Most Disney Channel shows are terrible, in my opinion, but That's So Raven and Wizards of Waverly place were great. The actors were all good and the shows were just over the top and super entertaining.

A gifted actress, such a charisma, naturally hilarious! That's so raven has been and is still my favorite show. I also loved how the actors portrayed her parents. A loving, warm, cool family. Nothing can cheer me up more than watching the show when I feel depressed.
I read a few months ago that the reason that Raven Symone looked a lot darker on That's So Raven compared to Raven's Home is because she was pressured by Disney to go to a tanning salon every few weeks because they told that her being darker would be more appealing to viewers and it made her look more beautiful. That's sad that Disney would do that.

The explanation of the episode "Going Hollywood" serving as a pilot for Hannah Montana makes sooo much sense to me now. I remember not liking the episode since it seemed to focus more on the child actress rather than the main cast- I wished they had at least incorporated Corey more by having him 'teach' her about being a normal kid, maybe even having her go to his school so he can see the vast different to how she's treated on set vs in public school, or getting popular due to her celebrity status & asking her to help him get an acting gig so he can make it big too. I get they did this on That's So Raven as it was popular and to test the pilot idea on the audience they were looking to aim the show at, but it would've been better to give it it's own air time rather than sharing it with another show. I couldn't find myself thinking "wow, I really like this girl's character, I want to see what else she gets up to after this" instead it was more along the lines of, "why isn't Corey involved in this more if this is *his* episode? Why did they change the main story from Corey getting to be on tv to a famous girl wanting to go to public school?" Don't get me wrong, I loved Hannah Montana but I don't think this is the way to air a pilot/new show idea.
I admire Raven's strength, it's not easy being a lighter skinned black person especially when people confuse "what" you are, in high school I tanned due to band and people thought that I was Mexican until I started tanning. I still deal with colorism but it's good to know that even role models struggle with the same issues.

At 4:52, this episode is one of my number one favorite That's So Raven episodes. I remembered watching a behind-the-scenes mini documentary on Disney Channel, of how this episode was made. And I thought it was very funny, because Raven actually played the entire family. And after that I had to watch the episode, and later on I did. I thought it was one of the greatest That's So Raven episodes, and should I say the most hilarious one. Because Raven played every single character throughout the episode. I also thought it kind of reminded me of all of the movies or one of the movies of The Nutty Professor starring Eddie Murphy, because I remembered in all the movies or one of them. Eddie Murphy actually played every single character. I'm sure that's where they got the influence to make this episode of That So Raven

I always thought it was really cool that raven’s mom was working on her degree. I don’t know why I found that so inspiring as a kid. I guess to show that women that are older than their twenties can still work to achieve things. I feel like society has a weird way of acting like once mom’s have kids their lives are over.

Going Hollywood wouldn't have been such a hot idea. A Child Star living a normal life is kind of lame. What made Hannah Montana was that Miley was STILL a Famous Pop Star at night and in the morning lived a normal life in the daytime. THAT'S a good idea for a show.
That's so raven was my fave show as a kid. I remember when they came out with a that's so raven clothing line. I had a few pieces. I use to try to do some of her hair styles and say "oh snap" the way she did. I even wanted to be a fashion designer at one point in my life because of her character! I wanted to be her so bad lol. Now I'm a mom of two daughters and I got my 8 year old into that's so raven and I also watch raven's home with them and it's funny watching this show as a mom and raven's character being a mom. This show will always have a special place in my heart, there was no other show like it and never will be.
I used to watch this show when I was 6 but I forgot about the show because I didn’t even understand English. When I grew up I kept thinking about a show with a black girl that has a vision and can see into the future and here I am found it on Disney+ and watching the full 4 seasons. This show brings back some memories 💖
Basically there was a show called the famous Jett Jackson on Disney Channel that talked about the same thing about Hannah Montana but it was the first show to do that. And was the first show to star an African American. So in conclusion Hannah Montana wouldn’t have been here without The Famous Jett Jackson there you go.

Maybe it was people of her own race who was speaking against her. She doesn't mention either way, so her choice of words could be accurate.

I never realized a That So Raven episode was the idea for Hannah Montana!
Going Hollywood wouldn't have been such a hot idea. A Child Star living a normal life is kind of lame. What made Hannah Montana was that Miley was STILL a Famous Pop Star at night and in the morning lived a normal life in the daytime. THAT'S a good idea for a show.
My partner and I spent the holiday weekend bingeing That's So Raven. Couldn't have been better spent.

That's so raven was my fave show as a kid. I remember when they came out with a that's so raven clothing line. I had a few pieces. I use to try to do some of her hair styles and say "oh snap" the way she did. I even wanted to be a fashion designer at one point in my life because of her character! I wanted to be her so bad lol. Now I'm a mom of two daughters and I got my 8 year old into that's so raven and I also watch raven's home with them and it's funny watching this show as a mom and raven's character being a mom. This show will always have a special place in my heart, there was no other show like it and never will be.
I used to watch this show when I was 6 but I forgot about the show because I didn’t even understand English. When I grew up I kept thinking about a show with a black girl that has a vision and can see into the future and here I am found it on Disney+ and watching the full 4 seasons. This show brings back some memories 💖

Basically there was a show called the famous Jett Jackson on Disney Channel that talked about the same thing about Hannah Montana but it was the first show to do that. And was the first show to star an African American. So in conclusion Hannah Montana wouldn’t have been here without The Famous Jett Jackson there you go.

This was my show. I was so happy to see my girl back on the screen. Had no clue that’s the same set from Saved by the Bell. That’s pretty dope. I would’ve loved to see the movie

Grew up watching this.... Been watching it again on Disney + still funny and reminds me of the good times
people always big up Zendaya, Selena and Miley but Raven was always my favourite, especially with her different accents lol she and her cast were real comedians not to mention great singers, as well as Demi who was also an underrated singer.

Speaking of That’s So Raven being filmed on Saved by the Bell’s set, her house looks an awful lot like the Full House set too. I don’t know if it is, I kind of doubt it because there are subtle differences and researching it nothing pops up, but if anyone knows and wants to clarify, that would be great!

I remember these show when I was growing up. Its so funny and cleaver as fuck man. So there's a re make of it now? I didn't know that? Is it as funny as the old one do? I hope that it is? I watched a little bit of Ravens Home, not as funny as the original, the only thing that really even makes it funny is because of Raven and Chelsea. Other than that it’s like every other cheesy non funny show on Disney now a day’s. But that’s just in my opinion.
