Solid interview. Listening to the intelligence and eloquence of Rachael only makes me love her more. Can't wait for this album.

I love grey and white cats! I've had over a dozen over the years, mostly just one or two at a time. But the two that I recall most fondly as both the smartest and most affectionate were both neutered grey-and-whites.
There at 9:00, when her sweetie popped into frame, my heart jumped and I smiled from ear to ear!

Enjoyed the interview with this obviously intelligent women.
I’m new to the band, and really enjoy the freshness of their approach to music and Rachael’s beautiful voice.
I’m from Cambridge Ma. and there is a Lake St. and can’t help but wonder if the “dive” is one of two or three decker apartment houses on Lake St.?

I was curious about the title of their band too and found out that it is called Lake Street Dive because of McDuck’s hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. There is a street with a lot of dive bars.

They took their name from a strip of "DIVE BARS" From where they played in Minneapolis

I'm 71 years old and I never had a problem with the woman's movement. Unfortunately for me, my 1st wife decided I was the villan and actually I was just too stupid to figure out what the problem was. So she divorced me. I won't go on. I'm just saying I felt like I was hit by a truck. Now my second wife has died from cancer and I'm all alone and my first wife refuses to talk to me.

sorry man. A similar thing happened to me but I am much younger. Pretty sure it was just my fault but I didn't understand, I think my mistake was being with the wrong woman, she was quite awful.

Same age, similar story. It's been 30 years since that beezotch has bothered me. Be glad the old witch is silent!

I’m only 16, so I couldn’t understand, but forgive me in saying that I think women at this point are just fighting to be number one and they act like men are the bad guys. I’m in bands with all girl singers, and I know plenty of working women who are completely happy with their lives, and they are all treated completely equally. In my opinion, some women just want to have the stereotypes of pretty, polite, emotional people taken away, and I don’t think that it will ever go away. Maybe I’m just misunderstanding their point of view. Sorry for your losses😔
