    Wow ❤ Finally a creative use for those tins besides holding threads or tidbits 😊 My neighbor has a table with free stuff in her front yard and there are a few tins on said table. ❤ I guess one of those tins will be coming home soon 😀 Thank you for sharing your talents ❤

    That ring is fantastic! 😍 You are my Shero, Laura! I have wondered how to get the metal edge on tin (earrings, for example).. I thought I'd have to file the design off with a Dremel to expose the metal. But, now I know ... Thanks to you! 😄 Thank you so much for sharing your talent and your knowledge ~ 🙏🏾 🏵️ 🌼 🌺

    What size solder wire are you using for this project?

    • @LauraBethLove
      @LauraBethLove  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't use solder wire, I use low-temp soft solder that does not come in a size, its simply on a spool

    So pretty! Now I have to go thrifting to find these tins. :) Can I ask - what temp do you set your soldering iron for lead-free solder?

    • @LauraBethLove
      @LauraBethLove  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @DebE I don't set it at any particular temp for every project I do...and it would definitely vary from person to person since we all are not using the same soldering irons and solders! Keep an eye out for my new soldering iron jewelry book coming soon, it might be very helpful for you!

    So, can you squeeze this and adjust it with the solder applied?

    • @LauraBethLove
      @LauraBethLove  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should adjust it before soldering as I mention in the video. You can gently shape it afterward but it should be done to the size you desire beforehand.

    I love your TUTORIALS! This particular video seems to be of poor quality. Not sure if it is your video or my tablet but I wanted to let you know. Thank you for your great TUTORIALS.

      It might have been your internet connection! That or be sure to go to the little gear at the lower right side of the video (settings) and click on quality and increase it to HD.

    Hi! Very beautiful work! So, I didn't get what is this thin silver "tape" you put on the borders... Could you tell me what material is this?
