2) this
3) putting items into the manual upload, respawning (only with keep inventory), saving the game and loading it quickly. game gets tricked into putting the items from the manual upload into those slots again after you load because its still in ram/memory and it didnt get properly flushed

Tips for this
1. You don't need to remove the poles
2. You can put a splitter/merger in the middle to perfectly align the stuff with snap(hold ctrl)
3. all you have to do is get them all in the belt, put the 4 splitters, remove the 4 splitters, it is done

exploits are never the same as cheats to me
@@TuxedoDogss curious to know why. To me they are literally the same. None of them are meant to be in the game, nor are they part of the experience the devs meant for the players. Only difference is that in one, you are abusing a bug instead of installing a mod or using the console, but they both have the same intention, do something that you shouldn't (at least for a normal experience, you can do whatever you want).

@@agusscitems/other things you cheat in you didnt gain legitimately, items/other things you get by exploits you did gain legitimately, however through unintended ways. worth noting that if something is an exploit or not is entirely decided by the developers.

....You could probably make this faster by making a blueprint of the long belt with one merger and the storage container, then just place it, feed it, and dupe on repeat

@@gamebuster800 You just build everything up to the point where you delete the final merger in the blueprint machine and then save that as the blueprint :) It works fine, just tested it :) Makes the process much faster.
@@gamebuster800 it works great in the blueprint designer, it dont even have to be a square you can fill the entire area with belts.
@@gamebuster800 I got it to work as a blueprint, I even doubled the length of the belt to take up to 100 items per run you do.
With Mrk. 5 it is very fast to dupe items.

you can make snake blueprint with one merger left in BP designer mk2 and put about 200 items on
@@XEyedN00b I just tested it and you can actually make a blueprint with multiple layers as a single, long belt. Just welding the up/down bends is a bit tricky. Haven't tested how far you can take it, but 5 layers works just fine.

beautiful in it's simplicity and amazingly expandable. i don't even think it counts as cheating though since exploit is literally one of the core tenants told to you in the beginning of the game
This gave me a heart attack because I did it with hard drives and as soon as I connected the storage they just VANISHED. Nowhere to be seen. But as I disassembled the merger the belt had an invisible double amount of them. Very fun and very distressing!
I can verify this is still working. I now have a whole bunch of Mercers and Somers!!

To make snapping the mergers easier place a container in the center of the loop, then place a container outside the loop in the 2 directions your center container doesn't face but aligned with the input or output facing the center of the belt joint, that way you can just hold Ctrl to snap the mergers in the exact center where the belts join. Leave the containers and rebuild the loop to duplicate repeatedly. A larger belt loop helps to duplicate more. I ran into some issues with items disappearing if the belt was full, and not duplicating if there wasn't much on it.
Ada/Aliens literally says do not loop the loop. I think this is a kind of "Easter Egg" Exploit.

@@Akyomi I don't know really. The "Aliens" speak in very fleshy metaphors but I remember them saying with regards to duplication, do not loop the loop.

Why not just upload the save file to SCIM and edit the inventory? That has always worked and is much easier.

I can assure you, it really doesn't ruin it. I use it for little boosts, to make the start a little smoother

I'd say don't. UNTIL you have all the unlockings from MAM, at that point just duplicate and have infinite storage/uploading.

@@samuelt8825 You can go to "Satisfactory Calculator" to the interactive map. There you can upload your save file (might have to look up where that is stores). On that side you can manipulate a bunch of different things but for getting sommersloops you can edit your inventory or the inventory of chests. Afterwards you can download the edited save file and put it where your old save is. Now you can load it in game.

One thing i noticed: it also duplicate the ressources used for the belt as well.
They just released a patch yesterday. I think so. It's going to be at least another couple of days
Edit: it will probably be weeks. They have said they are focusing on more game breaking bugs and things that people will run into in normal gameplay. Things like crashes, language packs, stack split size, server issues are probably all going to be above this.

thinking on it, there is a chance they just might not patch it out all together. as it is a set up not normally ran across when playing and is very easy to avoid doing if you dont want to use the exploit. all it does is be a in game method of obtaining more materials that is easily do able with the satisfactory interactive map/save editor.
thank you for the video, here are two things i discovered for everyones info:
1You cant make it bigger than this , if you do all the items will just disappear (i dont know what happenns when u make it smaller but i doubt that would be usefull anyway)
2you can make this a blueprint , if youre lazy just like me you can make the setup a blueprint just leave the last merger with the container and u have easy and fast duping)
Definitely recommend doing this on blueprint you’ll thank yourself later

Just tried it, made a blueprint of the 100 item version, made a couple hundred jetpacks to sink, then I was like... I'll just dup the tickets, made a hundred or so, thought about dupping the hard drives, felt guilty about cheating myself out of the fun of getting them on my own, deleted the blueprint to not tempt myself.

Yeah, probably gonna get fixed. They just forgot to add a check for wether a belt leads into itself.
Considering this is a 1min fix and the game already offers creative mode, I don’t see a reason for them to leave it in.
You can add all of those things to your pioneer inventory by using satisfactory calculator. Takes like 1 minute and doesn't affect acheivements

LOL - Game Breaking! I managed to get it to work the same, but 3x3 grid! Dupes literally everything in the game! Not just SS, MS and HDDs.. Thanks GB :P Game Over...
I was however, already half-way through Phase 4 Elevator before I saw this... Just Zoooped me to Tier 9 n Phase 5 quicker than expected.
Tip: Use splitters next to your connection points to mark splits and align mergers
EDIT: You can blueprint this right before you take down the last merger. Loop. Rebuild. Repeat.
1. Belt capacity is determined by belt length. Belt length is determined by distance between connection points.
2. More than 4 connection points can be used. Conceptually, as many as you want. This means infinite belt length depending on the amount of effort you want to put in.
Definitely a faster process if you use faster belts.
discovered that you can technically layer this by using an industrial storage container, doing 2 lots of duping at once
This could be fun to use in speedruns of the game (project stages, and even a whole game run might not take forever to do)

I noticed it also duplicates your resources to build the belts. For example if you used Mk.4 belts, you would also double your encased industrial beams when you dismantle the belt.
Tried this and it still works. Side note: i tried it on a larger scale and it worked as well, just make sure to delete the 3 mergers or splitter BEFORE adding items. i had 100+ power shards on the belt, when i deleted the mergers while the items were on the belt all of my shards disappeared. Hope this helps, happy duping!

the game is much buggier than previous updates and it shows.

As someone with 2400 hours in it since update 5, it's not even close. this is the best the game has EVER been. this is one tiny bug in the most ridiculous edge-case that I'm baffled this was even found without taking decades, like Mario 64's new speed running bugs

i figured this out before you did also you can stack the belts then connect the center to the next top layer then repeat til you get about 7 or 8 layers then connect the center of that top to the start it also fits in the tier 2 blueprint maker

so if you left the last merger BEFORE you connect the last conveyer and put the setup in the blueprint, it also works!
EDIT: That one last conveyer also works in the blueprint! I wasn't sure WHY it works like this,...... and still does tbh!
Make the last step a blueprint and it will always work and it will be super efficient, hope this helps 😮
At this point just use the save editor and save yourself the hassle.
But you have to load your save into the manager duplicate the items and then put your save back, with this you don’t even have to tab out of the game

i made a blueprint of this thing in the step just before you delete the last merger and it works so you can "automate" this lmao
Well in the name of efficency you can blue print a mk6 belt in the mk3 blueprinter pre loaded with items and a longer belt and by the time the blueprint finishes building the belt is already loaded.
You can blueprint belt/chest contents? Really?
You can blueprint this process to speed up having to build it every time. Just be sure to delete the conveyer stands.
Leave the mergers, belts, and attached storage unit...
Also, to dupe large amounts, just make the loop larger.

Also, you can Blueprint the last step when you put storage down, with Mk.2 you can dupe 100 items per turn and it takes you 10 sec to do it
ok this is nice.
while for most items its trivial whit somersloops and poweraugumentors its completly breaks the game. u could just slam lets say 100 poweraugumentors and get a ton of power. while normal the maximum would be 10.
Yeah it's also very useful for remote outposts. Just put a power augmentor and done hah

You can always just use the satisfactory calculator and edit and storage containers to have what ever you want in them
works on server as well. If you want to do more items at once, just make the belt loop longer. I am duping about 200 items at a time now.

Just tried this and it worked, thanks. Have you experimented with making it bigger/adding more conveyor space so you can add more items to duplicate at a time? Now that you explained the mechanic I feel like there's gotta be a way to scale this up
You might be hard limited by the maximum belt size, so your circle could only ever be as large as one belt. I’m gonna experiment tonight and see if that matters.
@@JokerDoom This is untrue - the merged belt (and already is) larger than the usual belt length limit. I'm sure you can make it any length you want, although I do expect something to break eventually.
i filled a mk2 blueprint designer with zigzag mk5 belts i can fit 240 items on the belts. so you can go as bit as your belt weaving skills can take you. but only on a single layer, going up and down dosent work for me at least
And here I was thinking I needed to wait for mods to work again to spawn in mergersphere's or run around forever searching with scanner in my hand.
The longer the rail the more dupes you can make. It is not accurate by saying it’s only 50 items. It is best to use blueprint as well.
I am wondering if multi floor construction is possible, to increase the dupe even more.
I litterally made (in the blueprint designer) a square "column" of 1 single belt that goes up like a spiral (up to the top limit of the designer) and come down again to the last merger that you have to delete to duplicate the items that are inside the belt at that moment...the whole spiral probably can contain thousands of items at the same time (that gets duplicated in 1 sigle passage)...I called the blueprint the "SUPERDUPER!"
I could probably dupe in 1 passage the whole content of a continer if I want (depends on how big are the stacks of the different items)...but I will try NOT to use it cause it defies the whole purpose of the game...
I've already seen a post on Reddit where someone made a multi level construction, it is very much possible.
@@dimercampariniThe purpose of the game is having fun. If your idea of fun isn't to run around the map finding collectibles, using this exploit will not go against the purpose of the game.
@@paulelderson934 I totally agree and will use this for the mercer spheres for sure, cause after a while going to hunt for them is tedious and meaningless...but I will try to "complete" the game without abusing it too much for any other mechanics of the game...otherwise it start to be even pointless to play it.

ah I see, because the new belt replaces the old two, it tries to place a belt where the center is at the split and pathfinds both ways to their respective endings. the belt isn't actually duplicated but rather layers itself on top of itself as it replicates the items at the position where they get merged

If you duplicate tickets for the awesome shop, it is faster than duplicating those items. This may be easy if you want to quickly unlock new tiers with items you are not yet producing but need for the next unlock.
I didn't even think of duplicating tickets! I frankly don't need tickets since I sink all overflows so I have a lot of tickets. Except for the obscenely expensive items, I can buy anything I want from the awesome shop.

It works. I duped a lot of spheres, somerloops and drives, but then I thought I F-up my game experience, because removed all the fun on exploring, finding and building stuff. So I deleted started a new save.
This will be a mayor strat on glitched speedruns!

your not aim at the belt correctly if the belts do not merge something you doing wrong. Merging the belt works with or without this exploit
@@Voorhees-Jason OK thanks I will try again. Note that it didn't merge on GFN but did on local session on my PC. But after merging the belts the objects did not double. I might be doing something wrong

I would highly recommend to not abuse this bug too much. It will make the game too easy and will not be as fun afterwards.
I only did it with Mercer spheres to finish the dimensional depot research tree without using like a 100 of the ones I find.
How do you make conveyors belt so straight on the edges? Which button you press?
R to switch build modes, if you changed any controls it should be the same button you use to swap between default and zoop for foundations and walls.

The frozen items are OK (they are the duplicates, while the previous items still are circulating and will stop when they will meet the duplicated one again at the end of the circle)
To get the duplicates and the original items you have to DELETE the belt)
@@dimercamparini nah like the belt will hold say 50 and when I hook the merger up like 20 will go onto it then it'll freeze. Nothing gets duplicated
@@skiddosaurusrex3524 Unless it's patched in some recent version of the game (I am still on the original version 1.0 at release) you are not doing the process of building and dismantling the belt correctly...otherwise it will work 100% (I have done it in many variations, with or without blueprints)...ATM with a blueprint I am duplicating like 1400 items at once in a single passage.
The "logic" of this glitch is that when a merger is built on 2 pieces of belts and you remove it, he basically "recreate" another, continuos, belt (and should delete the previous 2 that were separated, immediately after the creation of the new)...if you do a loop of a sigle belt and make the 2 extremities to touch, and put a merger where the belt return back towards itself the game tries to create a single looped belt that has no beginning or end, and in the process it "forgets" to remove the old belt...so everything gets duplicated.
@@dimercamparini yea the whole belt is one piece when it gets dismantled but I can not for the life of me replicate what you have shown, am on the latest version. Finished the game anyway so now it's advanced mode engage

I've gotten this to work once, every other time it either doesn't work entirely or deletes what I had on the belt. Thank goodness i was just testing it on random things and nothing big yet. Perhaps I'm missing something
Were the mergers aligned perfectly? Tip to align them is to place on the ground behind it so you can snap it with ctrl.
