Dot, everything about the quaint, sweet, enchanted cottage video is exactly what I needed (and loved) this morning! It is absolutely beyond charming. . What an amazing job you have done! (And I do believe you have a new addition to your wardrobe - your patience pants!). You have every reason to be proud of this creation! Wow! ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️.
Oh Kathleen, you are so kind and encouraging! Truly! 🤗 I do like the cottage and it's exactly what I had in mind. Yes, I have some patience pants that are wearable but they're mostly stuffed in the bottom of a drawer. Lol. Are you going back to the dollshouse estate sale this weekend? There's a bunch of us that want to tag along! 😂 Keep us updated on your spoils. Feel free to email me with pics and video of all your finds! 🥰✨😘
This is beautiful, like a fairytale cottage it turn out awesome You did a wonderful job, thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Oh thank you so much Eve🤗 That's very kind of you! I get so excited when my projects turn out as imagined. 🥰✨
Mossbark Cottage is so cute
Susan🤗 I see what you did there. Love it! Mossbark Cottage 💕🥳
Hello Dot, it's so pretty, you did an amazing job with it. The bark really does look like flat stones, she has almost everything she needs in there apart from a bathroom, you'll have to build her a tiny matchbox sized outdoor loo lol.
Enjoy your week away.
Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊
Hi Diane🤗 Ever since I saw your comment I've been thinking of a lavatory or toilet for Charlotte. Oh my- having it outside is brilliant! It would be good for her. Stay tuned to see what I can pull off! Thanks for the idea! 🥰💕✨
I bet you could use some tea or coffee with a paintbrush along the edge of the white lace to stain it, without getting it on the ribbon. Just don't have the brush too wet. Just an idea.❤ Look for a small package in the mail from me in a few days. ❤ The stonework and moss are beautiful!! Using the bark was a great idea, and you got such nice colors without having to paint it! ❤
Oh you silly girl, sending a package! 🤗 I will treat the lace the way you've described, I just haven't done it yet. 😆 I'm so happy I used the bark. It was actually really relaxing and enjoyable. I'll be out of town until next week but I'll let you know when I receive your package. Thank you in advance sweet friend! 😘🥰✨
Ohh No...... It's the attack of Catzilla .... Just kidding 😉😹
The cottage is so adorable. Nature's cozy haven. I'm sure Charlotte will enjoy her little home in the wilderness.
Haha yes Sandy! 🤗 Do you have cats? They enjoy nothing more than taking over important space and trying to upend everything 😂 Charlotte is happy with her cottage, so what more could I ask for? 🥰✨
@@thedollcupboard I used to have cats. (One even had the nickname 'Catzilla'😸) One in particular loved to *help* me paint by walking, laying, or chewing on my paintings as I was working (non-toxic watercolors on paper, so no kitty harm resulted). She'd also try to drink the rinse water (or my drink) if I didn't keep them covered. 🤣This kind of *assistance* also applied to all crafts I would do 😹. I do miss my little helpers. ❤
This came out too sweet Dot you really had your patience pants on . I am not this person 😂😂😂 I loved the door idea great call it looks amazing . ❤❤❤❤
Aw thanks SO MUCH Grace! 🤗 I think it's easier to be patient when I can go from waiting on glue from part of the project to working on something else. This kept me busy while seeming to be patient. lol. The best decision I made on this project was to use mod podge and forego grouting. I'm happy with my (I mean Chatlotte's) little cottage. Sorry you're still waiting on me 😔. Tell me what you're working on. 🥰✨
The bark stones turned out very nice 👍🏻 it looks like a fairy house hidden in the woods camouflaged from humans❤😊
Just what she wants! Thanks Kara🤗 I need some mushrooms sprinkled on the property! 😉😄😍✨
The cottage turned out so cute! I really enjoyed the way you used the different materials. I go craft supply shopping in nature while I'm out for walks too lol, collecting bark, leaves, stones, acorns etc etc.
It can get a little troublesome when your dolls are out their expressing their opinions, but naming a cottage is a very important thing so you need to get it right!
Supertinywhimsilistic is such a great channel! She is so talented.
Hi Nessie🤗 Thank you! I do love this little cottage since it turned out quite as I imagined! I too go "craft supply shopping in nature" nearly every day. There is a tree on the corner that drops little mini pumpkins and gourds this time of year. (I have no idea what it really is). If I get them before they're mushy they are perfect for a fall/Halloween scene. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. 🥰✨
Lucky Charlotte! She has such a cute cottage to stay in.Love the bark and the tissue paper windows you should be very proud what you've created from a little box.Cant wait till you both agree on what to name it.Best wishes from Yorkshire Dales England.
Aw thank you so much Robin🤗 I am rather chuffed as you say across the pond (love the word chuffed)! Even Charlotte is pleased, so I know I did okay. 🥰✨
Thank you so much. By the way I love your little cottage that you made.
I love this little cottage! It turned out beautifully! A very special little home.
Thanks so much Mary! 🤗That Charlotte, she holds me to a standard I can barely meet sometimes 😅💕🥰
Oh, and now she has a setee to have the vapors on.🤣😂 Very cute.
Omgosh yesssss Vicki 😂😂😂 You know her so well! 🥰✨
@@thedollcupboard hahaha
Sooooo Good ❤
Aw so kind ThrifterNH🤗🥰✨
This series was such fun, I really love it. You’ve given me some more ideas for the mushroom house I’m planning to make 😊
Hi Lorraine🤗 I love mushroom houses! I think this little cottage could do with a few mushrooms on the property. 😉🥰✨
I'm enjoying your videos so much.😊
Aw thanks Maria! 🤗 I enjoy sharing with everyone ! 🥰✨
Coming back from the nightshift I just wanted to have a little bread and a peek into the channels of my favourite creators before falling in my bed- the slice was falling out of my hand when I saw my own channel mentioned in your video!😂
Thanks so much for promoting my little channel, Dot, I havn't seen it before! 😍
I'm glad, that I was able to inspire you! Charlotte's home came out so cute! I love the idea of a foldable house! I even collected bark for an upcoming project and now I see, that it was a good idea!
Best wishes, Chris 😴
Hi Chris🤗 Night shift? Are you a nurse perchance? 😬 At any rate, I have no doubts your "little channel" will be very big. Love to know what you are doing with your bark 🤔 I hope you got lots of rest. Night shift is hard whatever the job🥰✨
The argument you had was valid! lol I completely agree with you about imperfections giving charm! I know how it feels to love a glue, I talk about my crafters glue all the time, but I cant help it, but like you said, I just know how it works. love the bark well done!!!
😂 If it weren't for charming imperfections, I wouldn't be able to do a thing! 🤣 I felt so relaxed when I took out my mod podge. I knew everything would be okay..😌 😂🥰
@@thedollcupboard I really feel that statement in my core! 🤣🤣🤣
This project is brilliant.
It was so much fun to see it materialize🤗 Thanks for watching. 🥰✨
Nice video 👍👍
Thanks FireKing! 🤗✨
Hahaha!!! You said, "Here it is, and I'm going to call it . . ." I thought you were going to tell the result of the naming battle; and then you said, ". . . done!" 😂
Oh my gosh..me too!!! 🤣 I thought the clip was a different clip then I heard it. 😂 It worked out perfectly. LOLOLOL! 🥰✨
I love it you have done a fantastic job correct me if I'm wrong but did I see a sneaky bit of egg carton being used? Don't care it's wonderful.
Hi Elizabeth! 🤗 You caught me! 😉😂 I did disclose the egg carton chimneys and hole filler, but I didn't use any as "stones", not that there's anything wrong with that. LOL! 🤣🤣🤣 I actually really want to try egg carton stones or pavers because I love the texture of the material and how real it looks c Have you used them? Thanks so much for watching! 🥰✨
That is beautiful ❤
Thanks Magda🤗 This was one of my favorite projects 😍✨
Stinkin" cute! I bet you had fun! What is the little box hanging from the roof? I may have missed that part.
Hi Suzanne🤗 Ya it was fun! I actually found the elements of this project quite relaxing, not at all tedious. The little box is the battery for the lights inside. (I showed it more in the video in the interior, I think). I decided not to secure it since it won't be seen much. I need to be able to change it out. Maybe I can construct a little mossy compartment to hold it in. 🥰✨
I thought that you put the roof on a hinge so you could tuck the light up on the inside under the "roof." Wouldn't that work?
@marygatdula2744 Oh Mary, if only I had thought to do this 🙈😩 I was only thinking about changing the lights and having access to the holes in the rooftop. As soon as I saw your comment I tried it and it doesn't fit. ( too large) 😭 Please don't tell Charlotte. 😘
@thedollcupboard LOL. I quite understand. I had in mind to do the light for my "fire" in my heart one way, which would have worked, and then, for some unknown reason, I ended up doing it another way. Now my battery pack is exposed, and I have to sort of camouflage it. LOL. It's just one more mistake. Good thing I'm not going for perfection!
@@marygatdula2744 Aww. We think our brains are doing so well..and then ! Kpow! 🤣Lolol
Adorable. What did you use for the mossy surface, is it a product that you buy or make
Hi Nancy🤗 The simple moss is called Blended Turf. Comes in a huge shaker bottle I got at Hobby Lobby for 8.99$. They have similar on Amazon. It's sold with other products used for mini railways and such. The more grassy moss I made from floral foam shavings and dollar tree reindeer moss and mixed with glue. I made a video (there's a cottage playlist) where I (disastrously) sampled different things, but I put links to products in the description. Hope this helps! The turf is worth purchasing imo. 😍✨
One more thing, hehe, she needs a sign outside her door that reads something like 'visitors welcome upon invitation only'. She is rather snobbish.
She IS a bit of a snob but then she thanks me and says the cottage is beautiful so I can't help but love her 🤣 She read your comment and is fully in agreement about a sign. The other Charlottes told me they're not ready to visit her yet. Lol. Thanks for making me giggle Vicki! 😂🤗🥰✨
@@thedollcupboard Well, you know, these little dolls become real people to me with their own personalities. I perhaps have a screw loose.😜😍
@@vickinoeske1154 The looser the better my friend! Me too! 🥳🤣
@@thedollcupboard You're too funny. I'm glad that I'm not alone.😁💕
I like my "loose screw." It sets me apart from boring and stuffy! 😂
