Next thing we are walking together to a ice cream parlor in Harvard Square. We had a great talk about music. Wow! How real is that. I can not thank him enough for all the great music he gave us. I cried when he died. After I discovered “The Harder they Come” in 1974 - I must have carved the words “Pressure Drop” into a dozen desks at my high school - he gave me as much joy as any artist. He died because of bad luck, contracted the damn plague early... so this video fills me with both happiness and pain. This is 2017, he’s no kid and listen to how wonderful he sounds, how magnetic, how filled with energy, how great his voice was at an age regarded as advanced. I saw him about 10 times, including with the original Maytals in 1977, and consider myself lucky. “Never Grow Old."

This reminds me of my local record joint where I used to buy reggae. Time tough was playing over the speakers and the dude running the shop hooked me up with the in the dark record and loved them ever since. Good memories of the shop sadly its not there anymore. Now its a fucking sainsburys.😭
