Plenty of space for a large family! I see there is a door from the front reception room into the central hallway that would allow it to be a dining room with better - but not ideal - access to the kitchen. On the first floor, having one double bedroom with an ensuite is a benefit, and though the other bedrooms are smaller, they'd work for a family with each child having their own space. The entire second floor could be considered the master suite, with the secondary bedroom being a nursery or office. The location within walking distance to at least a few shops is helpful.
