🤣 but specifically, Blueprint (one of my fav songs & MVs of theirs🥹) Get Lit, Topline, Case 143, DLC, Winter Falls, Back Door, Red Lights, Venom, Maniac, Surfin’, Easy, Chill, & Any🙌🏽 can’t wait to see more!

Hello! If you listen to SKZ songs, you will understand how universal and multi-talented they are. Their songs can be completely different. Maniac, Venom, Freeze, Taste, Red Lights, S Class, Hall of Fame - they are different from each other and at the same time amazing.

I absolutely LOVE stray kids so much! thank you for reacting to them! They do produce their own music. They have a sub group called 3Racha, consisting of Bang Chan ( 3:43 ), Changbin ( 5:40 ), and Han ( 6:45 ), who write and produce all of their songs together. they have another sub group called DanceRacha consisting of Felix, the guy with the deep voice ( 7:51 ), Lee Know ( 7:43 ), and Hyunjin ( 8:23 ) who are the main dance line and help with some choreography. and then there’s VocalRacha consisting of Seungmin ( 10:52 ) and I.N ( 10:01 ) who are the main vocal line of Stray Kids. Bang Chan is the oldest followed by Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and then I.N is the maknae (or the youngest member). sorry that was so much information all at once 😅 its a lot to process. you should definitely react to more of their songs! The high falsetto backing vocals sound like Bang Chan, the one with copper hair who rapped second. He's the leader and one of producers, and he's the one who adds most of the hidden vocals tracks in the arrangement process. He has a beautiful high range.

The group has debuted in 25/03/18 and the members are:
Bang Chan (26Yo The Lider) , Changbin (24)(the rapper that you liked so much) and Han (23)(the second rapper). They are also known as the producers and songwriters - 3Racha subunit.
Lee Know (25)(the guy that always looking dawn to the guardian, Hyunjin (23)(the third rapper) and Felix (23)(the deep voice guy) also known by the name of- Dance Racha subunit . All of them have solo songs composed by themselves.
Seungmin (23)(the first vocalist that came in) and I.N (23)(the second vocalist that yo liked so much) as the Vocal Racha subunit. They have released solo cover songs.
They all are skilled in dancing, they all can rapp or sing and lately all of them are getting intrested in songwriting and producing.

As a Binnie (Changbin) bias, also known as Seolars after his sir name Seo, I was smiling from ear to ear at your fascination with his rap! The man is talented and has studied rap for the science it is! He an Han have spoiled my palate when it comes to rap so I really can't go anywhere but Skz!
The vocalist you kept pointing out is I.N, or also known as Innie, agi bbang- baby bread in korean as he's our maknae/youngest member. His designated Skzoo character is a fox, and his striking features look just like that! Innie was 16-ish when they debuted, so his voice has matured during the almost 7 years, coming to this beautiful tone he has now. Almost hauntingly beautiful, his voice when he bleeds emotion into songs and covers. Also one of the prettiest smiles in the world but so fierce when not smiling, giving him a crazy duality! ❤

It took you over five minutes to get through the first few bars of the song. Why speculate about the music before you’ve actually listened to any of it? Supremely frustrating. Stray Kids are one of 2-3 groups that put out more than the bubble gum pop everyone expects. Ninety percent of k-pop groups are just carbon copies. Over the last couple of years there have been a lot of attempts to copy SKZ music. They write and produce 99% of everything they put out.

I actually like your reaction cause your perception of Kpop is so different from what Stray Kids bring in kpop. They have plethora of genre. You can share us your kind of music and we’ll probably find something you’ll like. They produce and write at least 99% of their discography and 1% with other producers in their industry. They are also known for mixing different genres in one song that not many like it at first but it became a signature of Stray Kids to be able to mix and match genres seamlessly and they have over 100 songs now. Also their rappers can sing and their singers can rap as well. Stray Kids is the only kpop group I fully support cause of how unique they are from other groups I’ve seen. They are amazing live performers as well so I hope you check out live performances and their other songs too.
