Yes,me too ! I have decided that I would rather leave my lovely house than put up with any more of his abuse. He can have it .I will have peace and my family around me.That’s worth much more than a building.
If your plan is to rent for 1-2 years, then I would go with option 2 because it made you happy. When you're ready to purchase your next house, then focus more on location. That's what I would do.
Girl, Option 2 - you literally sounded like a different person when talking about how happy the light made you. I also personally like the space better. I can understand hesitancy about location, but what about the location concerns you? You’re able to work from home so would it be the proximity to schools? Grocery stores? Shopping and nightlife? Ask yourself how many days you would be driving and how far. The space is so beautiful I want to see you in it lol.
Nothing option number one because that place has like two it’s not like it’s dark. Number two you have to go to sunblock a lot because too much light can actually affect your skin as well and sometimes too much light will affect your sleep.
@@IVvOOvVI it’s funny because I immediately thought about how I would need to wear a lot of sunblock moving into a place like that. Lol, but I don’t know at the end of the day. One tip I can give you about apartments is to read the reviews on them. Does maintenance come that day if something is broken? Do they like to give a lot of fines for trivial things? Are the people happy there? Reviews can say a lot. Hoping for the best possible outcome though! I am really rooting for you Brittany!! ❤
I agree with this! Also the mail room situation, that used to drive me nuts when I rented. My mail/packages would go to a mail rooms that were very very poorly managed and they lost so many of my packages 🙃
@@tinkerbell2939 There are lots of different reasons that certain apartments give out fines. For example the one in Florida would fine you if you didn't clean up after your dog. There were also fines at every apartment I've lived in that you couldn't have a trash bag on your door step for over 24 hours. Each day was a fine. Just based on the feel of the apartment, I like number 2. But not sure what makes one location better than the other or what’s wrong with the #2 location.
Option 2..... Please make yourself happy and heal yourself. Then your kids will be happier when you are happier. You don't plan on staying there long, and the kids will be fine for 1 year or so there.
Love them both. I would take the one that is closest to your support groups (family). They both seem to be high up. Do you worry about your children and the balconies?
#2!! The bedrooms aren’t right off the living room giving the illusion of larger. The architect on 2 was stellar. He really did a great job of creating the illusion of large. The bedrooms in #1 are right off the living room. Think about that?! Your life will be one of constantly tidying up or close the bedroom doors, making the remaining space look really small.
That's what I said on the last vlog. It's sad that this didn't end up being their forever house. But now she can live in a house completely free of his existence. I wouldn't even allow him in the driveway for child exchanges.

You've got this kiddo! You need to consider all of that outdoor space in each complex as part of the "square footage" available to you & your kids. You may also want to go back on a weekend to revisit both sites while there is more family time visible to see how many actual families with kids at similar ages as yours live there. I think negative thoughts and feelings have their place. The key is to not dwell there too long ... but it's healthy and healing to allow yourself to be sad/hurt/angry and think and feel everything that is associated with those thoughts and feelings. That's how you grow and ultimately get stronger. Though it's not pleasant, constantly denying it, pushing it away... not allowing it isn't healthy or productive... it keeps coming up for a reason! But do limit the dark clouds... it's not healthy to wallow in all the dark stuff for days on end either, you need balance, you need both, the sunshine and rainbows 🌈 but also the darkness. ❤ This approach will chase the dark clouds away the most effective and efficient way possible because you are allowing it instead of constantly denying it, it's not going to just magically disappear until you face it and deal with it.
I got divorced after the pandemic. I was crushed, but I finally realized that I was with a liar narcissist and I was trapped in a toxic cycle. I was not only putting myself through pain, but I was also affecting people around me. Mental health is very important and sometimes is hard to break a cycle. I was able to rebuild myself and bought my own home at 27, focused on my career and my health. After 4 years of being single I met a wonderful man who treats me like a queen and loves my parents as much as I do. We got engaged after only being dating him for 3 months. We have a beautiful baby boy and im living my best life with him. You will get through this and you will find peace and happiness in your life. Im glad you are changing your moto and thinking about the positives. Just remember we are all here for you and we are sending lots of positive thoughts your way! 😘😘
Please stay positive. It all comes back around. #1 location. If it is close to your parents or school Win Win. It is just somewhere to lay your head. I would be outdoors with my children. That's where the fun is. Love the sweet gift.
As someone that lives in an apartment I'm so excited for you to move and start decorating exactly how you want!!!! No compromising. Make it as girlie and cute as you want 😊
Ryan, I know you are watching. Get your sh!t together and let your children stay in their childhood home. Be a man and let your kids stay. Stop being so mean and think of your children and their future! Man up!!!
Whilst I agree such people do not like to be told. So seeing such comments can fuel his unjust behaviour even more as they often want to rebel and do the total opposite what’s good and beneficial for everyone. He clearly doesn’t care about his kids if he’s taking them out of a big house with a pool in a nice neighbourhood and makes Brittany having to consider apartment buildings which can be more risky for little kids and a single woman.
I like Apartment #1 because while you're cooking, you can see what the kids are doing while they're in the living room. It just looks more kid friendly to me. I think you're doing great!
I like number one. Kids don't need a big place, they will think of a move as an adventure. My 2 were happier with less stress and a new room they could help decorate. Continue the positive and taking control, in the end you will be super proud of yourself and will appreciate all you have learned. Hugs
Thank you doodle common areas that they can play in. We can take them out and just explore this space but still have Atticus base is better for your mental health because that means less cleaning.
Had to pause the video on option 2. Listening to you talk about option 1 and then I paused at *6:13* because not sure if you realized but immediately everything you said was a positive, uplifting, calm, happy feeling regarding telling us about option 2. And I love it!! (The apartment and hearing the smile while you talk about beginning a new journey). Ok continuing the video :)
#1 was pretty, but it seemed too narrow and dark to me. #2 was more open, bright, and felt more relaxing to me. Plus, the view looked amazing from what I could tell.
Great reframes girl!!! Having faith that there IS light at the end of this tunnel is everything!! In 10yrs you'll look back and be SO HAPPY you escaped and being in the same house won't even matter. Which apt doesn't really matter much either since it will be temporary. Each day is one day closer to your BEST LIFE. We're all rooting for you!!!
Personally, I love Option #1. Option #2 was beautiful but floorplan was split up more - not as open. Beautiful, light-filled place, but all the windows with children (fingerprints) would personally drive me crazy. Good luck!! Praying things will level out for you in 2024.
If option #2 brings you to a happy place, then I would say that this should be your choice. Location is important, but as someone who chose a condo based on location, I regret it. There was another home I ended up passing on because of location despite it being the perfect vibe and layout. Having an ambient space will really help your mental health, especially since you work from home. ❤
Renting is a great idea for this season of your life. The freedom and flexibility to move whenever you need to or want to is amazing. You’ll love having that flexibility and you’ll look back on this stage of your life so lovingly because you’re able to focus on yourself and your children. Congratulations on this next happier phase of life ❤
But higher energy bill with all the sunlight. I love it though, and would pick that one for sure, for myself. I live for light. But we don’t know the details on location preference, and also - the fingerprints with your two little ones. It WILL drive you crazy, I can almost guarantee it. Especially with the place being as small as it is, and no way for you or the kids to get away from it.
Option #2 is stunning! I think as long as it’s not in a worse area concerning safety, it’s worth it! Also off topic but do you have a link to those shelves behind you at 8:57? I’ve been needing some like that!
I love number two better but if you really need to be in a better area or closer to a school then make that choice. All the windows and the light is really lovely in number two.
Option 2 because it's so much brighter and the patio is bigger. If you are not "out and about" a lot, then the location will be okay, especially if the apartment is in a keyed complex. You are so positive already, the 2nd place just brought out more happiness (in your voice).
I love how bright the second option is. It’s absolutely breathtaking. I like all the amenities of the first one. Sooo, I would go with the one that is safest for you and the littles.
Option 1 would be less scary to the kids because it’s more cozy and small. Perfect place to allow them to adjust to the change. Option 2 is BEAUTIFUL too but maybe when they’re a little older and already use to the separation.
2 house. Please take your time to heal! Life is not a sprint, is a maraton. You will find joy and love again, prohabs not as you thing in the moment. You will smile again and feel the sun warming your face. You will think about this situation as a short, hart time that you manage with grace in you life. you will have a great life! Don't worry it will be as I said, you will see! ❤❤❤
Option 2 is my choice, I love how much natural light comes through and it’s way spacious from option 1. It will be enough for you and your kiddos and furbaby.
Brittany, your positive attitude is amazing! We should all be thinking that way! Thank you for being open and transparent with your viewers. It's refreshing to see!
Hi Brittany. Hands down number 2. The light in that unit would make me happy. Not just because it's bright but it came across as a pretty blue light on video. Feeling good is very important. So I think you have to consider what makes you feel good. Happy mom equals happy kids.
I like number one and the location is what you want I would consider a huge cabinet along the hole wall where the TV is now to provide extra space for the kids toys and stuff on the bottom and other things on top since you’re downsizing from a full-size house, I would move the TV to the corner between the windows and the sofa with the back to the table
I liked both places, and I agree with you, Brittany, that location is very important, so number 1 is better!! Keep hanging in there! Better times are in your future!!!!
Brittany I would choose number one. The location is most important for your children. The apartment is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. You’ll have your house again in time. One step at a time. Blessing ❤
I like the fengshui of option 1. Love all the light of option 2, but not all the angular features. Also, option 1 with the crazy amenities, even more than one can ask for.
Hi Brittany, I’m a longtime follower here. You’re so strong and are such an inspiration through these difficult times. I’m so sorry for all you’re going through. Everything is going to work out for you as you have such a positive outlook. You’re paving the way for a beautiful future for you and your little angels. Happy to be part of your YT family. ❤

I really think both are beautiful and knowing you, you will make either space beautiful. I see what you mean about the second one having good vibes and being light and bright! But I think the first one with furniture was so warm and cozy. I don’t think you can go wrong and sometimes a fresh start helps with the healing process
I want you and the kids to keep the house. Buy him out!! I know it will be a large amount. However, you will get to keep what's yours. I believe you can. I know your success will continue to grow even bigger!! 😇👩👧👦

You aren't alone. So many of us are in similar shoes to you. As someone currently struggling in a similar way, watching your videos help me a lot!
I think you should do everything possible to stay in your home. It'll be stressful & expensive initially, but worth it in a few years. Moving in addition to a divorce are 2 major life stressors. Try to avoid moving. Keep making videos & getting sponsors to increase your income & buy him out. The children need the comfort of their home & especially the bedrooms they've known since birth. I'm 72 yrs old, divorced when my kids were little & moved so many times. I now know that I should have stayed in their childhood home.
I loved your advice on how we can “feel our feelings , but then we can choose which way our thoughts go.” That was very helpful to me. We found out some health news about my child that wasn’t great. I’ve been having a hard time wrapping my mind around it , but I felt like the advice you shared really will help me. Loved your video! Can’t wait to see which apartment you choose if that is the path taken.
Love the lay out of #2. I’m looking forward to see what the future holds for you. I have a really good feeling that incredible things and opportunities are coming your way. Bigger than you can ever imagine. Sending hugs and prayers. 🙏💕🩵
AHHH BRITTANY YOU ARE BEING SO STRONG AND POSITIVE youre awesome. Life has big ups and downs no matter who you are, this is just a part of your story but not your end. You will rise from this.
I feel like based on what you said about location, I would pick number one. The second one was beautiful, but you can’t “fix” location issues. You can decorate and make any apartment your own and kids don’t care about the amount of space, they are usually pretty resilient. Schools, safety, access to other places like grocery stores, that’s what matters, in my opinion. Hoping for the best outcome for you and your kids! 🙂🫶🏻
When you don't know what to do, Jesus Christ, the son of GOD, will guide you! Just pray and ask Jesus what to do. He will show you the way!! Jesus will always guide you in the right way. Blessings to you sweet Brittany ✨️🙏🌷😊💕🥰❤️
Apartment #2, for the beautiful healthy sunshine. The master bath is gorgeous! And the view as well. One thing, do they have laundry hookups in the units? That is a deal breaker for me. Also, I need that smoothie! 😊
Brittany, something I wish that someone made me do when I got divorced is buy an RV. With what I wasted on an apartment, I could have gotten an amazing gently used RV (so no depreciation) and still had it later. There are legit land yachts out there (and you won't realize how much like a house they are - especially ones with slides - until you see them), and the market looks super good right now. You could have a whole new set of adventures to vlog, and there is so much stuff to enjoy learning and doing with your hands (just know there is a learning curve and to not judge how much you will like living in an RV based on the first two weeks if you are feeling like some resource management or organizational tasks are more complicated - becomes second nature). If nothing else, go tour some RV's for vlogs at all different pricepoints!!! It could benefit a lot of your followers in different life circumstances, because not everyone will think of this. Most people think that they are trapped into renting. But with an RV, you can take the entire house to a state or national park for quality time with your kids - no packing (just shopping for s'mores - and they make vegan/vegetarian healthy marshmallows now). I am in an RV right now, and it's been pretty interesting so far! I just got back from spending quality time with a friend at a state park.
I absolutely love Option 2! The lighting and views are everything, and the layout makes it look more spacious! ❤ I also live in San Diego and will be looking for a new apartment next year. Would you be willing to share any of the places you toured but didn’t end up choosing? I completely understand if not!! I’ve been following along and am rooting for you and your happiness. I pray things fall into place for you and your family. Thank you opening up to sharing your journey with us!
@@vasseurbeauty exactly! Or how to make a “temporary space” still feel like home without permanent things. Or to go with your “making my bedroom feel like a 5 star hotel” you could do “making my apartment feel like a 5 star resort”. The content is writing itself
I’m so happy you are doing better! I remember when i was in the thorns. I came out a much happier stronger person. My life is awesome now! Both of those apartments are awesome!
Honestly I would pick #2 because I am big on energy and feeling , and especially with all the change that’s happening in your life , I feel like you need a place that will give you good , positive happy energy -and that’s the first thing you noticed , how happy place #2 made you feel . I think in another time and place , location would take priority -but right now , you need those good vibes ☺️ Imagine how cozy it would be at night seeing the night sky and feeling that breeze !
I like option #2. It's not the ideal area you'd like, but if you're only renting it for 1 year, that goes by so fast! All that sunlight could do wonders for you and your mood.
Option 2️⃣🤍🤍 !! As someone else already noted, you just sounded way more excited as an initial gut reaction. I think it’s gorgeous, especially with all that natural light and white furniture but of course only you know your situation and how valuable the location is. I would give anything to be able to afford a place like that 🥲
Number two because of the huge/more private? seeming patio. Put a lot of big plants, trees, comfy patio loungers, unbrellas out there and it can extend your living space for you and your kids. My son and I have a nice sized patio that is south facing and we spend a lot of time out there. I love all the big beautiful windows/views in number 2 and your voice really sounded so happy about that one.
the end of anything is difficult, packing up old memories and having to say goodbye to someone you used to care about. But after all the stages of grief you will have a whole new set of new beginnings to look forward to. The tough part is definitely the legal battle. Stay strong! You've got this (:
Option 1 - seemed more spacious and in better area. You say you plan on spending more time outdoors so the light you love in Option 2 you’ll get plenty of
Option 2 for sure. I hope you can stay in your current home. I don’t think interest rates or housing prices are going down anytime soon. Refinancing might be a better option - that can also be done again when/if rates drop.

Im glad you are changing your moto and thinking about the positives. Just remember we are all here for you and we are sending lots of positive thoughts your way! 😘😘
Option 2 is my favorite, looks spacious, airy and bright! 😊 regardless of which one you choose I hope it brings you the peace you need! 🙏🏼
Make it as girlie and cute as you want 😊
yesssss
My favorite thing about leaving my ex fiancé was getting PINK DECOR without judgement 🩷🩷🩷
Option One. It's gorgeous. The outside is beautiful. Location IS very important.
Ryan, I know you are watching. Get your sh!t together and let your children stay in their childhood home. Be a man and let your kids stay. Stop being so mean and think of your children and their future! Man up!!!
I agreeeeeee!!!!
Amen
Whilst I agree such people do not like to be told. So seeing such comments can fuel his unjust behaviour even more as they often want to rebel and do the total opposite what’s good and beneficial for everyone. He clearly doesn’t care about his kids if he’s taking them out of a big house with a pool in a nice neighbourhood and makes Brittany having to consider apartment buildings which can be more risky for little kids and a single woman.
Agree!
😂 you have some balls! That’s his house and he should take it and his children too!
I love option 2. Sunlight gives me so much serotonin, so all that light would be amazing when I am going through a harder season of life.
I noticed that too! She seemed much happier with #2
Option 2 speaks to her soul. That's where inner healing happens in a happy space
Option 1. Location is a huge benefit especially if it saves time in your day (commuting, etc.) The kids won't mind less space (plus less to clean! :)
Option 1 is more cozy and probably more comfortable for your kids
Love option 2 unit, but from my experience, i'll always choose a house based on location.
This!!! Location and safety is so important especially with kids.💛
Option 1 for sure! If it’s temporary, go with the less nice but better location apartment 100%!! Location is everything.
Option #2 is amazing but you are soooo right about location. You’re a mom and you know where the kiddos are safer. ❤ keep your head up momma ❤❤
I like option 1 if accessibility and location is better. Everything will be better... Everything will fall into place, Brittany ❤
Personally, I love Option #1. Option #2 was beautiful but floorplan was split up more - not as open. Beautiful, light-filled place, but all the windows with children (fingerprints) would personally drive me crazy. Good luck!! Praying things will level out for you in 2024.
GOD has a better plan for you Brittany! I will be praying for you to stay strong and be happy!! Love you sweetie 💖✨️🥰💗
Congratulations on this next happier phase of life ❤
Apartment 2 just gave me good vibes. Love all the light and the view!
I know now looking back I'm leaning towards that one. Sun and light makes me happy
@@vasseurbeautyCheaper electric bill also not having to put lights on all day with all that natural light coming in !
Love you Brittany!!!❤️❤️❤️ You are so strong!💪🏼
It’s 100% big enough for them. But being in a higher floor with small kids would drive downstairs neighbors crazy
Wherever you live, you will make it amazing ❤
I have a tattoo that says "C'est la vie" to remind me that life brings many challenges, some more than others. It always helps me put things into perspective.
Love option 2. All those windows and brightness would really be good for mood uplifting vibes!
I really think both are beautiful and knowing you, you will make either space beautiful. I see what you mean about the second one having good vibes and being light and bright! But I think the first one with furniture was so warm and cozy. I don’t think you can go wrong and sometimes a fresh start helps with the healing process
Number 1 looks cozy and the facilities are amazing! Loved the skyline in 2 though
I loved option 2 but you go for what makes you happy!!!
A great affirmation : My point of power is in the present moment ! ......it helps anxiety
I love option 1 ❤ keep your mantra, I loved it 😍
option 2 hands down... you're envirinment is so important...its so beautiful ♥️
I want you and the kids to keep the house. Buy him out!! I know it will be a large amount. However, you will get to keep what's yours. I believe you can. I know your success will continue to grow even bigger!! 😇👩👧👦
AHH I get the chills just hearing and seeing your strength. You are absolutely SO incredible for shifting your thoughts to be helpful and positive! Sending you SO much love and support!
I’d go with location . But you can’t beat the views in option 2
Option 2 because that lighting!! 😍🥰
Option 2 is gorgeous! But location is important
Things will definitely work out. Transitions are super hard and can be confusing. But it will work out!
Option #2 is my dream house, choose # 2
the bright light made me happy
Apartment 2 for SURE! You even said it made you happy! If it’s a little bit outside your area, that’s okay! Those views are soooooo stunning!
1 because of location but 2 is amazing.
Think of the apartment content!
small space organization content !
@@vasseurbeauty omg this brings me back to the old days of your channel!
Use the equity of the house to buy him out surely? Could your mum give you a loan she has a company right? So unfair that you need to move.
also I would have to refinance at the current interest rate of 7% (I currently have a 2.8% rate) so it's just likely not going to be viable
@@vasseurbeautyOK, hopefully it doesn't come to that. We are all supporting you Brittany ❤
@@vasseurbeautyWelcome to the real world. Any divorced person will tell you this.
Honestly I would pick #2 because I am big on energy and feeling , and especially with all the change that’s happening in your life , I feel like you need a place that will give you good , positive happy energy -and that’s the first thing you noticed , how happy place #2 made you feel . I think in another time and place , location would take priority -but right now , you need those good vibes ☺️
Imagine how cozy it would be at night seeing the night sky and feeling that breeze !
Option 2 looks amazing! Waking up to that view would be so healing ❤️🩹
Option 2. I feel like that place will make you happy. The light is the best and the space does really give better vibes
I love option 2! Wherever you move, you'll make it HOME, beautiful, loving and a happy environment for you n the children.
I would give anything to be able to afford a place like that 🥲
2 - loving the sunlight windows
Number two because of the huge/more private? seeming patio. Put a lot of big plants, trees, comfy patio loungers, unbrellas out there and it can extend your living space for you and your kids. My son and I have a nice sized patio that is south facing and we spend a lot of time out there. I love all the big beautiful windows/views in number 2 and your voice really sounded so happy about that one.
Defo 2 - it’s gorgeous, the views - wow - and the joy you had in your voice when you saw all the light in there
Apartment 1. Keep it simple, and you’ll appreciate the good location everyday
the end of anything is difficult, packing up old memories and having to say goodbye to someone you used to care about.
