Just as correction, Mazda 929, 626 and entire Eunos (Millenia) lineup have had phenomenal high reving sixes with Cosworth GBA F1 origine and were more effitient and reliable than comparable BMW engines.
It is a beautiful design and, like comments here, I don't understand why they don't follow through with an actual model built this way. The sales would be terrific, I would think.
